To me Brony always meant "A fan of ponies", usually male, but I know some girls who like to be called bronies rather than pegasisters. So when I call myself a brony, I'm just using it as shorthand. HOWEVER I too feel annoyed when somebody uses their fandoms to define themselves. If people DEFINE themselves as bronies, furries, twihards etc, then it becomes a little annoying. If they just use the term to say "I'm a fan of ____" then that's another story. -

What caused you to become a brony? Specifically: What is the first pony-related thing you remember seeing? What caused you to watch the show for the first time? What were your thoughts while you were watching your first episode? For me, I know I saw some pony-related stuff before it, but the first thing remember seeing was either a ponified version of a character from my favorite Final Fantasy game, or a web page I searched up to see who "Derpy" was. Then not much later I joined a fairly small forum community where many of the members had ponies as their profile pic or in their signature. After that I was like "hmm, there must be something good about this show that makes so many people like it." So I looked it up at Know Your Meme and read about it there. After that I searched down a video of the first episode, and with an open mind I hit play (although I made sure nobody else was watching me ). At the beginning where they're telling the story of Celestia and Luna I actually was thinking "wow, this is actually kind of awesome!" Then I watched till the end of the episode and immediately hit the Next Episode button. I then realized how quick I was to go to the next episode and shook my head, slightly embarrassed at myself. However I don't regret it, and soon I just downloaded all the episodes to my computer to watch them. This was all a couple weeks before the end of season 2. So after that I've been hooked on the show ever since! What about you guys?

it is slower, has a worse layout, and doesn't have very much support for extensions or add-ons. It also isn't compatible with certain web-pages. In my mind there's no reason to use IE over anything else. Even if you need to use IE to view certain pages Firefox has an add-on that emulates IE so even that is not an issue. I also laugh whenever I see anybody using IE

It probably just feels to akward it's not like flying as a pegasus where it is just natural, you actually have to concentrate a bit when using magic, and the extra work might just not be worth it. Also it could be easy to drop yourself if you lose concentration for a seconds =p I don't imagine it would be especially hard, especially if you practice. It is just impractical -
Aren't, like, most good xbox games made for PC too? I don't see the big deal here other than Microsoft finally getting their flank handed to them. Also this might not have been such a big deal if this was discovered right when the 360 came out, but the fact that they've been using this w/out Motorola's permission for over half a decade makes this a much bigger deal. In the end though, there won't be too much of a problem b/c Microsoft has enough products besides the xbox to keep their buisness running anyways. Even a major lawsuit wouldn't hurt their massive bank account that much

Well if all I get to watch is a regular day in the lives of ponies I suppose I wouldn't spend too much time watching them, it would be pretty cool though so I'm sure I would get on every once in awhile if I didn't feel like watching an episode from the show. It would be cool for something like the week after I got it but I think I would get bored of it after that and only go back to it occasionally (because I would most likely rather watch something from the show rather than just the day to day activities of them =p) I feel like I was just really repetitive =p

This makes me think of what boss battle music would be for Discord on the MLP video game XD Really like the mellowness of this, I think it fits Discord better than something heavy would, so good call on that. Also, sorry for pestering you for DL links but even if this wasn't MLP themed you keep making stuff in the exact styles I like Plus I need more dubstep on my computer anyways.

So first it is NOT in August, then it is only 13 episodes? The recent news has just been a constant letdown. They might have only 13 for now, then do something like Season 4 after the holidays, which will have another 13.Either that or they just ran out of plot ideas EDIT: Either those or they are just trolling us because it would be funny

I think you hit the effect I think you were trying to get, very dramatic, fits well with the song. I look forward to seeing more from you! Luna looked great except her hair looked kind of like jelly at some points, probably could have used some stars in it to make it look more night-skyish

The boss forces you to kill off your own party members and revive them constantly during the battle, and since you have only 3 people in your party at that part it is really bad. I always save that second to last.So yeah unless everybody know Life 2 (or whatever it's called on GBA), carry 99 pheonix downs. Also tip that makes the game a lot easier, the spell Osmose is OP in the World of Ruin, basically give you unlimited MP

First time I played through this I got to that part and had to restart because I got stuck xp one of the demon kids revives his buddies constantly so you have to kill him first, and the other two in any order but I think one runs away if you kill the other two first, not sure which one =/However that's not the hard part, it is the boss after those guys that is terrible. If you don't have A LOT of phoenix downs and have your party decked out with some strong ice magic, you might be out of luck sorry to break it to ya. Anyways on topic, Mario Kart Wii on single player. I've never wanted to throw my controller around so much at a game before. Even after I took breaks of months before attempting it again, I still could never play it for more than an hour till I tore my hair out.

I think it sounds like a bad idea overall. It doesn't sound funny or original, just like some old lame horror story that I thought was funny in middle school but is now just caught up with the times. I also think that it would also further tarnish the reputation of everybrony as the rest of the world views us. If you quoted it exactly though, it doesn't sound like he was serious much, just some sort of weird off-the-handle type thing. -
I'm pretty new to the site and I thought it had always been there, I just had never noticed it Really like it though, really helpful for me when I just want to find something to post in without looking around every forum group for the best topic.

Most of the T.V I watch is just whatever my family has on when I'm in the room. MLP is the only thing I actually go out of my way to watch. I'm a really big fan of it, but I'm not to the point where I would get a tattoo of Rainbow Dash's mark or anything like that. I like it to the point where I can try to get others to watch it and will enjoy drawing fan-art, but I'm not going to be going around calling people in real life "everypony" or things like that. Put simply, I really really really like it, but it hasn't absolutely changed how I compose myself, although it has made a large impact on preventing me from falling into depression. Not only because it is a very bright and cheery show, but because I'm starting to develop newer and more popular interests than things I have grown out of.

Lol I thought I would have to wait 5 hours till I was out of class to look at this picture, but I found a way to get on DA anyways XD. Anyways I think this one all her limbs look oddly shaped (and her front-right hoof looks like it's coming out the back of here head O.o However I'm trying to supress laughter as I'm typing this. She looks so excited to gobble all that cake up! (I'm sure Pinkie is rubbing off on her .) Next pic should be her sitting on the floor with a stomach ache and frosting all over her face XD. Totally nailed the facial expression.
No memory management, just pure programming.
