  1. This topic really brought back the memories for me, ever since I could use a computer; I've been registering for forums and chatting with new people. When I was younger, I was a lot more arrogant in my view (on just about everything) and so I usually went onto forums and boasted. I can't recall the first forum, I think it is actually the ancient Nintendo Nsider Forums (can't remember my username but I used to be a huge fanboy of Nintendo)!
  2. I always at least give a slight smile to strangers and wave a bit, I've always thought that is just being cordial myself. Is it a genuine smile, not usually, but I do it to be nice! I'm not normally a guy who smiles all that much, mostly when I make jokes and watch MLP! Seriously, I smile almost the entire episode when I do watch it, it's just irresistibly happy!
  3. Had to vote for Princess Trollestia, I'm sure she was meant as a benign character; but the amount of times she creates circumstances that will inevitably lead to conflict is more than I can count. Maybe it's all by accident, which I assume, but you never know.
  4. Honestly, I'm not too worried. Let's remember that this wasn't ever supposed to become a series with a massive fan-base comprised of thousands young adult men and women; I think we should be patient and let them take their time. I'm not going to cry over half a season because I don't want the team to feel like they have to rush to finish more content.
  5. Welcome to the forums PT . Stay around with us, I hope to see you around and that you have an awesome time and keep up the love and tolerance (I realize I'm not the best at this at times, but hey)!
  6. I've seen plenty of really depressing things, and I'm not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn't played it, but near the end of Silent Hill 2 there is an extremely depressing moment. When I watched that moment, it was the first time, in all of my years playing games, that I cried out of sympathy for the main character.
  7. Fluttershy, who wouldn't want to give her a hug at the end of the day?
  8. Here is mine, it is a fairly minimalist desktop with a few influences I'm sure you will recognize!
  9. What is a shipping? I'm just curious because I've heard the word used over and over again and don't know what it means.
  10. I'll list my top three since, as they say, I live to eat instead of eating to live! 1. Gnocci This is basically a spherical pasta made with either ricotta cheese or potatoes in the center of it. 2. Carrot Cake Self-explanatory for most people, but if you don't know; Carrots, raisins, and other nutritious ingredients baked in a cake and iced with cream cheese frosting. Delicious! 3. Mellow Mushroom Pizza Source: Eat It Atlanta I'll take Mellow Mushroom pizza any day, especially with anchovies! Their crust is incredible and their sauce awesome. If I have any three of those, I know my day is going well!
  11. Definitely go for Timesplitters 2, it is a truly fantastic game and I actually prefer it to the third because of its more old-school style which borrows some from Goldeneye; the third departs from Free Radical's usual style much more than the second. The second, I would argue, also has better multiplayer....and if you can't tell I'm a huge fanboy of Timesplitters in general!
  12. Quite a few of the game I've really enjoyed tend to be underrated or ignored by most gamers, -Timesplitters 2 and 3 -Second Sight -Beyond Good and Evil -Machinarium -Advance Wars series
  13. You could also do a two player walkthrough either competitively or taking turns, just found this and it's pretty awesome!
  14. Do you play any of the mario games? Super Mario and the Lost Levels, for example, is a great game to do a commentary on.
  15. You could also do console games, I love watching commentary walkthroughs on those, especially on harder difficulties!
  16. Enjoyed the video, I remember when I tried QWOP, I made it to about 11 meters and quite as well . Overall, a good and entertaining commentary though
  17. Fluttershy is a great character, I've never felt like she is underrated though. Her adorableness and shy strength clearly attracts a huge fan following from thousands of people like me
  18. Probably Trogdor! What? He's obviously mythological and awesome! Do you have a problem with his magnificence?
  19. Thank you so much MissMachine! I would give yours a 9/10 as well
  20. 10/10, I really enjoy the interesting custom adult pony you have there. Not to mention that the colours of the dress, the glasses, and the hair match quite well . Very intricate and adorably mature.
  21. First, I have to agree DoctorXFizzle; putting these people on display as though they are circus creatures is terrible. Certainly, some of them definitely need help; but that is a private matter. Of course the people know what they are getting into, but it says something about our culture doesn't it? We can hardly resist peaking into people's personal lives and, based on other reality shows, we enjoy seeing suffering and emotional conflict. I think those are two problems with US culture that need to be seriously examined. Honestly, I've seen plenty of explanations for why people love MLP that make much more sense than claiming that it is some sort of negative addiction. Great animation, an overwhelming amount of happiness, and heart-warming lessons are just three things that can cheer up anyone's day.
  22. I personally don't believe in Ghosts, they could exist, I've just not been convinced by the evidence yet. Though there is one Ghost I've heard who is quite angry most of the time.
  23. What really made Silent Hill 2 great for me (given that I have yet to play through all of it but have watched the online play-throughs for some of the game) is that it is really a masterpiece of art. It evokes genuine fear, but more than that you spend the whole game attempting to decipher Silent Hill and James and the storyline is open for interpretation. What other game has that level of depth in it? Silent Hill 2 has to be one of the first games where I genuinely cried in sympathy for the main character!
  24. Yeah, I remember the RE1 remake; that was an amazing game. I still am scared when I play it. But you know what, you can't blame Capcom for RE5's failure completely. Take a look at , it is one of the earlier trailers for RE5; notice that Sheva is missing. Sheva was not supposed to originally be included in RE5, she was only added after offense-baiters accused capcom of racism. That's right, racism. In any case, I've recently started playing the Silent Hill series starting with the second one. If you want your fill of horror game goodness, Silent Hill 2 is, dare I say it, much scarier than the RE1 remake and is also a game with a huge amount of depth that is unparalleled in any other game I've played to date.
