  1. Been collecting since I joined the fandom in 2012, so over 4 years. As for what I have, I have a bunch of stuff. A bunch of posters, plushies, collectible cards, card binders, tins, figures, a pillow, a blanket, wall vinyls, a couple of calendars, a few carrying bags, lanyards, necklaces, keychains, comics, a boatload of shirts and even more than that. I was a hardcore merch buyer for a good while. :P I have toned it down hardcore over the past year since I already have a lot and I want to save money a lot now.

My most prized possession within this collection is a Twilight Sparkle Enterplay card signed by Tara Strong. Won that in their sweepstakes dealio where you enter in the codes to see if you win. Apparently, the odds of winning one of those particular cards was 1 in 7000. Not only is that insane, but I NEVER win these kinds of things and considering I won this about two months after I joined the fandom, I was pretty friggin overjoyed. I have that card in special containment. :3

  2. With racing games, there are two main archetypes they seem to fall under: Closed circuit and open world. Closed Circuit of course because racing games that revolved around actual tracks that loop, AKA most in-world racing that we know of. Games like Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo fall into this category. The other is open world racing, which is at it sounds. Driving and racing in a large environment with many shortcuts and paths to discover. Games like this are Forza Horizon and Need for Speed, well, most modern Need for Speed games that is.

With these two pretty drastically different racing types, people are bound to be fans of one over the other. So that is the question here: Which do you prefer: Closed circuit or open world racing games?

I personally highly prefer closed circuit racers. If this was, say, 8 years ago I would be saying open world, but thanks to the Forza Motorsport series, I have fallen in love with the more sim-like closed circuit games. Driving on real world tracks that are immensely detailed and learning that track is a very fun and rewarding experience for me. Nurburgring for the win! :3

  3. Yesterday, I bought an LG 43inch 4K Smart TV. The price I paid? Well, the TV itself was supposed to be $500. It was on sale for $400. Then, one of the employees made me a deal with it. Knocked it down to $350. I was still really on the fence because that still is a big purchase for me and then he knocked THAT down to $325, WITH a good warranty included. I really could not pass that up. I am now glad that I didn't, the TV is pretty nice. ^__^

  4. Sometimes, shows stay great for a long time. I think, while FiM has had its hardcore fumbles, it has stayed mostly good throughout the years. Some may disagree and that is fine, this topic can be for that too. Some other shows, though, clearly started out really good but somewhere had an obvious downhill spiral that occurred perhaps during a season or even a single episode. From that point we knew the obvious, it was going in a bad direction.

That is the question here. If a show you thought was good before but then it sorta went bleh, what was the turning point that you saw?

For me, a very sad case of this is Spongebob. I mean, we have a show that had 3 seasons of wonderful episodes, and looking back, it also had tons of excellent subtle humor. As most of you know, the show really started to go downhill eventually and it fell hard. When I look at the seasons in depth, the clear turning point that I see is the middle of season 4. After the first movie was made, which was going to be the big grand finale for the entire show, the original creators left when the show was renewed again. This resulted in a few good episodes during season 4, which who knows, those could have been episodes written by the creators before they left. Then we got a bunch of terrible episodes, with each season getting worse. I have heard the show is better now, but I think the damage has been done and it has lost the charm that it once had.

  5. They would be appalled at how the human race is obsessed with destroying itself. Ddnald Trump thinks global warming is a lie, we have weapons made that can destroy the entire planet ready to go and more and more peeple are obsessed with status and being better than their fellow humans. This species is just sad. Not to mention, humans love to hate themselves and the body they have. Sure, the ponies dd some of these things too, but they were created by us, this messed up species.

  6. Haven't watched the trailer yet, don't own a PS4, but I will say this, people on the internet are really overhyping the trailer to the extremes. Now if I do watch it, I am probably not going to like it as much as I could have. It is like when people hyped up Undertale to the moon and back and I honestly wasn't impressed, especially not to that level.

  7. His last song was a tiny bit cheesey, but it was sooooooooo good too. While this could be a case of 'he got a good song so he doesn't need anymore', this could also be a scenario of 'his first major song was so good that he needs another one!' I could see him maybe getting at least one more song and that could be in season 7. Unlikely? A bit, but I would not mind having another one.

  8. I would say Cadence for this, but honestly, she just hasn't had enough screentime. We haven't seen her do a whole lot, though she was defending the Crystal Empire with her barrier which is cool. I want to see a slice of life episode involving her. This lack of seeing her could be why she is 'underrated' at this point.

  9. Never been properly drunk before, mostly because all I have ever had drinks of are wine coolers, but those are damn good. XD Probably shouldn't drink a lot of anything alcoholic at all due to my medication, but I still have a wine cooler every now and again.

  10. Imo, 4K looks way better than regular 1080p. When I switched from the 55" 1080p to the 65" 4K I could tell a clear difference in detail right away even though the screen was 10" bigger.

Could this difference be seen in something that is upscaled to 4K? Like a game on Xbox One S for example.

  11. I have always loved the banana peels actually. Especially if you get a lot, it creates havoc on the course. :3 The best special item to me was the Chain Chomp in Double Dash. That or the big Bob-Omb. Dduble Dash was soooo friggin good.

Worst item? Blue shell. That thing just feels entirely cheap to me. Sure, it can cause chaos, but it is targeted chaos that is near impossible to avoid.
