  1. . . Luna is mine. . . On that note, I'll list some characters that I love. Not necessarily crushes, because some of them would be wierd... -L from Death Note -Liz Thompson from Soul Eater -Lucy/Nyuu from Elfen Lied (Wow, just noticed how many of them start with "L") -America and Italy from Hetalia -Twilight Sparkle -Slenderman/Slendercolt (I like Smashie ^^ http://the--cloudsmasher.deviantart.com/) That's all I can think of right now...
  2. Yep. I basically just use what I have, which happens to be a ton of Bionicle pieces. I'm not a hardcore MOC'er like Rahiden or Retinence (some of my favorites) but I do try to make some nice stuff. I try to incorporate raw LEGOs as often as possible.
  3. Oh boy... I'm gonna have to join in on this one. More of a Bionicle MOC'er myself, but I'm assuming that still counts. All LEGOs are created equal, right? I have a ton of Bionicles in my stash, but I was disheartened when they ended the line. Hero Factory just doesn't seem to allow as much creativity as Bionicle did.
  4. Well I'll try to throw my .02 in here in as civil of a manner as I can manage. I see a recurring theme here, being that Twilight is often associated with atheism because she's extremely interested in the pursuit of knowledge (most notably her scientific endeavors). I'll be quite honest and say that this stereotype makes me a bit agitated. I know that this thread wasn't meant to start a debate, and I won't try to. But I'm a straight A, academically focused student currently enrolled in the most advanced classes offered at my grade level, and I'm also a strong believing Non-Denominational Christian. It's just some food for thought, so if you feel the need to argue with me, please message me rather than clutter up the thread. Anyways, I won't bother categorizing the mane 6 into religions, mainly because a lot of times people's personalities don't really reveal a lot about their religious preferences. However, I do believe that Twilight learned a lot about having faith in the episode "Feeling Pinkie Keen". Now, based on her speculative view of Pinkie's behavior, I would venture to guess that Twilight could have been agnostic. Whether or not the events of the episode yielded a religious conversion is subject to speculation. TL;DR: Atheists aren't the only smart ones, and Twilight definitely learned the value of faith in "Feeling Pinkie Keen".

    movies/tv 007 : Skyfall

I thought 007 Skyfall was very good; I enjoyed the action, comedy, and plot. I have never seen any of the other Bond movies, but I have to say, I'm pretty much hooked. Plus, there were lots of guns for me to identify (something I do in almost every movie I see that involves firearms.) I also have to say that I really want a Walther PPK now. And I'm going to start dressing like Q now...
  6. My best pony-buying story: My friend Carl and I were hanging out one day, and we decided to look for blind bags at Walgreen's. After looking through the entire box's pinholes, we finally found a normal Twilight Sparkle (for me) and a sparkly Rainbow Dash (for him). Being two teenage guys, we thought of an ingenious plan for fooling the cashier (an old lady). We picked up two Monster energy drinks and took them over to be rung up. We said we were getting some pony toys for my little sister, and we wanted to make sure we got her favorite ponies. "That's very sweet of you boys," she said. "I'm sure she'll like that." "I'm sure she will," I replied. And "she" certainly did. The total came up to be about 75 cents more than we had on hand, so we asked for the cashier to hold the Rainbow Dash for us (yes, we had to check the pinhole right in front of her) while we ran home and got the change. She agreed, and we did just that. The end.
  7. I think I'm going to bet on October 10, 2012. The circumstances seem to point to episode 1 being released on the same day S1E1 aired... Coincidence? I think not.
  8. Well thank you! It'd sure be neat to play airsoft with some more bronies, I've actually found about 20 bronies from only 4 airsoft forums. Who knows how many others there could be? SniperJake is also one of my pals that plays airsoft; I met him through an airsoft forum, and we actually got together and had a blast playing airsoft about a month ago.
  9. Thanks for the welcoming posts guys! Yep, science is awesome. (That sketch is fanart for a band, don't know if you saw the description. Pretty weird, yes, but it's also one of my favorite albums. I don't know why they chose it, but I like it. haha) Aerial~Shot, looks like we have some things in common! lol
  10. Maybe I'm a little to optimistic, but perhaps they've finished season 3 and are working on season 4/ a movie? A movie could quite possibly be the most awesome thing ever. And maybe a head start on season 4 would lead to a smaller time gap in between seasons 3 and 4? Optimistic thinking never hurt anyone. Probably.
  11. Hmmm... Nope. The name's not ringing a bell. lol Nice to see you're on here too. I guess it's yet another place where we can take cover.
  12. Hey there! My alias is OfTheLion, and it's pretty much what I go by on all websites. I started watching MLP:FiM in the beginning of 2012, and I was immediately hooked. I've really been more of a lurker on a lot of pony-related sites, but I figured I'd finally join one. I try to find other bronies on the websites I participate in; however, this is not always welcome. I play airsoft as one of my main hobbies, but I also enjoy art (http://0fthelion.deviantart.com), engineering and science, DIY, and of course, ponies. My favorite ponies are Twilight, Fluttershy, Princess Luna (From Luna Eclipsed), and Derpy, and my OC is an alicorn. (not because I lack creativity, but because it fits with my backstory that I've been brainstorming.) I hope to get to know some of you fillies and gentlecolts soon. Ofthelion
