Dash isn't in the wonderbolts yet, we can debate all we want about why, but she isn't there yet

Fluttershy is the best with animals that we've seen, but we haven't seen anyone else with her talent

Same with pinkie

It's clear rarity is getting to be better known but she still has to impress high up people

Twilight is probably the best with magic or at least close, but again the only other present day person who specializes in magic is trixie and it should be fairly obvious that twilight dwarfs her ability

So they're all talented, but I wouldn't call them the best

They are either canterlot style snobs that she is rebelling against or hardcore daredevils who she is almost suicidally trying to impress, at least in my mind. I bet they look cool though

I can only really picture Applejack becoming one for now. As for what ifs and in the future,

Twilight would make a pretty good mom, she might have to respect that her child has different interests than her interests though and learn to accept a bit of chaos .

I think Dashie would do well eventually too, she would have to learn to put her child before herself but after that she'd be fantastic. Her teaching it to fly would be the cutest thing ever.

Applejack is effectively a mom right now, but I think she would have to adapt a bit to dealing with her child. That said, she'd be wonderful .

Pinkie might be the only mom in history that was more high-energy than her kid . After a little while I think she'd do fine.

Fluttershy might have trouble disciplining her child, but as of Putting Your Hoof Down and Keep Calm and Flutter On she seems to be overcoming those issues. I think Stare Master demonstrated that Flutttershy has excellent mother potential.

As for Rarity, her patience would be tested like never before but I think she would be great in the end.

Luna is destroying this poll about how I expected. I can't say I disagree though, she's amazing, definitely one of my favorite characters

I heard about this show while surfing tv tropes and it seemed to have a pretty high following so after a while I wanted to see what the fuss was all about so I went to YouTube and one of the first things I watched was the rainbow dash you're gonna go far kid pmv. That convinced me that the show could be pretty cool and she's been my favorite ever since

I'm not really on board with trixie coming back at all, and if they give her an element of harmony then I think it would be a horrible idea

Because she's too epic for them. ( trollface)

Nah, she does need to perfect her tricks, grow up a bit and learn to work in a way that compliments the bolts

Well fluttershy didnt even have 20 bits when she wanted that cherry. She lives on the edge -- she doesnt have or need much money in general.

 

Pinkie Pie -- I guess could pull extra bits out of hammerspace if she really needed them, but I would say if you wanted her to make a pile of bits on the floor it wouldnt tally to much more than 50.

 

Twilight's expense account probably would allow her to write a writ for 250 bits right on the spot if she wanted to. I don't see her hording actual bits though and she probably carries about 30-50 at any time.

 

Rarity's money situation is the most strange -- she gets it and blows through it on silks etc. I would say if she REALLY NEEDED 100 bits for a shipment of rare materials she could have it by the end of the week -- but usually she doesnt have more than 30-50 onhand.

 

Applejack has more money kicking around and a ton more when cider season occurs. I'd say she has access to about 200 bits most of the time and closer to 1,000 post cider.

 

Rainbow Dash through winnings and her job as head weather pegasus for Ponyville along with how little she spends on things (never to the spa, etc) -- just saves all her bits. She has well over 1,000 bits stored and/or invested. By the time she is ready to retire she will give filthy rich a run for his money.

 

Although I can't see fluttershy being rich, I always kinda assumed that she could have bought that cherry, but she didn't think everypony would hopelessly overcharge her so she just brought enough do that she could make the salad

Whenever I take the quiz I get roughly a tie between applejack and rainbow dash with fluttershy as a distant third. Doesn't surprise me really

I honestly never understood the hype about derpy, she could disappear for half a season and I probably wouldn't even notice

Because she was freaking adorable in the episode that featured her? I know some of where you're coming from, I don't much care for background ponies because I watch largely for the character's unique personalities and how they interact, but Luna eclipsed was a terrific episode. They completely contradicted what I thought she would be like and made me just want to give her a hug. Perhaps she is overhyped by some, but of all the characters that aren't central to the show she is my favorite.

Like a lot of people I didn't much like rarity at first but the episode suited for success really did wonders for her as a character

My response would be the same as when she met the wonderbolts. OmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigosh. And later I'd realize how strange the situation was, but then I just wouldn't care

My siblings and I watch the episode together and we have a laugh at all the wierd junk twilight puts him through. I can't count the number of times I've thought "You have telekinesis, you put the books away

A teensy bit but that doesn't stop her from being my third favorite character. If you are looking for overrated characters there are much better candidates

Twilight: the piano

Rarity: the violin

Applejack: either a bass or a harmonica

Fluttershy: an acoustic guitar that she plays relaxing melodies on

Pinkie pie: I can picture her going wild and attacking a drum set, so that

Rainbow dash: obviously the electric guitar that she uses for mind blowingly incredible solos
