  1. They didn't have much electronic music back in the 70's. I rarely listen to anything other than UK Hardcore and that genre bundle, but when I do, I listen to either classical music, or 50's and early 60's music.
  2. I believe that the show is not targeted towards manly men nor womanly women, and that any and all complex notions put forth by any fan of the show remain to be utter nonsense.
  3. The only reason I ever post images is whenever I'm on some kind of thread like, "What's your internet speed?" to where, you kind of need to post the test results, which is an image. I'm actually getting somewhat annoyed at the fact that everyone's making a big deal out of this character limit. I've been on forums that have 150 character limits, and I have no trouble doing that in any way, shape, or form.
  4. There's my mediocre internet. The thing is, I did multiple tests, to get some kind of "average", because I know my internet speed goes from good, to great, to miserable, to (literally) not even functional on a daily basis. Night time is when my internet is the fastest, but most unreliable.
  5. I am a girl, and I am moderately girly, therefore, I have seen quite a good amount of "girly" shows. One show I remember watching was... Totally Spies. I never really watched all that much television. Now, I simply just watch anime, and my favourites seem to be considered seinen, which is a manga/anime targeted towards men who are around ages 18 - 30. Some of them, though, like K-on, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, and Clannad; seem more girly than they do manly.
  6. The actually stories of movies are too short for me, really. I'm used to 24 episode, 20 minute long each (23 - 25 including the opening and ending) anime series. Movies only get to be up to about... 2 hours long max. A full season of anime is 7 - 8 hours or something like that. Movies just don't seem to offer enough content to really learn from, connect to, or just overall enjoy for me, which is why I haven't watched a movie in over 3 months or something. The only movies that I can really watch are ones like Napoleon Dynamite, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Hot Rod, and other random/pointless movies. I typically do something like draw while watching them, though.
  7. Lulz, let me give you a list of the artists that I listen to. Also, I watch a lot of anime that is just rather unknown. Such as A-channel and Bamboo Blade. I never really find people that have even heard of those titles.
  8. Pinkie Pie, no doubt. That bouncing of hers is remarkably speedy. Rainbow Dash is pretty even with Applejack if her wings are tied down, and Pinkie Pie can keep up with Rainbow's FLYING, which is much faster than how fast Rainbow and Applejack can run. So if Pinkie Pie's running speed is equivalent to Rainbow Dash's flying speed, I think Pinkie would be about a bajilliamillitillion times faster than everypony else.
  9. I remember once I had to help Fluttershy get some kind of yellow plushie of a banana or some kind of banana-shaped... thing before. It lasted for about .0489247 nanoseconds, and I pretty much forgot it as soon as woke up. This topic reminded me about it, though.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijQ8rZpTUKE No matter where you are, you are my lucky star.
  11. I really do not understand why such silly labels would really mean all that much. This spoiler is pretty much exactly how I respond to all things related to and like this topic.
  12. UK Hardcore, Happy Hardcore, J-core, K-core, Frenchcore, and all the other "hardcore" electronic music genres are the best genres. Tomatoes, tomato-based sauces, and everything having to do with tomatoes; is horrible. White font on black text is better. No single colour looks better than any other -- only certain combinations of a variety of colours can overwhelm other combinations of colours. No person on the Earth is either uglier or more gorgeous than another -- we are all boring to the eye. "Breakfast food" is the best food; bacon, egg, and cheese croissants being the best of the best.
  13. The first forum that I joined was http://www.head-fi.org/ It's just a forum about a whole bunch of hipster headphones that are awesome and whatnot. Joined it because I'm interested in music and like quality headphones.
  14. It is a well known fact that a large sum of non-bronies assume bronies (or pegasisters, if you're into that term) to be hypocritical individuals. I've been noticing that it's actually true, at least, for me. I watch a show that pushes the notion of friendship, and take part in a community that (generally) pushes "love and tolerance", whenever I really do not partake in much social interaction, and don't make actual friends, really, and judge and hate many other people based on certain qualities, past events, etc. I'm curious to see how many others are hypocritical in this sense, as I am. Also, if you are like me, why do you think the show captivates you so much? I'd say it's really only the innocence that really motivates me to really stay active in the watching of and participation of the MLP show and community.
  15. The most common compliment I receive is, "You have an unbelievable amount of potential (but you don't try)." which is from just about every adult I've conversed with in my life. From peers, though? The "best" compliment I received from a peer is probably the one time where some guy said to me, "Even though you've got the figure of a 5th grader, I'd still tap dat." I no longer speak to that person. I don't really get many compliments, because I refuse to be that social.
  16. If I take this question literally, I would state that life in its entirety, is a neutral thing. Actions are actions, and do not have any sense of positivity or negativity about them. Most would say a volcanic eruption is a "bad" thing, though, if we were to think in a sense that life is completely meaningless, and all things destroyed are also meaningless, then the eruption remains neutral, which, it really is. Humans have taken it onto themselves to label things are good, bad, ugly, beautiful, etc., while in a non-human way of thinking, these concepts are absolute nonsense. What humans find to be wonderful -- let us say,a piece of art -- a whale does not find any value in. Good and bad are nonsense terms, in the entire universe's reality, but of course, are extremely simple notions that human reality has. Now, if I were to take this question, "Is life beautiful?" in a different manner, then I could say no, life itself is not beautiful. It is simply a cycle that has no true purpose, so it is not "beautiful." I find "life" to be really a rather negative thing, as it, to me, is a waste of time, as I do not believe in any said deity or afterlife. And if I were to take this question as the OP presumed it would be taken by all users, then yes, I do find the many things in life to be absolutely fabulous. I do not like many things, but I can understand why others would, for the most part. And those few things that I do like, I find to be immensely "beautiful." Daily living is always wonderful, as long as you have the mentality to think in such a way.
  17. http://www.typingtest.com/ There you go. Test yourself. Pics or it didn't happen. But really, screenshots are a plus. If you don't know how to take a screenshot on Windows 7 and Vista (sorry XP users), just hit Start > Search "Snipping Tool" and open the program > Click "new" on the window, if it is not enabled already > Drag box in area in which you would like to take a screenshot. This isn't a very fair score for me, as it is my best in a 5-time trial to get the best score. Average, I'd say I'd drop 6 words per minute, but here we go, screenshot. Bam boom bing bop, right down there in the spoiler.
  18. I gave my grandparents (they're my guardians) an "I don't f*ckin' care" attitude about it. Grandmother: "What the hell are you watching." Me: "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." *Laughter* Grandmother: *Rolls eyes with a sigh + smile* Probably a bit easier situation for me, though, because I'm a girl.
  19. Once again, it feels as if my genitals are being abused by the amazing Shingo DJ, which, I do not mind, for he is a man of which who has the utmost swagger in all the lands. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWPVD5ynlJc&feature=relmfu
  20. I won't be able to see my darling, Fluttershy, unless I stay in Ponyville. But then again, I won't be able to see my waifu Octavia if I stay in simple, ol' Ponyville. Ffffff- This thread. It's going to kill me.
  21. I go on YouTube regularly every day, and have not seen any troubles within... forever. The last time I was having troubles is whenever YouTube was transitioning over to their new style of player. The dark grey one?
  22. I got Minecraft back when it was still in development (#Hipster) and I've slowly kind of lost interest in it, to be honest. I found it very fun to begin with, but after a year or so of on and off play, I really just kind of... stopped. I got too bored with it. Though that might be because I have no friends to play it with (#Foreveralone). Also, in regards to how well Minecraft will run - On my laptop, that has a 2.13 Intel P6200 processor, 4GB RAM, the best it can get is about... 22 frames per second with the render distance on normal, and pretty much every excess feature (like smooth lighting) turned off. On my desktop though, it runs perfect fine, though I don't know the specs on that one, and am too lazy to check. So it's your call. Minecraft is probably really fun with friends, but, as I've said, I'm a hermit no life with no friends to play it with, so I wouldn't really know. There's a lot more features in the PC version, but personally, I don't even like them all that much. The 360 version is right at the time period where I liked Minecraft the most, to be honest. I'm also just very weird, so don't take much of my opinions very seriously.
  23. I remember being really bored as a child, (we're talkin' 9 or so years old; not all THAT long ago, I guess) so I began to flip through the Comcast On Demand selections, and I found this place under "The Cutting Edge > Funimation", or something like that. It had some anime in there that at first, I thought was really stupid. But then... I found.. "School Rumble". It's about nothing in particular, just a hilarious slice-of-life, really. I remember trying to sing along to the opening, though I didn't even know what language it was. I didn't know it was a Japanese series, I just kind of liked it for what it was. Then of course, I finished the series after all the episodes were given On Demand, and I ventured onto other anime. Pretty simple story from there. Just got more and more into it after that. Now I've got over a month of time spent watching anime (according to anime-planet.com (it adds up the anime you've watched and gives you the time spent watching anime, pretty legit, lulz)).
  24. Don't feel like giving away my gamertag, since girls seem to get a lot of random friend requests based on the fact that they are indeed female. I've only got a gamerscore of 14025, and I haven't bought an actual xbox 360 disc in about 10 months now. I don't really go achievement hunting unless it's for the hardest difficulty of the story mode/campaign or something like that. Those are the only fun achievements to go after.
