Not sure. I know that they are going to use a different voice for the narrator/dad's thoughts Also listening to their livestream Jeno doesn't seem to have as much of an accent as in the trailer. I do think they are trying to get Mic the Microphone to help though

You can read the first draft of the movie here. It's really good actually, fills in a lot of plot holes and overall I think makes the story better. Keep in mind it's not the final screenplay though. I am closely following the project and will be sure to update this whenever I find something new.

Okay seriously guys? Please get off of my My Little Dashie thread and go hate on MLD somewhere else. Your no better than the trolls on MLP youtube vids. If you don't like it then why did you click on a thread/video about it? Just because you think it's overrated dosent men you have to go and ruin it for everyone else.

If you didn't like MLD due to plot holes and such, go read the script for the movie. It adds a lot to the story and in my opinion, makes it better.

I know how it feel, recently I lost my golden retriever that I had for nearly 8 years. I rescued her as a puppy and loved her like a child. We did everything together, if I went to take a shower, she would lay outside the door and wait for me to come out. One day, she got really sick, and less than a week later, she was gone. She had leukemia. After that I was depressed for a very long time, and in fact, becoming a brony is what pulled me out of it. I'm sorry for your loss. (And I'm not sure what the average life span for a cat is, but out neighbor's cat is 19 years old and still alive and healthy.)

Sure, I'd love to hear it! I've been playing piano for a long time now, but just recently got into writing my own music. I'm not very good at it, and only have one finished song, but I really hope to improve over time.- 6 replies

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they said there will be a different narrator. I wasn't impressed with him either, partially because I had pictured him to be American and not British in the story, but if they're the ones with the time, talent, and money, then I really don't mind.

Once a story has popularity like that, it's kinda hard for it to go away.Plus there are plenty of other stories on MLD's level of popularity. Fallout: Equestria for example. (I honestly didn't care for that story at all.) While Fallout: Equestria isn't getting a movie, there is a full game conversion for Fallout 3 in the works for it. I think that can compare with a movie. Also, they're changing the story for the movie to make better, just like they do with a real movie about a book. You can read the first draft of the script at www.mldmovie.com The final draft is almost complete, but will not be released until after the movie is out. I can't argue at all with the last part.

Hey now, everypony's allowed to have their own opinion. Not everyone likes MLD or thinks it's sad, just like how I think it's the best and the saddest fanfic I've ever read. Just let people have their own opinions, and you have yours. No need for harshness. We're all family here

What's with all the My Little Dashie hate threads? I dislike a lot of things other people here love, but you don't see me going around telling everyone it's overrated and bad.

It all comes down to personal preference. I have read nearly every sad fan fiction suggested to me, but the only one that ever made me cry was My Little Dashie. Nothing else has even come close. A couple people had said that they didn't cry at MLD, but stories like A Precious Rainbow or Our Last Goodbyes made them cry like 2 year olds. In my opinion, those were both very good stories, but I never even came close crying or even being sad. Again, it all comes down to your own preferences and how the stories relate to things you've experienced before.

That was just his first draft, he said he is nearly done with the final draft and it is much different than the first.
