  1. -What kind of fly likes butter? : A butterfly -The protagonists of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is the MANE six (well who doesn't know that?)
  2. I think to myself all the time. I'm sure lots of people do this, but then my thoughts are kind of like "Inception" thoughts within thoughts. False/unreal situations enter my mind all the time and I think about thinking about what I'm thinking. Sounds kind of confusing, but yeah, it is. To ellaborate more, it is like talking to myself in my mind then I reply but at the same time being subconciously aware that someone else is watching me when I'm all by myself. I have trouble sleeping next to a loud pendulum clock. When it goes tick tock tick tock vice versa etc etc a random beat enters my mind and I subconsciously improv to it. Another thing I do is that I whistle all the time. I'm sure lots of people do this, but I whistle day and night in the shower or in bed. I have this trick where I can whistle very soft, kind of like a muted whistle, but still sounds good. I would just do that if others tell me to stop whistling.
  3. I agree completely, especially for the bigger evil. It is no big deal telling someone that you watch a cartoon. It is not the same as confessing that you do drugs or have raped a young girl off the street. This is a CARTOON which in many aspects is positive and is in no way going to hurt this world and certainly isn't going to bring it to an end. Another thing is that if someone can't get over not being able to let others know that they watch a cartoon, then they would have a lot of trouble with other people later on. What I mean by this is that it's no big deal letting some others know that you watch MLP, but if you don't even have the courage to do that then there will be many other things in life that you may not be able to handle due to a lack of confidence etc. It's more than fine to have some people hate on you(haters) but just let them be. There is never going to be a world where everyone agrees with you or likes you, so being able to let insults go is a good thing to do.
  4. 1. "Do you watch MLP: Fim?" 2. "Do you really like watching MLP: Fim?" If both answers are a yes, then we have ourselves a brony. As for the second question, it would probably be a yes, but it depends on what I'm trying to accomplish for humanity.
  5. I would like the game to be some sort of adventure/quest/action-esque video game. Stuff like trying to find the elements of Harmony, and missions which relate to the show such as a magic duel with Trixie or fighting Discord. The game should also be available on many different gaming consols too.
  6. I learned that the world didn't end... Just kidding I always knew that. In 2012 I learned that I wasn't putting enough effort in my schoolwork (far from enough) even though I thought I was putting effort. A new year has been provided for me to improve my school grades and raise them I will. I also learned that my history teacher is a hardcore Star Wars fan and uses references from the original trilogy in his lectures all the time, which is awesome. Another thing I learned was that MLP has started airing in Taiwan (in mandarin/Chinese). For my winter/Christmas/holday/ break I went back to Taipei, in Taiwan. We went to a Toys'R'Us and I saw that there was a section selling MLP brushables (no blindbags spotted as of yet) and on one of the shelves was a very small television screen, playing the first episode of MLP. When I heard it was in Chinese, I was quite shocked, because I never thought that there would be a version of MLP in Chinese. This was largely due to the large difference in grammar mechanics between English and Chinese. However I did some research on this Chinese version of MLP, and watched a bit of the episodes myself (only the first 2 are out). The voices sounded like the characters, and the translations for the names were pretty good, better than I expected.
  7. I spent a long time reading every post here, and all I can say is to try out the things that the others suggested. Also, this probably explains your parent's personalities/situation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denialism From the examples I've read, your parents seem to have a difficult time accepting something that is new/foreign to them. There isn't much else for me to say but to KEEP CALM AND BRONY ON and good luck!~
  8. My number would be 7. It has been my lucky number for sometime now. Hope I win! Also, use this website: http://www.random.org/ Set your limits to 0-100 Good luck enjoy~
  9. Fun has been doubled, huh? How about some more: http://www.welovefine.com/4226-fun-and-fun.html Anyways, welcome!
  10. For me it's the old gameboy mario games, and the first Super Smash Bros on Gamecube. I spent many many hours in my young childhood playing these games with my brother, dad and friends, especially for Super Smash Bros.
  11. On school days, I go to bed at around 11 pm and try to fall asleep before 12. That way, I can get at least 7 hours of sleep, which is my minimum requirement to stay awake. On holidays I usually stay until 1 or 2 and wake up a little before lunch time. In other words there are many days during holidays in which my breakfast is my lunch.
  12. Phones and other devices need to recharge after a day of being used. This is the same with us. After a whole day our energies are drained and we need to 'recharge' ourselves, and get ready for the next day. Also on other note, I love sleeping. Everytime I sleep I have a hard time waking up, and it gives me more energy. However, IF we didn't need sleep, doesn't that mean we have more time to do other things, such as homework, etc? Or would we use that extra several hours to procrastinate? I think the latter would apply to lots of people.
  13. Ok here goes. -Flies: Extremely annoying, had some around the house the last few months -My allergies: Had allegies all my life and it feels crap having a runny nose or a blocked nose all the time -Haters with really bad grammar Thats all folks.
  14. I would spend around 200 dollars for myself. It could be new clothing, MLP merch, Legos, diecasts etc. I would use the rest for my robotics team at school, as we are still short on some parts.
  15. When I first became a brony, I told a friend on skype how I keep watching this pony show and it's suprisingly addicting. He was all like "lol" and laughy about that but didn't ask any questions, and probably forgot about it by now. 3 other friends of mine know that I watch MLP, but they don't know that I'm a brony simply because they're not familiar with the term. My brother knows I'm a brony, and he's neutral about it. I forgot how I told him, but he used to be a slight hater. I told him the positive aspects of the show, and he was fine with them. Took him a little while to get used to the idea that his brother(me) watches a pony show though. Now my next mission is to tell my dad, because I'm dying for MLP merch(my 2 only blindbags got stolen this summer, as the entire bag that it was in got stolen). He knows that I watch Adventure Time, which at first glance looks like a kiddie's cartoon. But like MLP, they both have a large adult audience. I could tell my dad that millions of grown men watch this show and collect the toys as well. Another possibility for me to get some merch would be a shirt from WeLoveFine on my birthday. Since my mom orders things online frequently, she would be the one to buy it for me (if my school grades satisfies her). I can just tell her that it's from a cartoon I watch, and chances are that she wouldn't ask any questions, and would be easier than telling my dad. If all goes well, I would be wearing "20% Cooler" on my chest However, grades come first, as I'll have to somewhat deserve the shirt.
  16. My favorite villain would be Discord. The episodes he was in were great, and chaotic Equestria is best Equestria. Voice acting was great as well.
  17. I haven't done anything to hurt anyone very badly so far, but I do have pretty evil/con/criminal thoughts once in a while. For instance, thinking of the most effient way to rob a groccery store, rob a toy store, etc. Recently I've been on the underground metro in Taipei, Taiwan. The ticket onto the metro is a plastic coin which you have to pay for. At your destination, you slide the coin into a machine which opens a small gate for you to pass. On the train, I made plans on how to counterfeit the coins, or just jump over the gates before leaving the subway since the gates are so low anyways. This way I can keep the coin and use it for the metro another time. Also, in GTA, I'm a merciless killer. Sometimes when I have time I play GTA Liberty City Stories on my PSP. Unlike my brother, I don't even complete the missions. I just do weapon/health/car cheats and cause genocide. I play like that until I'm wanted big time by the cops, then I eliminate them and steal their car, and go anywhere the map permits me to go. I sound like a dangerous guy, but I'm actually really nice (just ask anyone who knows me, especially other parents) and I would never harm anyone in real life. I guess I just have strange thought Strange evil thoughts...
  18. I got: -Green laser pointer -2 Nerf guns, a Nite Finder and a Maverick Rev-6 -A small diecast Apache helicopter made by Siku diecast/toys -A jacket (it was free because it was a leftover from my dad's factories) -A plushie of Jake from Adventure Time My original want for Christmas was Buckycubes (they are like Buckyballs but are cubes). I went to Toys'R'Us with my family and I couldn't find the Buckycube magnets. I did however see MLP toys. I really wanted to get a standard size brushable Lyra pony, but since I didn't want to explain bronyism and such to my dad, I decided that I'll get it some other time. By the way, I realized that in Taiwan (where I'm currently at) there is a Mandarin/Chinese version of MLP: FiM ! They only have the first two episodes, and I watched one of them. The translations weren't too bad, and neither were the voices. To wrap things up, my Christmas gifts so far aren't so bad, but I really want to get a MLP merch to satisfy my needs.
  19. I know that many bronies don't like the previous generations (especially 3.5 I think) but I agree that being all pushy and negative about it is just bad. Not being open minded about other people's interests is just going against the ethics of Friendship is Magic. If you have negative thoughts about the previous generations, keep them to yourselves or don't bloat it out loud. If someone is a fan of the previous generation and you tell them that their terrible, then that someone is no better than a hater telling a brony to stop watching MLP because its a terrible show. Works like that if you think about it. Also, thank you for posting this. I think us bronies need a reminder to 'Love and Tolerate' once in a while.
  20. I pick up and eat anything that I drop unto the ground if it is there for a very short moment. Once, in the 5th grade I found a small nerd candy that was under my desk at school for 4 weeks, and ate it. It was more sour than usual, but it was still a nice treat. Another time during science class in middle school, I ate M&M's that was on a petri dish from a experiment, and once again, it was a neat little treat. The moral: Just eat and enjoy
  21. I believe in aliens. In our galaxy alone, there are more planets than there are stars, and many are in zones suitable to support Earth-like life. Well, of course there could be very different kinds of like anywhere. Some time ago I read this article on how Saturn's rings could contain a form of "weird life". Scientists cannot make conclusions about this find, as in the same article they stated how scientists aren't even sure how to define life! In other words, we are lucky to be able to think and do things, and we should all make good use of that.
  22. Man, it's very difficult for me to select my weirdest recent dreams. I always have dreams for many hours in my sleep, and I have dreams in my sleep about 61/62 days in a 2 month period. Anyways, my latest dream was that me and a friend of mine were in charge of a very deep and very very massive underground cavern project. I'm not sure whether it was a theme park or a facility because there were lots of large pipes coming in and from the walls of the cavern. There was a lake in the cavern, and the water was pale blue/white/cave water/etc. There were two massive ships floating on the lake. I forgot why, but my friend and I had to retrieve something from the water, and we had to swim to get it. The water was so deep, the ships and cavern were so big, it was kind of scary. I remember that in this other moment in the dream I had to go to another sector of the cavern, but it was so dark I was freaked out. Apparently many people in my school were there too... My weirdest dream ever might be this: I was in a typical guys bathroom, with urinals and all. The whole scene was kind of in a D.C comic style, kind of drawn, kind of animated. There was green slime everywhere, and several sinks, each with a mirror of its own. There were monsters in the mirror, moving, looking at me... Then I woke up. Up till today, I haven't had the slightest clue why I dreamt that. The true reason why I never forgot this dream is probably because several months later, I had the EXACT SAME dream again! Very strange. All the little details, the dirty bathroom, the monsters in the mirrors. I've had many other dreams which were continuous, or took place in the same locations. Once I was in this large themepark like place in one dream, and then later there again in another dream for a different reason. I recognized the place, as it is vaguely similar to a place I go to in real life. I can go on about my dreams forever since I dream so much. But here you go, 'my weirdest dreams of late'! (BTW the grammar of this thread's title is written in a somewhat Tolkien manner ex: "days of old")
  23. -Smartness is sometimes something you are born with. There are kids at school who don't seem to put a lot of effort into their work, and score very high grades, or learn a new concept very quickly. -What my mom told me: "If someone understand something and you haven't, put 3 times the effort and time into it and there's no way you are still not able to understand." -Once at school, I heard a math teacher talking to a parent. She told the parent something like "if smart kids don't put effort in their work or slack off, eventually they will become dumb/mediocre." -Of course, people are smart in different things, and have minds that function differently from others. What I'm trying to say here is that 1. If your mind isn't as sharp as others at something, try until it is, then exceed. 2. Smartness at something can come in hand when used properly. If not used, it can go away. You can't rely solely on talent of being gifted. You still have to try and practice. As they say, "practice makes perfect". 3. Being gifted means you have potential, but you don't really know what you can do with it unless you do something with it. Also, you can't be born with knowlege. It is something you have to obtain. 4. Use your brain! : D
  24. I am generally happy with myself, and very happy with my school life, regular life, family and friends. Although the world is progressing, there are still so many problems with the world. I think one of the most serious problems would be racism. B*llshit happens such as wars and slaughter just because some people look different than others -_- People today should watch Hearths Warming Eve and learn how to deal with those unlike themselves!!!
