Ide love to see Big Mac, Hoity Toity, Fancy Pants, Braeburn, Pip, and Soarin (with his Wonderbolts uniform) brushables.

 

Why no horn ring and they shouldve made his crown look a little more masculine cuz it looks a lot like Celestia's.

 

Because Hasbro puts in about 80% effort in making it match with the show (now that adult fans have complained so much). I just set him up like he came, so

Open it and then start a big collection and have them all lined on a shelf or something, that's what I would do

AGH. HE MUST lose the crown. THAT makes him look too girly. However, I'm loving the giant styling version of Shining Armor. HE HAS A MOHAWK XD (Or should we call it a Bro-hawk? )

 

Yeah, the fashion style is cool, as is the mohawk. I'm just not sure why they picked that when his mane looks nothing like that... at least Zecora does actually have a hawk, lol.

So I'm glad to see that the brushable toys are no longer restricted to only female characters, thanks to Shining Armor. The mold is already made, and the mane (although a bit weird looking on Shining Armor) does look masculine and would work perfectly for Big Mac. He should be next! (in my opinion)

Its entirely a preference thing. Some people like opening their collectables, some don't (as this thread clearly shows). In terms of reselling collectables to get new ones, that's something I don't understand personally. Collectables are to collect... so why would you sell them? Unless it's not something you really want, I suppose.

Basically, do whatever you want XP

From what I've seen the Comic Con Derpy is the largest pony size, like that of Fashion Style ponies.

Here are the 3 sizes (Fashion Style is largest, brushable is middle, and blindbag is smallest.)

My secret (not so secret) lifelong goal is to become a cyborg in some way. Really any technology that is always on my person and can't be left at home counts in my book. But seriously though, I want to be a cyborg SO bad.

First I got was Rarity... I really like the way they did her mold. It's very Rarity

Where can I get blindbags? Am I able to get them at small stores like ollies? Or just big stores like Kmart and Target.

 

I've only ever seen them at Target and Toys R Us.

I buy ponies when I get the chance, I might have to go with Twilight when I buy my next one, but if they have Trixie and Twilight I will buy both. Over all I actually want people to know I'm a brony.

 

Some stores are starting to have Trixies (along with Lyra, Sunny Rays, and Cherry Berry). I found a Lyra at Target

Thanks so much everyone for your opinions! I have to say, the more I buy toys the less embarrassed I feel. I realized that really they don't care, and I shouldn't either. The thing that sometimes makes me a little uneasy is when I see/get the same cashier because I go to the same store too much... but that's just me making sure I'm there when the Nightmare Moon set gets to my Toys R Us!

I was just curious how people felt when going to a store to buy pony toys, and if it was embarrassing for anyone. I know the shirts at Hot Topic and the trading cards are really meant for bronys/pegasisters, but what about buying the toys? Particularly when going to a toys only store like Toys-R-Us?

I got a dirty look from a mother once, who's daughter wasn't even looking at pony toys. Also one time a male cashier started talking to me about ponies while I was checking out... He told me he was a brony. He was pretty excited to meet a pegasister I guess, lol.

My rarest piece I guess would be my Lyra, Sunny Rays, and Cherry Berry... Mostly because they're not out everywhere yet Hasbro isn't selling them online until August 30th.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I first became aware of MLP from an awesome PMV on YouTube, which got my friend into watching it. She showed it to me and I've been loving it ever since!

Although I'd definitely want Applejack to be my BFF, I'm most like Twilight Sparkle. And Big Mac is my favorite of all ponies

I love collecting G4 pony toys! I like the brushables for their cuteness, and the blind bags for their accuracy (usually... Why give 5 of main 6 their own mold, and not poor Fluttershy???). I'm so excited for the 3 sets.. I want a Photo Finish!

I also enjoy styling the hair of my extra ponies (typically to make them more canonical). Here's some examples of what I've done.

I notice people mention Wal Mart for toys. I don't know what Wal Marts they're going to but the Wal Marts I've been in haven't had any good toys. It really depends on your preferences though.

 

I imagine the stock certain stores carry depends on their demand. Generally speaking, going to larger Targets/Walmarts is going to give you more selection. I've also found that going to stores near malls (down the road or in the same area) tend to have a lot more selection.

Also, Walgreens on occasion have the Fashion Style ponies, and if you live near a large grocery store with a baby/toy isle, there are sometimes single figures near there. I saw a Rainbow Dash & Pinkie Pie keychain in a grocery store once too.

I know this kind of thing is likely overdone but I just wanted to share my new stuff with you guys!

Also this is what I bought recently...

I really wanted to get the whole wedding set together... but of course they didn't make a Bridle Friends Applejack and Rainbow Dash, so I improvised. The dresses/hair clips they're wearing are from the Crystal Princess set with Cadance, Luna (Cadance-sized!!!), and pink Celestia. The blue one is Luna's, and the yellow one Cadance's. Luna or Celestia didn't wear anything in the show so I took everything off of them (they're in the back).

I love the eyes! You did such a good job . I actually like to style extra ponies I get in sets, and found a wonderful guide on deviant art. http://browse.devian...al=1&q=kawaiimo (Part 1 is for set-up and bangs, Part 2 is curls/twists). The method really works great... the simmering water+ice water shocking technique really gets it to stay and doesn't risk melting the hair as much. For straight hair, just brush it out and leave it somewhere to dry where it can be straight. Look at Twilight Sparkle or Fluttershy in part 2 for best advice. Just to show you how well this technique works, here's a pic of my custom Cadance with some curls I did.
