Me and Twilight marrying? I reeeeaaaaally don't think she would like me much to be honest. Twilight is confident and is able to get things done, while I am sorta riddled with confidence problems, so I think she would get rather annoyed with me very quickly. I wouldn't blame her. It would be a record divorce.

I don't believe in sin whatsoever, but out of these concepts, greed and gluttony are tied. Why? Because they are the only two that involve taking from others and providing nothing.

Oh wow. O_O Did not know this at all. Our Spike could very well be a descendant, but that would be a pretty dark family past to speak of. Tirek is a bit of a bad guy.

I guess it depends on how far out Equestria goes, as it seems only Equestria had to deal with them, according to the stories. It does seem to focus entirely on the ponies though, which seems to make sense as the Windigoes were horses in appearance, but maybe they appeared to other species but they were in a different visual form for them?

This definitely is not the case for me. I am autistic so this could be why, but I essentially talk with my hands. I am very hand vocal so to speak. I am incredibly expressive when I speak and I find it easier to have a conversation when others are expressive too. I feel like body language is very much a thing, it is just not noticed anywhere near as much thanks to online discussion.
Not sure if that means anything but that is my take on it.

The magical time of the year for gaming is soon upon us once again! The glorious E3 conferences are set to start in June and as always, I am excited for it. It feels like a celebration of gaming itself and with gaming being my most beloved hobby, I can't help but get giddy thinking about it.
Anyone else excited for the show? What are hoping to see from any of the companies?
I personally hope that Microsoft is planning something for backwards compatibility. Perhaps announcing a bunch of new games for it, as right now, they are trickling in very slowly. That is at least one thing I am hoping for.

I doubt it, at least for the long term. I think Dan is accurate for how her character will be for this season, but I have a feeling that by the end of it, she will have more of the friendship thing down. I actually do like how they are showcasing how out of touch she is with other ponies, it really makes me feel like she has something to fight for, something to work towards and it makes me want her character to get better. They still haven't convinced me that she will do that, but I am liking the idea.

Sunset is a character that had an unbelievably lame origin story, but she became quite likable later on. Starlight is a character that was insanely overpowered to the point of absurdity and her backstory was incredibly lame.
"Oh no I kinda lost one friend time to destroy everything." Sunset was at least a bit justified, you know, being thrown into a totally different dimension. I am still not entirely sold on Starlight either at this point, so there's that.I don't like EqG much, but Sunset is okay in my book.

Just had a bowl of Frosted Shredded Wheat cereal for breakfast. I could eat that stuff anytime. :3

Reading these responses makes me smile.
I am gonna say the first game I ever played online extensively was Burnout Paradise. That was such a blast at the time and it introduced me to something that was completely new to me at the time, which was online gaming. Pretty decent game to start with I think.

In terms of my MLP collection? Most definitely, I have tooooons of stuff for that and a signed collectible card, so I am %100 happy with that. I do wish I had more gaming related merch though, I am sorely lacking in that department.

I have a ton of pony shirts and a few Spongebob shirts, so one WOULD think I would be quite satisfied, but I have a lacking in pants at the moment, I need to pick a bunch more up. Slacks are luckily super cheap. :3

For me it is a tie between Mario and Megaman: Personally, I do think that Mario games are better overall and they have far more variety, but Megaman is tied simply because of one game and that game is Megaman X. One of the greatest sidescroller games of all time.

I am pretty much neutral on the show myself, but my mom however, she friggin' loves the show. She watches courtroom and investigation shows a lot. So I have many memories of just randomly watching those shows with her back in the day.

Ooooh wow, this is nostalgia, yet I can't exactly remember my full team on Pokemon Blue. Honestly, if I recall correctly, I think I just steamrolled the E4 and the Champion with just my Charizard and a bunch of Full Restores. I was not very strategic back then. XD Boy how things change.

I find this to be a issue mainly with Walmart, where they are always behind. Target has been better in this regard from my experience, having a few new things here and there when I go there. Granted I don't go there often so there is a decent gap but it is still better than Walmart.

Atheist here too. I have been watching a lot of the VeganAtheist's vids on youtube, as well as some Atheist Experience vids.
For clarification to anyone who reads this thread and may not know what the word atheist means, it simply means: The rejection of the belief in a diety/dieties due to the lack of supporting evidence. It does not mean the belief that there cannot be a diety (that is antitheism). I find I have to post that in any thread about atheism as many seem to not know the definition. I hope this clears up any issues that some non-atheists posting here in the future may have.
This is a strange post to me. As far as I know, atheism is strictly 'not having a religious of belief at all', not the rejection of it. Saying it is the rejection of religious belief makes it sound like religion is the default position, which is incorrect. We are not born with a religious belief, it is put upon us later, potentially.
Another thing, saying it is not a belief that there strictly cannot be a deity is also incorrect, that is technically agnostic. I am an atheist and I am fairly convinced there are no religious deities of any kind.
-
Fellow atheist right here. Oddly enough there *was* a thread for this but for some unknown reason it was locked and I am not sure if it was ever unlocked. Kinda odd.
Anywho, I have been an atheist since I was about 13 or so. Over time I also became more anti-religion as well. I am fine if someone is religious, but for religion as a whole? I am not entirely fond of it to be honest.

This is going to be a rather broad topic. You know something I love doing? Looking back at memories, good ones of course. Gaming in particular has some of my most cherished memories and thinking of them reminds me why I love gaming in the first place.
Why I say this is because I was thinking about my video game 'firsts'. That being, things that were new that happened to me for the first time in gaming. Like I said, this is a broad topic. So this can include anything that is a gaming first, like first game overall, first racing game ever played, first arcade game, first game you played online, first time a game made you cry, laugh, throw the controller across the room, if you have a first, you should list it! If you want to of course.
Let's share some of our gaming first! ^__^
Here is a random one from me: The first time I experienced a truly awesome physics system in a game: Psi-Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy. This game introduced me to the world of awesome video game physics and how fun it can be. I remember when I first started throwing guys around with my mind in the game, it was so cool and using that in interaction with the environment was so awesome to see. That game has a special place for me just for that.
Forza 5 was the first time I ever loved an actual racing sim game.
Those are just a couple of examples from me, what about all of you?

I've finally watched it, and it was great! I think I liked the Luna's Future song. Was this a musical episode?
It seems that it was, and in my opinion, this was the best musical episode in the entire show so far. Luna's song was nothing short of epic and powerful.

They should just sell off the F4 license to Marvel entirely, because it is clear that FOX just doesn't know what to do with this concept. Fan4stic was so bad that it made the first two movies look good somehow, so that doesn't really fill me with confidence for a sequel.

This to me is all started by an obsession with graphics and not much else. Sometimes it feels like the bit wars all over again. PC Elitism does exist, but as a console gamer myself, I know for a fact that console elitism is strong as well, mainly because some people are far too busy going on about how their preferred system has the better games, while outright ignoring any good games that the other system has. I find that to be incredibly juvenile and insulting to the devs of those games.
In short, I wish elitism of all kinds would end in gaming, as it only takes away from what gaming should be: Fun.

Didn't notice this at all on my initial viewing. I really really wish now that he could have said something. Anything. I wouldn't care if he walked up to RD and just said "Blarghaziglnokip!", it would have been something. I really want to see more family for our two mane pegasi. :c

After last week's, in my opinion, disastrous episode with Newbie Dash, this episode comes along and shows us once again that this show is friggin' awesome. While this type of story has been done over and over and over again, the way it was portrayed here was still really cool. Twilight and Spike were great in the episode, but it is the story that really shines. Mainly because of one huge thing: THE SONGS. Holy wow the songs. They were incredible. I love me some wonderful music in this show and this episode shows how much talent the musicians for this show have. Every song matched the mood perfectly, the instruments used for them, perfect, Luna's song? FRIGGIN, AWESOME. There was also Derpy on a christmas tree. My heart can't take it! D:
I am not entirely sure if this is my favorite Hearth's Warming Eve episode only because it is difficult to compare this to the others, but I can say this without hesitation: This is by far my favorite musical episode in the entire show and that is saying a lot, simply because Pinkie Pride exists.
Episodes like this remind me exactly why I love this show so much, so thank you DHX for a wonderful and heartwarming experience.

Seasonal Rot?
in MLP:FiM Canon Discussion
I have enjoyed all but one episode this season, that being Newbie Dash which is a terrible episode to me, but besides that, this season to me has been very enjoyable. I seriously do not understand what is with this fandom's obsession with doom and gloom. It is like some people actively want this show to die off.
