  1. The ending just didn't seem to fit, and felt rushed. If they had added a little more thought, and extended the length of the film, they could have given it some more fluidity. The musical numbers could have been more evenly spaced as well.
  2. Very well put, most artists here don't even get that much recognition. Not to say I think you're selfish for thinking you don't get much praise as of late, as your comment/brohoof rate did decline a lot and that can really upset someone, but there are others who have it a bit worse. Simply by posting about it, loads have flocked here to give you praise; did you ever think that maybe commenters just thought your art was good enough? That others could use the confidence booster a little more than you?
  3. Basically, I suck at storyboarding and storywriting. I've started practicing with my storywriting as someone suggested to me the other day, but I've still got no clue how to do storyboarding and not make it look horrible. I can't come up with creative poses or shots, I just, plainly, suck at it. Infact, should I not get any constructive help I'll probably just give it a rest. Are there any storyboard hobbyists out there? Do you have any suggestions? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Thus far, I have owned, and for the most part still do own: NES SNES Genesis N64 GameCube Wii Playstation Playstation 2 GameBoy GameBoy Color GameBoy Advance GameBoy Advance SP DS DS Lite 3DS I REGRET NOTHING.

  7. I'll see about getting around to that sometime today; thank you for your insight on the subject, and if I ever need someone to preview my work, I think I just might take you up on your offer.
  8. Lately I've been having an enjoyable time writing – on the occasion that I have material to speak about – and have been actively racking my brains in the hopes of coming up with an idea for something to type out. So what do I do? I write a brief blog entry on having zilch to say, that's what. I'm positive that there are a lot of writing hobbyists lurking these forums; it's no use attempting to hide from me. What do you people suggest? Got any tricks of the trade that you're willing to share? I've got an itch in my brain, and my only means of scratching it is writing. P.S. I really like using bold and italics, so, uh, make sure your ideas allow for those. Thanks.
  9. I used to be a 3D CGI artist like you. Then I took a Blender 2.6 update to the knee. Overused Internet memes aside, UV mapping with Blender 2.6 is a really difficult thing to do. No longer can I select multiple faces or groups of verticies. Nope, I have to move each singular vertex one by one. Another issue is rigging and animating in Blender. Just as difficult as my previously mentioned roadblock. If anyone can help me out here, I'd love that. I've found absolutely no solution to these problems anywhere.
  10. I gave this a few tries and may continue to do so, however, results were limited. I did feel a tingling in my hands and feet as that portion of the file rolled around, but besides that, no effects. Either way it was quite relaxing. I also tried signing up on the forums, but a lot of the people there and the way they talked just kind of scared me off. There were some people who had supposedly become "so attatched to their new pony selves" that they were acting completely like said ponies. It was frightening. They'd start posting and gradually start acting like Pinkie Pie, Applejack, etc. as their posts became more recent. Gives me the heebiejeebies.
  11. My NES now loads each game on the first try. Needless to say, I am one happy camper.

To be quite honest, the hardest part is unscrewing the console. Heheh, I followed a YouTube tutorial.

  12. Is the fandom dying? Nope. Will it ever die? Probably not. Fandom noun \ˈfan-dəm\: The state or attitude of being a fan. As long as one person enjoys the show, there will always be a fandom.
  13. Get ready for this. Prepared? We like FiM because, while it may not be the best show on the block, it is still entertaining to some degree. The specific level of entertainment provided varies from person to person, as we are all different, however what entertainment we used to find in shows such as Fairly Odd Parents, Spongebob Squarepants, Foster's Home and Ed, Edd n Eddy are no longer easily found as most of these quality slice-of-life cartoons have either gone to complete shit decreased in quality over the years or been canceled altogether. What does FiM do? Tops the charts in terms of what cartoons are on television today. Everything that has been missing from our favorite toons for years is now was back with the creation of FiM. But what does this mean? I'll tell you what it means. It means that we don't all necessarily think that this show is the best goddamn program we've ever seen. Some of us? Sure, I guess. Me? Certainly not. However, at the same time, it is one of the only cartoons currently that still provides the goods and doesn't resort to crappy poop humor (pun intended) to make itself entertaining. Is that answer good enough for you? Or are you still hungry for more?
  14. Got a new puppy today, she's on her way home from the Humane Society right now. That makes it two dogs in the family.

Mix between a jack russel terrier and some other breed that at the present moment escapes me. She's about four months old, I believe. Name's Lollypop.

  15. My favorite game was my first game, and it'd have to be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64. Ever since I discovered that game via my older brother back when I was only maybe two years old, I've been hooked on the Legend of Zelda franchise along with Nintendo itself.
  16. Just finished up with that oral exam. Holy Hell, I felt like I was about to have a heart attack.

  17. I'm extremely nervous, I've got an over-the-phone oral exam for my online Psychology class soon.

  18. I'm well aware that Mia is dead; I never claimed she would make an appearance alive. Also, I remember reading that when asked about Maya, Yamazaki claimed that she would be training in Kurain Village throughout Ace Attorney 5. It's more than possible that we might visit her, as has been done in the past. After all these years she is more than likely to have perfected her skills as a medium quite a bit, wouldn't you agree?
  19. Ace Attorney 5 looks as though it'll be possibly one of the best games in the series so far. Loving all the new footage and screenshots that have been rolling out. If enough people purchase the digital copy, I'm hoping that Capcom desides to eventually release it physically. Purchasing a game digitally just puts me on edge; If my 3DS is damaged at some point for whatever reason and is rendered unplayable, POOF, there goes my games. As a side note, I'm really hoping that both Mia and Maya make a return in one way or another. We already know that Pearl shows up at one point, though.
  20. LoZ: The Wind Waker, and Super Smash Brothers: Melee. Without a doubt the single two games I played every goddamn day when I still owned my Gamecube. If you're wondering what happened to the little guy, let's just say my step brother thinks he knows what he's doing when he really doesn't. Ended up breaking it. Damn you.
  21. My 72 pin connector came in the mail. Time to finish fixing up that NES.

  22. I confess: Whilst doing my homework, I listen to the Kirby's Super Star version of Gourmet Race.

  23. So, I'm fairly decent at piano. And by that I mean I've been taking lessons for the past two years and I still suck I'll learn a song via sheet music every once and a while said me, never, but I usually try and pick it out by ear before I even think about searching for any sheets. This can be a problem when it comes to the bass portion of the song, as I'll do just fine picking out the rhythm, but when it comes to the bass chords I just give up after a few minutes and resort to playing a double octave. This is also crippling when trying to write my own music. Can any of you more musically talented people out there give me a hand? I have a chord and scale book just sitting around collecting dust, if that'll be of any use I can just whip it out in no time. It hasn't helped me so far, though. [EDIT]: Whatever, not much of a point in asking is there. If a staff member sees this, please close the thread.
  24. Welp, my life is going nowhere. How about you?
