    ANYWAAAAY... Hello brickwall. Tonight I'll be rambling about the following topics:
    Xmas presents, my b-day (blech), snowponies, and the card I made for my mom's b-day (yay).
     
     
     
    Xmas has come and gone.
    Our xmas was small, but nice. Over the course of December, I had gotten quite a lot of gifts (or, at least, it feels like I had gotten a lot of stuff) despite me repeatedly telling my mom not to get me anything (due to bad times.) I felt it would be better to just save the money for important stuff, ya know?
    But, mom being... well, mom... she got some things anyhow. And she was taking shots in the dark, because I never gave her my wishlist. xD
     
    So, in no order, she got me...
    A MLP TCG binder, Gala Ponies TCG tin, a coloring book with Cadance on the cover, a whole bunch of blind bag ponies, Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle plushies, a MLP bubble bath set (...wat), the 2013 MLP calender, annnd a custom made Princess Luna shirt. Which she had made at some sort of custom shirt design store at a mall.

    Now... my b-day. Ugh. As far as I'm concerned, the 27th didn't happen. That day doesn't exist.
    I only bring up that day because my mom had made me a pony cake. (Er... sorta.)

    Almost a week ago, it had snowed a whole FUCKTON here. And it was the kind of snow that you can make stuff with!
    So and my mom went out and played in the snow. XD We attempted to build a snowpony. This was the result:

    lulz. Pretty good for our first try. xD
    Can you tell what breed it is? I'll give you a hint: it starts with an "A"~
    We then had snowball fights. And I fell into the snow a lot, cause I'm clumsy as hell~ It was sooo much fun though; I hadn't had that much fun in a looooong time!

    And finally... my mom's b-day was just a few days ago.
    I didn't have nothing fancy to give her (and she usually buys whatever she wants anyhow), so I decided to make her a gift. I printed out an Applejack party hat and colored it. (Her favorite pony is Applejack. xD) And then, I decided to make her a b-day card.
    And this is what it looked like:

    If you're wondering, that is Princess Cadance hugging her (in my headcannon) possible daughter, Princess Skyla. Yeah yeah, for all we know that could be her sister. Bleh. They look better as mom and daughter~
    ....Besides, I was stupid and didn't even think about drawing my mom's pony character hugging my ponysona until I got done inking that drawing. So it was too late to change anything. XD
     
    Anyways, my mom really seemed to like it (she even said so!) So, I felt happy because she seemed happy with it. ^ w^
    I did something right! Yaaaay~
     
     
     
    "Whoa whoa whoa, hold the phone, Wolfie. Who the hell is Princess Skyla?"
    So far, she is just a toy. One of those So-Soft Newborn baby pony toys. She probably won't ever be an in-show character--much to my dismay.
     
    *daydreams*
    It'd be awesome if season 3's season finale was Cadance and Shining Armor introducing Skyla as their little bundle of joy...~~~<3 So much cute would be had~<3

    Rant Time #2!

    So right now I have a splitting headache, and I'm in a ranty mood. So I feel I should rant about something stupid before my ranty mood turns into a bad mood and I snap off at someone. (Which I'll probably end up doing right here in this rant. Ooops~)
     
    Today I'll be ranting about alicorns.
    I actually had a novel of an essay written about this subject, but then I said "fuck it" and decided to just make this all short (or at least I hope to make it somewhat short) and just wing-it. Because I honestly really shouldn't be letting this topic piss me off so much.
     
    And why does it piss me off?
     
    Because many a month ago (in May), some little idiot verbally set my ass aflame because my ponysona is--OMG--an alicorn. =_=;
    So this topic is personal. And not just because someone bit my head off, but also because this is the single most IDIOTIC ideology that I have ever come across.
     
     
    So let me bust some of the most pettish "complaints" about alicorns into pieces, so I can get this bloody rant over with already.
     
    "Alicorns are supposed to be rare and unique!!1! You shouldn't make one, as it makes them less rare!"
    Except alicorns aren't rare and unique. In the show itself, there are already over 100 alicorns (Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Chrysalis, and her Changeling army {which actually probably number in the thousands, but I used 100 because it's smaller and I suck at math~}) So don't give me that BS. You could say the same about zebras, considering there is only ONE so far in-show. But have you ever seen someone get hell over having a zebra OC? Wolfie thinks not.
     
    "Alicorn OCs are always overpowered BAAAWWW!1! Or they're always royal! WAAAH!"
    And? So what? I mean, I can see that being a slight problem for you RPers out there. But then, you can always, oh I dunno, not allow those kinds of OCs into your RPs. Or is that too much work?
    But other than that, I see no problem. Did you know there are royal/overpowered OCs out there that are NOT alicorns? Yeah, they exist. And honestly, I've seen more of those kinds of OCs than the alicorn ones. You wouldn't believe all the unicorn princesses or uber strong earth ponies I've seen. xD
    *shrug*
    And what is so bloody wrong with wanting to be a princess/queen and/or a prince/king, anyways? O_o Or wanting to have so many powers that you are practically a god? The way I see it, if you want to do any of that, then have at it hoss.
    Let your imagination go crazy.
     
    "People who create alicorn OCs are just trying to be speecial snowflakeies!1!"
    ...Yeah, I'm still not seeing a problem here. I didn't know that was such a bad thing.
    Did you know? Sometimes feeling special can cheer up a person, maybe even make them feel a little bit better about themselves. Oh but no, that isn't allowed; how dare you feel good about yourself!
    Now, there is always the risk of someone getting a big head over feeling special, but that happens less than you think (surprisingly enough!)
     
    Oh, and for the record, if anyone has an OC--be it an earth pony, unicorn, pegasus, zebra, mule, changeling, WHATEVER--you are automatically a special snowflake. And no, that is not a bad thing.
    You see, by creating a pony OC--or pretty much any type of OC (not just pony)--you are trying to be apart of that world. Even if you create your own world within the universe, you are still trying to be apart of it. Trying to be, in a sense, special. And there is nothing wrong it.
    So, to anyone who has any kind of OC, congrats, you're special in your own unique way.
     
     
    Remember this my little alicorn haters; your glass house is just as easy to break as mine is.
    And don't cry "love and tolerance". I don't really follow that motto. And if I did, this would be one of the many exemptions to that rule, because in my eyes, anyone who follows this ideology does not deserve it.
    The idea to hate on someone's own personal alicorn characters based on these baseless complaints is the most idiotic, petty, insolent mindset I have ever come across.
    It is a fucking fake mythological breed of horse who--god forbid--happens to have a bloody horn and two bloody wings.
     
    And I know all this just makes me as petty as the people I'm getting butthurt at, but I honestly stopped giving a fluff forever ago. If people are going to hate me, or anyone else, for a fake breed of horse, then I'll be hateful right back~ After all, hate is what makes the world go round~!
     
     
    TL;DR:
    This ideology is bad and you should feel bad! *flips all the tables* BROOKLYN RAAAEGGG!!

    Late Night Ramble

    Hi my little brickwall~
     
    Wolfie here, rambling for no reason because it is currently 5:15AM and I'm tired yet feel like doing multiple things. (Oh, and for the record, I've been up allllll night~)
     
    For one, I feel like drawing, but when I pick up my drawing book, my drive to draw dies in 10 seconds flat. *ba-dum-tish*
     
    Two, I feel like making a silly little brony ID card after I found a ID necklace holder thingy in my room. But I'm feeling lazy. So far, I only have a border made.
     
    Three, I feel like making a custom MLP trading card of my ponysona, but I'm feeling lazy on that too. Plus, all my decent drawings of her have yet to be scanned to my computer, because I'm lazy~
     
     
    Lazy lazy lazzzzy~ Lazy lazy lazzzzy~~
     
     
    Oh oh, four, I also have the strongest craving for spaghetti and meatballs. (lol meatballs) But... it's 5 in the bloody morning. But... it sounds so good right now. * w*
     
    Maybe I'll eat some after I sleep. Orrr... I'll eat some, then sleep. Oh the choices~
     
     
    Anyways, one final thing; those rants. Yeah, them. I'll get around to them... um... sooner or later~
    If you want to know what the topics will be, well here they are (in no actual order):
    ~Alicorns (if it wasn't obvious before, I'm... uh... pro-alicorn. Fuck that sounds weird. But yeah. This is a very sore issue with me, so this rant will be uber, uber harsh. And possibly get me in trouble, but screw the rules I have money I'll rant about it anyway.)

    And... that would be it. I may rant about non-MLP crap, or other MLP crap, but it'll come to me randomly (or not.)

    'Ello my little brickwall and lurkers.
     
    Wolfie here, talking about absolutely nothing--like always! Today's topics include: why I say hello to a brickwall (which will make me sound insane), my lurkerness (which will make me sound even more insane), and my christmas gifts for my mom. Oh, and I'll be showing off my Alicorn Amulet that I made Sunday. Yes, I actually went and made one.
     
    So, let the rambling begin!
     
    ~Why I say hello to a brickwall
    "Brickwall" is my blog audience--A.K.A. no one. Because I like to think that no one reads these dumb things that I type~ But, I also say hi to lurkers, because I know there is usually someone out there who just likes to click/read ALL the new blog posts that people make. Or there are people who are just curious. You know, stuff like that.
    But why do I like to think my audience is no one? Because that makes me feel better--or braver--about posting blog posts in the first place. Silly reason is probably silly, but yeah.
    Also, it sometimes does feel like I am talking to a brickwall, due to the fact that I hardly ever get any type of notices--comments, brohoofs, whatever--from my blog posts (and no, I'm NOT complaining about that. In fact, I'd prefer to keep it that way. :v)
     
     
    ~My lurkerness
    (This is kinda following along with the above topic.)
    Along with liking the fact that I barely ever get notices from my blog posts, I also kinda like it that I don't receive very many notices for anything else throughout this forum; like for quotes, brohoofs, etc.
    When I get a notice for something--be it for getting quoted, brohoofed, commented, etc.--I get tense, and feel like I got in trouble and I'm about to get yelled at by someone. I dunno, I just don't like it when the spotlight hits me. I don't like it when I get noticed by someone. It makes me flail about like a bloody fish.
    ....*flails* I'm a 95% lurker, and 5% post-and-runner. Pay no attention to me goddangit, I'm just a figment of your imagination! D:
     
     
    ~Gifts for my mom
    Lately, my mom has been giftbombing me. Over the past... week, I think, my mom has gotten me the following gifts: She got me a blanket that has Rainbow Dash on it and says "20% Cooler", a Vinyl Scratch wallet and lunch box, two Princess Luna keyrings, a lot of MLP TCGs, and I apparently have two more gifts on the way in the mail. ._.
     
    I wanted to give my mom something in return, so I decided to make her some MLP-themed word searches (she loves those things), and some custom MLP cards--because she now (sorta) collects the TCGs, too. I made her a custom card of her pony character, and she seemed to like it.
    Soo, I decided I'd make some customs for her collection. Unfortunately, I was only able to make two (Derpy Hooves and Babs Seed) and I got stuck in a rut after that. So, now I'm thinking of making customs by scratch--I was thinking of making some cards based on items (alicorn amulet, smarty pants doll, tom the rock, the crystal heart, etc.) and maybe my own villain cards (since there is no blank villain card base I can use...) and things like that.
     
    I dunno... *shrug* I just want to repay my mom's kindness. And this is the only way I know how...
     
     
     
     
    ~Wolfie's homemade Alicorn Amulet!
    So, I'm pretty sure just about everyone has seen the latest MLP episode. You know, the one where Trixie (ick) comes back, sporting a very very verrrry awesome Alicorn Amulet. Yeah, well, if you can't tell by now, I really really really REALLY love that amulet. So much so, that I actually made one for myself to wear. Literally.
    Here's the picture:

     
    Here's how I made it:
    1. I googled vector images of the amulet first. There wasn't many at the time, so I printed out the best looking one that I could find. (Hey, that rhymed! xD)
    2. I cut out the image, then taped it up so it wouldn't bend or be all... flimsy. (And so it wouldn't give my neck paper cuts.)
    3. I then poked a hole on both wings, but they were too small, so my mom helped me make them a tad bigger.
    4. And finally, I put a necklace chain through it (after my mom had found a small enough chain.)
     
    And tadaaa! Wolfie now has herself a Alicorn Amulet! MWHAHAHAHAA--*coughs on Pepsi*

    Hello. It's me, Wolfie, doing nothing productive except talking to my metaphorical brickwall here. :3
     
    This morning, I'll be rambling like I normally do. Today's topics are;
    ~Pokemon
    ~Pony merch
     
     
    So... here we go~
     
    Recently, I received the new Pokemon games; Black 2 and White 2. Couple days ago, I beat White 2, and I am now dicking around exploring and.... whatnot. I also got two Genesects thanks to having two games. (One to keep, the other to probably use as a trade token.)
    I haven't captured the legendary(s) in White 2 yet. Well, I did catch those three warrior Pokemon--you know, the ones that have to do with Keldo (which I'm gonna cry about in a second.) But that is all, currently. Right now, I'm just trying to get my team to level 70.
    Speaking of which, my team includes:
    Arcanine
    Azumarill
    Serperior
    Zoroark
    Woobat
    Zekrom (which I traded from my Black version because I feared I wouldn't be able to beat the dragon-type gym. ;P )
     
     
    Now, speaking of Keldo.....
    I don't have it. ; n;
    More specifically, I don't have it because Keldo was released in one of those dumb "in real life" events. And I was too shy--or timid--to go. x_X /epicfail
    So now I'm stuck hoping that somehow, there will be another event (hopefully a fucking WI-FI event!) where I can get one, cause otherwise I'm screeeeewed.
    "But Wolfie, you can always trade with someone!"
    Oh, sure, yeah I could. IF...
    1. I had the pokedex data for Keldo so I could search/ask for one on the wifi network.
    2. I knew someone who had one and was willing to trade without them asking me for something outlandish in return. For example: asking me for a level 5 Zekrom/any other level 5 legendary. Or asking me for certain shiny pokemon (do I look like I have an action replay thingy?!)
     
    And unfortunately, that's usually what people only want nowadays. So I'm boned. /shot
     
     
     
    Soooo, time to switch topics before this turns into a rant~
    Um... Oh, yeah. A bit of an update on my pony merch.
    I don't remember if I talked about them in a previous entry, but;
    Last month (or the month before that, I can't remember) my mom found me the Twilight's light-up hot air balloon toy (which makes for a real dandy lantern), Pinkie Pie's train set thingy (which I also found very amusing), and just last night, my mom gave me the MLP TCG 30-packs giftbox. :3 I now have a double of the gold-framed Cadance card. And I even got a gold-framed Nightmare Moon card (which I squee'd about. XD)
    But, I pretty much got every card I already had.
    Well...
    Every card except the Wedding Edition of Twilight Sparkle.
     
    I've gotten two of these giftboxes before; meaning I've gone through 90 packs of these cards. And I have yet to get her. She must be a super-ultra-mega-epic-chicken-rare card or something.
     
     
     
    So that's all.
    I'm being lazy and tired right now, so I'm not gonna sign off this entry like I usually do.

    Ello there~
     
    Today I'm going to type up a silly blog. Why? Eh, I just need to do something to take my mind off other things...
     
    SO! SILLY BLOG TIME!
     
    And what is it about?
    Well, today's topic is about my ponysona, Lunar Tears. More specifically, today is officially her birthday!
    This entry will be like a timeline on how I created her, and an explanation of her name, and a few other things~ Enjoy.
     
     
    So... way back last year on October 26th, 2011, I finally made a pony character for myself after getting bored of test-drawing the mane 6 all the bloody time.
     
    I first began to toss around the idea of making my own personal pony character back in August of 2011 after playing a game on the Hub's website called "Adventures in Ponyville" (or something to that effect.) In the game, I named my pony 'Lunar Tears'. The name came to me relatively easy. I love the moon, and admittedly I cry... a lot. So, yeah.
     
    So the name was done.
     
    As far as looks went, she was a white pony with light blue hair and blue eyes (the color choices in-game were really limited.) Although I found a different version of said game via google where all the customization choices were unlocked, and I made her look like a pegasus. I then made her look like a unicorn so I could copy and paste the horn onto her previous look so she'd be a alicorn. (Unfortunately being an alicorn wasn't an option in the game. > n> ) And she also had a little yellow crescent moon cutie mark.

    I played around with a few other ponymaker games, but in the end I didn't really care for this design, and I ended up getting bored and forgetting all about her for a couple of months.
    *shrug*
     
    Fast forward to October 2011. I revisited the idea of my own pony. I had also just recently discovered Generalzoi's ponymaker game.
    I messed around, and then... I changed her look. Not by much, but to something that fitted my other personas.
    I was able to find a decent-looking longish hairstyle in-game, plus a tail to complete it. I changed the hair color from light blue to a sort-of dark brown (like my hair IRL) and changed the eyes to the same color. I then went and drew a cutie mark for her, which I made to match her name.
    And this is how she ended up looking:
     
     
     
    I was pretty happy with how she turned out, and on the 26th, I drew her for the first time. (And for me, that's when they become "born" is when they're drawn for the first time.)
    In the beginning I drew her just like the way she looks in the image above. But I never really liked the hairstyle, and slowly I merged into drawing her hair more like I would draw for my human personas.
     
    So, I started off drawing her like this:

    So, that's pretty much how she was made.
     
     
     
    As to why her name and cutie mark are what they are, well...
    Her name/cutie mark are based off of symbolism of the two emotions that usually hang over me like a cloud:
    The crescent moon represents loneliness. And yes it also represents my love for the moon, but it's mainly describing loneliness.
    And the teardrop represents crying, or sadness.
     
    And for those questioning why I didn't base her cutie mark off of a talent, well... I honestly don't feel like I have any talents. (well, maybe besides being annoying~)
    "But Wolfie, you look like you can draw!" Yeah well... I personally don't see my drawings as "talent", it's just something I sorta do.
    And besides that, the idea of a pencil--or any type of art supplies for that matter--for a cutie mark didn't really sound aesthetically pleasing to me. I wanted something related to something I felt was symbolic. *shrug*
     
    I suppose I should also answer this next question: "Why is Lunar Tears an alicorn in the first place?"
    She's an alicorn for many reasons.
    1. I based her off of my two older personas;
    Wolf Angel, who is my oldest persona (I created her in 4th/5th grade) and one of my old imaginary friends. Her name is also my semi-full nickname. (points at username)
     
     
    and Angelic Wolfie, who is pretty much just an angelic version of myself, and is my second oldest persona.
     
     
     
    You should notice in the pictures, that both characters have angel wings, and crescent moon symbols. And while these pictures don't show it, they both have magic powers. (wheeeewww *biizap!*)
    I wanted my pony to have some magic, and angel wings. Like Wolf Angel and Angelic Wolfie do.
    So I did it.
    Pretty simple explanation~
     
    2. I really, really, REALLY, like alicorns. (Old news is old.) They're my favorite breed of fantasy horse, with unicorns being a somewhat close second~

    And finally;
     
    "Did you know about the fandom's dislike for fan-created alicorns?"
    Back when I created Lunar Tears, I didn't know about the fandom's little... hatred... for alicorns. (Or at least the fan-created ones.) I never really delved into the fandom at that time, and so I never knew the fandom's politics. Hell, I didn't even know of the love & tolerate stuff, rule 34 ponies or even the clopper hate.
    Wolfie was blind to it all~
     
    Now, would I have made her an alicorn if I had known about it? Eeyup!
    Why?
    Well, for one, because I can. And for two, she just wouldn't be the same to me if she was a unicorn or pegasus. I never wanted to cop-out and make her a unicorn who could give herself butterfly wings. I mean, butterfly wings and fluttercorns in general are cool and all, but they just ain't the same. *shrug*
     
    Besides, I've never been one to follow invisible rules. Especially when the invisible rules are stupid as fuck. Fandom be damned~

    Hi brickwall~ Long time no... entry.
     
    No I'm not ranting. Today I'll be sharing my new merch I bought uhh... last Wednesday~ ^ 3^
     
    So basically me and my mom went to Toys r Us. Reason? Mainly I think my mom was trying to cheer me up and wanting us both out of the house for a small while. And it worked. I had fun. And I think she did, too.
     
    So anyway, we both scouted Toys r Us top to bottom, searching for ponies. It was like a treasure hunt~!
     
    We got a Pinkie Pie bubble blower, some stickers, the Wedding Castle (yes I actually got that. It's very fun to play with, wheee~), the talking White Celestia toy and talking Cadance toy, a Glimmer Wings Rarity, annnd those 3 blind bag pony sets (Cloudsdale, Sweet Apple Acres, and Royal Wedding.)

    Oh oh! And... Sunday, I think, my mom got me the most awesome thing ever. And it was something I had been lusting after, but was convinced that I'd never get it.
    What is it, you ask?
    She got me... the Nightmare Moon collector's set!!!
    I was spazzing out and jumping in the house and squealing like a kid on Christmas morning. > 3<

    Also, one last thing, my mom found me another Playful Pony Luna at a thrift store. So now I have two! xD
     
     
    That's about it.
    As for my rants; I had my alicorn one typed up in a word document, but it got deleted when my laptop lost power (oops). Which, now that think about it, is probably a good thing because I just know some butthurt little pansy would have reported it. Yes, it was that hateful. *innocent whistle*
    So, after this, I'll work on retyping it and heavily censor it. Or at least try to.

    Eeyup. It's time for my first rant! So lets get started~
     
    Rant topic: Love and Tolerate
    Rant level: possible foul language, possible hate, potential for hypocrisy, 50% chance for headaches, 80% chance of butthurt
     
    (Surprise! It's not about alicorns! Oh, but that rant will be coming real soon. And it will be a doozy~)
     
    Okie dokie.
     
    So first, I will say that the phrase "Love and Tolerate" doesn't bother me in the slightest. In my personal opinion, "Love and Tolerate" looks better on shirts and images (like the one I have here), but it's a nice little moral thingy to live by if you happen to be into those kinds of things. *shrug* Personally, I don't follow the motto thingy (though I do have a t-shirt that says it.) I follow a different motto; do unto others what others have done unto you~
     
    Anyways, my slight problem is with people who seem to think that you need to "Love and Tolerate" EVERYTHING. ._.
     
    From my understanding (and mind you, I'm probably wrong about this), "Love and Tolerate" means to come to an understanding that not everyone will think like you, that everyone is going to be different--either by looks, ideology, or what have you--and that you should just "love" and "tolerate" them, because that is just how they are. Now, from what I also understand, L&T does not apply to uber bad people like murderers (cold-blooded murder, not self-defense murder mind you) and rapists, etc.
    I think we could all agree to that, at the very least.
     
    Yet some people think L&T applies to EVERYONE. Or EVERYTHING.
    Buuut it doesn't~
     
     
    So, let me split this into two parts:
     
    To the uber pro-L&Ters: If you truly want to believe that you should L&T /everything/ and /everyone/, then have at it hoss. But don't push your ideology onto others, because you are only going to get verbally torn a new asshole.
     
    And to the uber anti-L&Ters: L&T does not mean you need to L&T everything and everyone. Yes, there are silly people out there who swear up and down that you /need/ to follow it, but don't pay them any mind. Ignore-list them if you have to. But the phrase does not need to be abolished, and people who wish to follow the motto--uber or not--are not idiots or band-wagoners or whatever the hell you may have been calling them. So just calm your balls down and let them live their life and you live yours. If you can't handle people who follow the motto for whatever reason, then the ignore-list is your friend. (And pro-L&Ters, this goes for y'all too.)
     
     
    So yeah.
     
    Not a very long rant. This isn't something that bothers me, to be honest. (There is only one thing about this fandom that pisses me off to ungodly amounts of seething anger, but this ain't it.)
    But I've always been intrigued at the odd debates this simple little... motto?... causes. Anyhoo, I apologize for any headaches you may have gotten~

    So, I've jumped on the blog bandwagon.
     
    I've done these things before on Gaia. Except those were called "Journals". (But they were pretty much the same thing~)
     
    Anyhow, what will I use this thing for?
    Rants~ Because I love to rant about pointless shit~ |D
     
    I think this blog thingamajig will be a lovely alternative to having to post in the forums about said rants, because ranting to a proverbial wall is much, much safer than ranting on a thread and then getting yelled at by somebody. > w> Because confrontation scares Wolfie, and makes her go on an ignorelist-spree~
     
     
    So yeah. Pretty much rants will be had up in here. Maybe other things, but I can't think of said things at the moment.
     
    I need to think of something to rant about. And I think I know of a good topic to start with...
    And I better get these rants rolling soon, before they start pushing a fuckton of restrictions onto this place. > n> What? You and me both know it's just a matter of time...
     
    OH! One more thing I should probably mention, in case someone actually decides to read this goofy thing: I am a walking piece of hypocrisy~
    I may say one thing, and suddenly seem to say another, and BOOM!

    I've done it before. So have you. (Probably. Maybe. lol not really, huh?)
