  2. OK, fellow rarity fans. prepare to go into diabetic shock. This is a gal on DA http://kilala97.deviantart.com/

Yeah, I've seen those pieces of Rarity with a child around, since it looks to be a pony/dragon hybrid I presume it would be Spike's... not that I'm a huge fan of such implications, but that is indeed some seriously fantastic art regardless. :o

  3. Absolutely not! Why, since I was a wee lad I'd try and take my Game Boy with me wherever I went(uh, at least I think I did, not too clear on where I took what in my wee lad memories), and to this day I'll usually have my 3DS in my pocket when I go out, which is even made fun when you're not playing it with Streetpass! I play games all the time in public and there's nothing wrong with that. :D

  4. Rarijack seems to be everywhere, I don't think it's a bad ship personally but I think it's shipped a bit too much personally.

Also, Twilight x Shining Armor is just disgusting. That ship just needs to stop if you just ask me, unless it's done in a sibling fashion like it should be.

And I know it's not exactly a ship, but people need to stop suggesting that Dinky is Derpy Hooves' daughter, because she's not. It's pretty much like saying Cloud Kicker is her sister just because they look alike, doesn't mean they're related. Derpy x Doctor Whooves doesn't really make any sense to me either.

  5. Hi I've recently wanted to look at more friend safaris like dark type and psychic type in pokemon x. so if anyone has that then you can post your code (or PM it to me) and I will add you owo here's my friend code. My safari is Electric and I believe I have a pikachu in it but I'm not sure. 5026-4450-7227

Hey zenofan1, just letting you know that we already had a thread for exchanging Pokémon X and Y friend codes, so I merged your topic with it. Try not to create topics that may be similar to ones that we already have in the future please, and try to make use of the search next time. Thanks for your understanding. :)

  6. Well for now, it seems they're just spiders, but with stars on them. I don't know if there's anything else special about them though, perhaps we'll see more of them later in the season, ot perhaps not.

    I think they're ADORABLE!!

I saw the ones by Spike I went, "Aww, star spider!!"

And then I squee'd when Fluttershy actually called them "star spiders". XDD

Kinda makesme want to create a bug enthusiast pony just so she can have one.

Or have Luna keep one as a pet. But only if they are proven to just be typical spiders (though admittedly, nothing in Everfree Forest is typical).

It's POSSIBLE that they will be brought up again later, and if they are I will be really impressed. I haven't seen MLP do that yet: mention something totally off hand, ignore it for the rest of the episode and bring it back later.

So yeah, like them. They're cute.

But then I looked up what a real star spider looks like:

    Yikes...

    Oh, uh, oh my...

I wonder if they knew these were real spiders when designing them for this episode, and that they were this ugly... :o

  7. Watched the new episode and it was a lot of fun!!I loved the star spiders and the hysterical "disembodied pony legs" line. But I think what I loved the most I think was that entry that Twilight read from Celestia's diary. So forgetting for a second that I'm surprised Twilight just grabbed her mentor's personal journal and unflinchingly started to read it, I LOVE what she found there: "I love to duck behind the paintings. And though the Hall of Hooves still gives her a bit of a fright, the trap-door slide is Luna's favorite!!" Oh my gosh... our Royal Sisters turned their castle into a giant fun-house for themselves...The mental images that spring from that concept are GLORIOUS!! Just image Luna being flipped through the secret passage behind her throne, or Celestia suddenly getting spun through a wall an being on the roof!! And they'd be giggling like kids!! It's so adorable and hilarious all in one go!! XDD And though seemingly inconsequential, I think it adds some great insight into their characters and relationship, plus adds on to other information. For one, though it's not stated, in the last episode it appears that one of Celestia's EoH was Generosity. It looked to me that Celestia is designing and building these tricks into the building FOR Luna (though of course also enjoying them herself). Sounds pretty Generous to me!! And the this further insight into Luna's love of tricks plus her desire to have fun in Nightmare Night really support Luna wielding Laughter. It also gets into sad territory when you think of what happens later.I understand being annoyed that your subjects don't seem to pay attention to you, but it's hard to believe Luna would become so bitter towards her sister even after it's now been pretty much confirmed that Celestia was perfectly loving and interested in making Luna happy. But one could say that the castle was being built LONG before any of that drama. The novelty of secret passages and spinning walls would wear off and a combination of things could have started affecting Luna's perspective. Ponies continued to not appreciate her night. Maybe Celestia got busier and couldn't hang out as often. Maybe Luna kept her worries bottled up, and their relationship was strained since Luna would come off as angry, but Celestia didn't know why (hard to get along with someone when they seem angry and snippy at you, but won't tell you WHY). Maybe she started perceiving Celestia as the ROOT of her insecurities. And then of course there's the temptation and goading from the Nightmare Forces (which I totally think exist). Anyway, long story short, I love that teeny bit of insight into the princesses' lives. What are your favorite parts?

Hey there ShadOBabe, just letting you know that I merged the topic you created asking about favorite moments from the episode Castle Mane-ia with our official episode thread, which is the kind of thing these topics are made for! Try not to create duplicate episode threads in the future please, because chances are we're gonna already have one. Thanks for your understanding. :)

  8. I finished the game today! For how little story the game has for a while, they sure lay it on you at the end, all I'm saying about that. Overall though, I'd say ALBW is the best handheld Zelda I've ever played- I really hope they adapt the freedom and nonlinearity of this game to the Wii U Zelda, hopefully though with a more epic feel, because while ALBW had some moments like that, the real strength of the gameplay was the puzzle solving and exploring, although it could have used some more epic battles and whatnot. We just need a gamme like this with better combat and the next Zelda will be golden, not saying this one isn't though because it certainly is. :D

  9.

I'm too lazy to check out the rest of the pages to see if there's the same inquiry as mine but...

    SPOILER ALERT!

No, seriously, spoiler alert. Don't cry to me later on.

What the hell was with that portrait with the moving eyes?

    mlp wut.PNG

Oh yeah, that portrait. Seems it was reused from MMMystery on the Friendship Express. As for what the deal with it was, I don't really know, perhaps it was the Pony of Shadows' doing?

    I'm pretty sure it was

    Pinkie

Hm, that could be too.
  10. Yeah it was pretty obvious that Pinkie was playing the organ. I almost thought it was going to be someone else but it just had to be Pinkie. She really shined in this episode despite not having as much screentime as the others though I feel, so I didn't mind.

  11. Wow, this was an amazing episode! I didn't think they would have all the mane 6 go to the castle for different reasons- that was something fresh for the show I believe, I expected they would all explore together or something. Yeah, I know the whole concept of 'characters in a spooky place not knowing each other are there unintentionally scaring one another' has probably been done to death already, but the show's brilliance shined through here, with hilarious moments like Angel stepping on a switch that made Rarity and Fluttershy fall and he just didn't give a rabbit's foot, and legitimately creepy things like the Hall of Hooves and dat ending. Plus, for the first time in a while, Pinkie was actually funny again(seriously, the bell ringing, I can't even), at least to me because she was somewhat annoying at times in S3. All the characters had good moments here really, I think main props should go to Fluttershy here though- it was almost heartbreaking seeing how she thought Angel was crushed by a pillar, and her 'oh' when he came out with Twilight was pretty funny(and a relief for her, I'd imagine). Rainbow Dash and Applejack were great together as well, those 'tough' ponies probably scared each other by accident more than the others, just perfect. I found Rarity's quest for, uh, tapestry to be a little odd though, but it was at least nice to see her relatively unfazed about getting dirty, she's really grown a lot since the show started. I think Twilight and Spike were a little weaker than the rest here, since Twilight was all 'books books books' and Spike was all like 'scaredy baby dragon', and Twilight's lack of fear was expected if not a little dull. That freeze spell was cool though, super OP however she is an alicorn now so I'll let it slide. They don't seem to have given a clear indication of where/how she was living either, seemed she was just at Golden Oaks at the start for books but we'll see hopefully, her friends didn't seem too surprised to see her at the castle at least. The key quest was also mentioned here and there by her, but they didn't really make any progress on it which is okay, we've got a whole season for it. Also seems they'll be writing in a journal together or something as Twilight had to somewhat haphazardly mention towards the end that she was reading Celestia's in the castle(naughty naughty Twily) and that she wanted her own with her friends or something. Which is fine, but I dunno, a diary is a bit girlier than letters no? :P

All in all though, I adored this episode, it got so much across in so little time without being rushed- the pacing was perfect, the character interactions were absolutley golden, and new story elements were introduced like the journal and the possibility of a real shadow Pony very well I believe. One of my favorites of the whole series now! 10/10 :D

(Also, I'd rate the season premiere 9.5/10 for reference) ;)

  12. Well, I try and play any game that catches my eye. I tend to gravitate more towards RPGs like Pokémon and Monster Hunter for things I usually play though. The only thing I have for newer games atm is 3DS, so I've played a lot of stuff on that like the aforementioned 2, Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus, and quite a few more. For the most part I like to play a lot of single player stuff though.

  13. Well, considering I have known 2 of them since their birth(my nephews), and have been a large part of their lives, I certainly love babies. Sure, the earliest stages can be hard to deal with, but the more they learn, the more rewarding they are to be around. My experience with them has certainly made me want to have my own someday. :)
