So, yeah.

I'm amazed there's not a thread about them yet.

They're my favorite band of all time, and I'm sure everyone in here has heard about them. Right?

So, who likes them?

It's hard to come up with only five songs, so I will just put my favorite of all time:

Let It Be - The Beatles

The song that introduced me to them, and a real masterpiece.

See, the reason why MLD is overhyped and overrated, it's because people most people relate to the guy in the fic.

No life, sad, pathetic, no friends, etc, who has nothing else but FiM.

One day, outta nowhere, he finds a pony. Woot, the dream of every brony: getting a pony!

So, yes, in the end, the reader finds himself self-inserting to that guy, and he goes all weepy eyes when Dash is taken back.

Mere wish of fulfillment fic. "I wish I had a pony to love IRL"

Very overrated, but hey, it's the people who decided to make it what it is now, not aware of the loads of better pieces of fanfiction out there.

I really find this to be rather sad.

Sad that people are actually going this far for a simple fanfic like MLD.

But hey, if they want to go with it, that's cool.

I think MLD is sad only for the sad brony who relates with the guy of the story.

It's a bit of wish of fulfillment and self-insert from the reader.

And there are plenty, plenty of sadder and better fanfics out there.

I'm DeiStar, and obviously, I'm new here.

I joined because... uh... I like FiM.

I guess I should tell you some things about myself.

I'm from Mexico, and I like writing fanfiction. You might have read some of my work.

There are also things I dislike, for example, the sometimes ridiculous fanon people give to ponies. In example: Lyra obsessed with humans or hands, Vinyl being a dubstep fan, etc.

As for musical preferences, I don't like any brony music, at all.

My favorite group of all time is The Beatles. If you don't know who they are, shame on you, filly.

So, yeah.
