Mountain Dew Voting Edit - They've Been Hacked.
Book replied to Hazardus_Havard.'s topic in General Discussion
If this is the case than 4chan faces inevitable annihilation. They better think of something to do and fast because the users on their site are only allowing the idea of internet censorship to sound better and better by the day. -
Any recommendations for decent Fics to read?
Book replied to Alleviate's topic in AK Yearling's Writing Resources
Paradise, Octavia Takes the Buss, Ponies Play D&D, Mind Jack, And the Temptress Came Unto Her. These are only a few and most of these are 20,000 words. Paradise on the other hand is like 90,000+- 45 replies

Mountain Dew Voting Edit - They've Been Hacked.
Book replied to Hazardus_Havard.'s topic in General Discussion
One of the biggest arguments that supports internet censorship is the fact that people who run sites such as 4chan do a poor job of trying to take care of things that should have been taken care of. I do blame 4chan for not stepping in when they should have and deleted that whole thread that planned the attack on the Mountain Dew site. Further more they need to do this to any future posts that threaten to attack other sites. If site moderators did this more often then we wouldn't have to worry about the government stepping in when they know we can take care of ourselves. -
Mountain Dew Voting Edit - They've Been Hacked.
Book replied to Hazardus_Havard.'s topic in General Discussion
I know that it is something very simple to freak out over but the idea behind it is still very clear. When men watch the world burn they see themselves as people who are challenging the world to a laugh off. He who laughs last laughs best and in this case the men watching a company struggle and begin to hate the internet are laughing. This isn't over and the Mountain Dew company is now more likely to lean more towards supporting internet censorship. In the end when the people involved with these actions gets all of our rights stripped away by the actions of a few the mountain dew company will be laughing last. -
I never really liked WWE but I have never gone out of my way to say that it is gay or stupid. People have their own interests which means they have their own preferences on entertainment. People just need to respect that just because something isn't entertaining or appealing to them doesn't give them the right to condemn the whole thing entirely and flame other people for liking what they don't like.

MLP: FiM abridged series' - Which is the best?
Book replied to Alleviate's topic in Sugarcube Corner
If I had to choose one it would defiantly be friendship is witchcraft. They are very creative when it comes to making an abridged series of MLP. For starters the dialogue is always a treat and what makes it better is that there are subtle jokes in each episode. They also have original songs that I always find my self singing every now and again. Pinkie's Brew, Princess of the Night, and Gypsy's Bard to only name a couple. -

Yes I think that this is going to be a new fad whether people like it or not. I just want people to be prepared for other people to start saying that this is dumb/annoying. To those people I am going to preemptively tell them to speak for themselves.

I have seen tumblrs such as the moon stuck tumblr but I have never actually made an account on tumblr. It just seems like such a foreign thing to me however I am pretty sure that if I gave it the chance I would probably add it to one of the things I do on the internet.

This is a pretty good representation of what I like most about cold weather. Being indoors feels so cozy and all the worlds problems seem to melt away when you sit down and enjoy a nice hot refreshment. The effect is amplified when you wear your favorite sweater and you just feel like a warm toasty cinnamon bun.

I appreciate being around people who can cut loose and act immature to have fun however it does have its boundaries. I also like hanging around people who do act mature. Mainly because I like to have simple mature conversations with people that normally end up dabbing into the deep and heart felt subjects that are a joy to talk about sometimes.

Well I for one was not aware that this would be considered a problem. People will like and dislike different sources for their pony news and entertainment. There are many sites that offer different ways of handling pony related topics and content that some people may prefer over others. So I guess what I am trying to say is that it is more of a "do you prefer it or not" situation.

I can help you with singing and vocal work. I would like to sing however it is up to the people who listen to me to tell me whether it is good or not though most people say I sound good.

This is a very good question. One of which I actually don't have an answer to. This rarely happens but I guess it is something I am going to do research on here directly so I can actually get you an answer. It appears that fangirls have a sexual attraction to the boy bands they are fangirling about. It seems that they also put themselves into some sort of pretend world where they see themselves with this boy and actually believe that this boy will love them forever. It is curious to note that this seems to also be linked with a very primitive instinct which is to hitch yourself with someone who is successful. Money and power is very attractive to some people especially when you are young. It is also worth noting how the band is portrayed through their music videos. If you pay attention you will see that they are being marketed in a very specific way to the fans. This means you can find your answer as to why girls fangirl about their bands if you observe their music video at a business stand point. There is a formula they keep and they will continue to dish it out as long as it works.

Your opinion/reaction to teens react to MLP and brony haters?
Book replied to PonyPowaX1000's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I have said this many times and I think it still holds true. I will not, can not, and should not try to convince the "haters" that the brony community is not what they perceive it to be. Even if we give them statistical evidence that supports our claims that we are not all gay the haters will then turn it around and say that we are a bunch of confused heterosexuals. When a hater makes their opinion vocal they have to stand by their guns. Any time after that if they show the slightest hint of their arguement weakning or that they actually like the show people will ridicule that person because of his past opinion which is something the haters don't want. Ultimately this means people get stuck in internet combat with people who are hell bent on not budging a single centimeter. People really need to learn to ignore people. It is something that is said so much that it has become something cliche but it is the dead truth "ignore the haters". If no one comments on their opinions then they will know no one cares about them. -

I think you have the right idea when it comes to cake. Just add some twilightlicious then finish it off with some sparkle sparkle. Then bam you get this glorious cake.

I didn't read my little dashie mainly because I don't read fanfiction that has Human as a tag. I don't want to read about someone's self plug into the world of ponies let alone what they would do with a pony entering our world. I will still most likely watch this film and probably for the most part like it, but it will still not make me read people's self plug fanfiction.
