Well... I understand now, and i know that r34 is not really my thing. Don't hate it, but also don't like it. And oh, thanks for tolerating my intolerance. I meant this thread serious, and i'm happy that some people actually made meaningful post trying to help. And it kinda did. Its still a shock for me all the... "more mature" fanfics/images, but I will try to avoid it. Perhaps I do give this community another go. Oh, and yes. This is actually my first fandom i "joined". I've never been in any. Well. Steam groups dont count. do they ? -
Where ? Tumblr. I'm kinda tumblr addicted. The Lyra "plushie", and now the Twi "Plushie" I found out all these things not just now, but when I became a brony. I'm just making a discussion thread about it. I know that r34 has no exception (even thats the motto of it), but there is just too much for a show soo young. Far too many ...

If it would be so easy. I can't really tolerate it. I can live with it, but that would still be just ignorance. So ignoring it is really the best way? Fine by me. Also this: "if you don't like it, don't look at it" thing kinda doesn't work. I'm on tumblr and follow some ask/art blogs, and sometimes someone has to reblog some r34/gore. On Fimfic the filters do work, however the amount of good clean fic are slim. Speaking about fetishes, well... I understand them that some people like certain things in a more sexual way, but its hard to truly understand, since I think I don't have any. Irl straight pr0n counts ?

Well, that it looks like this fandom is not for me. I kinda now understand why, but ... I try to be more tolerant, but I just simply can't do it for everything. i can live with it , but I really dont like it. Also I think i should stop, before I get an early ban.

r34 is disgusting (for me at least). Also I can not understand why would someone do something like that for such an innocent show. Try to make me understand. I just simply don't see why. :S As for being late? Yes. I saw ponies all across the net since 2010, but havent bothered with it in any way back then. I get that you should try to tolerate people, and love them, but there are always the cruel exceptions. I terribly hate some people because what they done to me in the past, and I don't see if I can ever forgive them. I try to look positively for new people I met, but there is just this thing tingling in my mind telling me from past experiences not to.

I kinda find love&tolerate everything too extreme. You just simply can't do that to everything. And there are certain ethical things going wrong about this fandom, but thats just my opinion that I gathered over the past 3-4 months.

I watched the bronycon streams, and was like aww, those people are awsome and friendly. And saw a lot of nice pictures on Deviantart, and read some nice stories. But I sadly found the "dark" side of it on google image search (never ever search for ponies with safe search off), and on Fimfic. Eww. how could someone draw/write something like this? How can they do something to such an innocent show ? I'm terribly shocked, and amazed in the same time. Whats your opinion on the fanbase ?

Howdy everypony. I'm kinda a new brony. It was about 4 months ago when I saw the first episode. After all the memes, and flooded image board in mid 2011 i dl'ed the first ep. It was sitting on my hard drive for over 6 months when I decided to finally watch it, since I got nothing better to do than. And bam. That night i nearly went trough half of the season. Its one of the rare cartoons made today that have value, and an actual working plot, and not to mention the awesome animation ( flash is really awesome ) Anyway. I'm a 17Y old High school student living in East Serbia. I speak : English, German, Serbian, and Hungarian. And know some pc stuff (mostly hardware related (also a member of the Brony group on Overclock.net )), and generally a lazy guy . I'm kinda alone in the pony side here. Haven't seen, nor heard about anyone watching the show near my area. Not sure about the whole country however. Hope make some friends here, and Bronies from Serbia, if they even exist (well, chances are not too high, hence Serbia has like 7M people only) -DarX
