    Good point, I completely forgot about that. Though it does seem to me that the writers of the show feel obligated to hold to a higher standard by the members of the fandom then what is normally expected of other children shows. And I don't mean that in an entitled way, I think the show is great for reaching out to bigger audience in the first place.

    Small detail and hints of continuity in an American-produced, lighthearted children's cartoon is GLORIOUS, I tell you!

    While I think that Spike should have more air time as an important character, this episode was more centered on RD and on a event for fliers. Putting Spike in there would have been all and well, but he would just be kinda there...which I feel adds onto the feeling of "Hey, we promised fans to use this character more often, let's just stick him/her in episode backgrounds instead of making another storyline centered for him/her." Meanwhile, I think its a first time a previously unnamed background pony with seldom lines through the show finally got a more involved role with a few of mane 6. Also, hurray for Derpy photo bomb~

    They back pedaled on that with the EG movie after hearing so many complaints about how quickly Twilight picked up on flying in the finale of Season 3. Besides the wings, Twilight is subtly growing into a slightly taller and slender form similar to that of Celestia and Luna (Compare her to the other mane 6 when they stand side by side and you can tell the difference).

    I was hoping for more depth regarding Pinkie's IMMEDIATE family, turns out this was more about the Apple family which was good since they did need the screen time. Overall enjoyable, given its 30 minute length and simplicity for younger children.

    Seems like chivalry is well and alive in Canada! In all seriousness, its actually pretty common practice up here (I live in Toronto). This is more of a serious topic for us Canadians: Granted for what it is, Chivalry by its term is a bit sexist in origin, but we are talking about a 19th/20th century definition which is exclusive for men giving preferential treatment to women. However, if you practice kindness without regard to whatever gender, but just simply because of kindness, we really don't need chivalry anymore. It's also why Kindness is an element of Harmony and NOT Chivalry, rolfmao

    After watching Hearth's Warming Eve, all I can say is this...a pure Total War-style RTS game of a 3-way conflict between earth ponies, pegasi, and unicorns....three kingdoms much? Pony Wars: Battle for Equestria!!!!
