Scale

This is a character I made up a long time ago, but I have such a hard time drawing her. I hope you guys at least enjoy the picture, it took a lot of courage to even put this up on a non scale forum And yes... I know I screwed up her face and side.

I am proud for the many years I have studied dragons, as well as having so many dragon personas over the years. My knowledge of the graceful animals is really important to my heart, and it makes me beyond happy to know just so much! If I would have to be proud of anything else, I would guess making a good first impression on the forum. I'm happy it didn't end it disaster, like the other forums!

I think it would ruin the great community that is already set in place here. I don't want that a day after I join! Hasbro would probably rain hell upon the site, making everything about the new Carebears show or Transformers. You might have to do a survey to change your avatar, or watch a clip to post on a thread. That sounds TERRIBLE.

That was my guess, but I did not want to say for sure without asking first I found mlp because it looked cool, not because of Spike, actually!

While I haven't been here for a substantial time, I can very well say I have strong feelings for this forum. I've been on quite a few forums, and in each occasion when I joined said forum, I was rarely welcomed/and or rediculed. It was very painful, and caused me to be somewhat of an outcast. I thought just about every forum was filled with immature jerks who have nothing better to do than to make others feel bad for their own enjoyment. Then, not 2 hours ago, I joined this forum, and was welcomed instantly by so many people. I honestly did not expect it in the slightest. And not only did they welcome me, but they also talked to me. Right after, I went to a metal thread. Instead of being rediculed, I was welcomed there was well. Then I see a "review" by a user name Dragonshy about this forum. I cannot agree with him more. The community that this place has is something extremely special, I can already see that. I am very proud to be apart of something like this for once. Expect to see me here a long time, as I have never felt welcomed like I have on this very forum. That is what I love about this forum. You guys. Thanks for making a newbie feel welcome!

It may say review, but it also says "of the sort". I'm guessing the thing he was going for was showing the positive side, like in a critique, but not showing the negatives. It would actually be called an appreciation thread, though! Either way, it doesn't distract from the thread being awesome!

I am listening to this as we speak. I had my speakers turned to a high volume on accident, so the beginning scared the living hell out of me. But dang, this is amazingly nice. I am digging the singers voice.

That is a very nice choice! For myself, I would be choosing "And then there was Silence" just for the pure epic that it truly is. With all the instruments playing at once, you cannot focus on a single beat, which keeps you riding the wave of music the entire way through.Night at the Opera is may favorite as well!

As I have been lurking throughout the forum for a good... hour or so, I can agree on many of these points. I have been throughout many forums throughout my long treks through the depths of the internet, and this place seems like the greatest of them all. A diamond in the rough, if you will. Allow me to explain: The moment I joined, I was welcome by so many kind people, a gift I have never recieved from anywhere but here. It fills my heart with joy to see such nice people on a forum, and even more to see that most people act the exact same way! Not merely moments ago, I posted in "Crispy's Metal Thread" to post a band I quite enjoy, and expected to be rediculed by it. Instead, I was welcomed into the thread, and welcomed to share my tastes in music. Again, I have never felt this gift before. I may have a lot to learn about this forum, that much is for sure. But as of now, I can agree with Dragonshy. This forum is a wonderful, wonderful place, and the community makes it shine even brighter! Thanks for reading!

Forgive me, I have just joined, and am kind of worried to make anyone hate me within moments of joining! I've posted some Blind Guardian before on other forums, and I was actually rediculed for my tastes. Nice to see such diversity on this forum however! I wish I was into more types of metal, which is why I am now following this thread!

It's absolutely wonderful to meet another Blind Guardian fan for once! You wouldn't believe how unknown they are on other forums, it is quite upsetting! What would be your favorite song or album by them?

I saw this section, and I just had to post in it. Forgive me if it is not to your taste, my purpose isn't to offend! But one of the best bands I have ever had the honor of listening to is Blind Guardian. I believe they are a Power Metal band, but they have some soft songs as well. I am not an expert in this genre, so if you guys could explain to me exactly what it is, it would be much appreciated! My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Pinkie Pie How did you find MLP Forums?: I guess I have to start at the beginning. Well, I used to venture around many forums, all in which ended up in turmoil and hate. The users in each were incredibly rude to anyone they did not meet, and it just always ended up in discomfort. The latest forum I was on (Let's keep it anonymous) had a civil war, and I was one of the people who decided to leave before things got too bad. I googled up this forum (by putting in mlp forum, no doubt!), and decided to join. I found that the layout here is wonderful, and everything is very well organized. Props to whoever made this place! How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Well, I guess it would have to start over on a different forum, where pony pictures began to pop up like wild fire. I of course was confused as to why people were obtaining such odd obsessions such as ponies, so I decided to check it out, as I am always a sucker to try new things. I instantly grew attached to the little fluff ball Pinkie Pie, as she so reminds me of myself. I continued to watch for episodes more, and grew hooked. I would say I am a new brony, as I only joined the fandom mere weeks ago. I hope it doesn't make me a bad user here or anything! Hmm... well something about myself. Well then... My name is Kevin, and I absolutely love Dragons. I would honestly say it has become an obsession over the years, although that sounds quite silly whenever I type this on a forum that does not call for them For many years I have been in love with just the whole basis of dragons, and what they stood for. Power, valor, might, all of the things that make them so very majestic. So many years ago, I decided to join a forum all about dragons. I was scarred from the severity of the people on said forum, so I continued to move onward. I admit, I have been on quite a few good forums, but they always fall into turmoil just when it seems nothing can go wrong. As for my homelife, I would say that it is rather good. I am not always on my laptop, as I love to study dragons in my freetime, or draw. Reading is one of my hobbies, as well as playing video games. As of now I only own an xbox 360, but I hope to buy a new system very soon. Recently, I told my parents of my bronyness (Forgive me for that horrible pun!), and they couldn't care less, thank the gods. I guess they are already used to their weird sone for his dragons, that ponies do not seem very far off!
