  1. Finish'd :yay:

I'm going to be honest...... This is actually the first proper vector work I've ever done, ever. :P I think it turned out pretty darn good with that in mind. :squee: (Sorry in advance, I know it's a bit big here, didn't really feel like resizing it, but you can see it more properly here if you'd like: http://nick1925.deviantart.com/art/Turbo-Button-Arcade-Machine-Vector-524353952?ga_submit_new=10%3A1428036191)img-3632058-1-turbo_button_arcade_machin

Wow....That is pretty awesome, and you said that you were not even close to me in terms of digital stuff. That is just as good as any vector I done and that is only your first one.

I love it it though. Matches me perfectly. Thankies. ^3^ It is awesomeness.

  2. DLC or 'downloadable content' is something that can either be done incredibly well and add to a video game in many ways or it can be a corporate tool to get more money from gamers. With this in mind, do you all have a particular favorite DLC's for a game? Or how about your least favorite? There are plenty to find for both categories I am sure. You can also just say what type of DLC is your favorite/least favorite.

One of my favorite pieces of DLC has to be The Stone Prisoner from Dragon Age Origins. It gave you many new quests if I remember, a whole new awesome character to have in your party and other additional content, that is how it should be done.

The DLC for the Elder Scrolls games are way up there for me as well. Huh, two western RPG's doing DLC right, weird. Both of these games have DLC that actually enhance the experience and lengthen it too.

A least favorite of mine has to be the map packs for Call of Duty. Take the newest entry Advanced Warfare as an example. In it's map packs, you get: One zombies map, 4 multiplayer maps, and one new gun. All for $15. Given that the multiplayer maps split the community and that one gun is just that, one gun, these packs are not worth it.

This highlights two types of DLC that I cannot stand; Content that is obviously ripped from the base game and sold to us later and DLC that costs a chunk of what the original game costs and does not have the content to justify the price point. That is happening a lot lately. Also, season passes are a pet peeve of mine.

  3. These toys, the Rock Em Sock Em Robots from the early 2000's:

    NuclearWastor-Front.jpg

Finding pictures of these things is neigh impossible. I absolutely loved those toys when I was younger, they were kinda like collectible figures and the customization was amazing, well, I loved it anyways. They are actually making Avengers toys that are very similar to this, but customizable robots makes more sense to me. As much sense as it could I suppose. I wish I still had those figures..X-Cavator was my favorite.

You know what else they should bring back? Oreo-O's. And Baked Doritos.

  4. Someone that loves talking and listening, someone that appreciates the simple things in life, someone that is quirky and perhaps a bit innocent. Those are some attributes I really like. Really, those are just attributes like would be nice to me.

The most important thing though, someone that is fine with all of my many shortcomings and flaws, because if they are able to do that and actually would want to be in a real relationship with me above everyone else, that really says a lot. That person could have someone better but if they instead chose me, that would be something very special.

  5. I prefer Skryim by far. While I definitely can see why Dark Souls is loved by many (my brother has been playing it so much lately) but I feel like the game rides too much on its difficulty. Skyrim, for me, provides far more immersion and a sense of wonder and adventure. It let's me get lost in its world which is a thing I love in games that do it right. Plus it has so much lore and worldbuilding which is another thing I really appreciate when done well. I also prefer the overall gameplay, setting, combat, and mostly everything else.

    Skyrim gets my vote.

  6. If we are talking overall quality, I think the Battlefield series is far superior than Call of Duty in nearly every aspect. What Call of Duty does well is that quick match, addictive leveling up gameplay, but even then I feel like it is losing that addictive nature now. Battlefield 4, while it had a terrible start, is a technical wonder that no Call of Duty has matched nor do I think it will be matched.

As for what I prefer, it depends on my mood, but lately I have been preferring the feeling of Battlefield because it actually makes you feel like you are in a huge battle, a war, and you actually matter. COD is fun but only in very short bursts and each new game seems to have less and less content.

My vote goes to Battlefield, I feel it is the better product overall.

  7. Storpey (Let's Player that feels genuine and has a very likable personality and doesn't feel like some obnoxious character, very under appreciated to be honest)

JeremyJahns (Great movie reviewer, very charismatic)

    ProJared

    PeanutButterGamer

    Boogie2988

    TotalBiscuit

Those are my tops and knowing the odds I will be adding more to this list.

  8. Dear Kyo,

I need more Sunset Shimmer STAT!

    Sincerely, Definitely Not Udyr

You shall receive, eventually. Might be a bit busy over the next few days.

OMG you made Bayonetta signatures! You should do Portal sigs, too! :)

Added to the to do list.

Can I request an Elder Scrolls sig?

And by Elder Scrolls I mean Morrowind and Oblivion. No Skyrim. None. Kupo?

More specifically, I want the guy in this image to be on the left, and the guy in this image to be on the right, with "Elder Scrolls" in the middle.

    Also added.

  9. Of course, I remember you back then. It's been a loooong time.

Yup and I have probably annoyed sooooooo many members, but I think I am a lot more tolerable now. Even then I am still kind of a dweeb. :P

I remember you as well, even though I don't think I have seen you lately. Maybe I am just missing it. This thread is giving me nostalgia feels now. I joined this forum like 2 days after I started watching the show and now it is already 2015. This forum is like a book of memories for me.

  10. I have posted this first song many times, but it is so incredibly beautiful that it would be the first song for my life.

    https://youtu.be/uN3yqMr3ffY

I especially love a particular line towards the end, "Redeem me into childhood, show me myself without a shell." Matches me perfectly.

Then there is this one which matches my life decently well right now, mainly because of some of the lyrics.

    https://youtu.be/NDix79LuVF8

There are some people in my family that I currently am not too happy with and some of the lyrics can describe how I feel.

Those two currently match my life well. Ghost Love Score is always on the list. Then there is the song 'Everything Dies' by Type-O-Negative, One More Day by Sentenced, and Rusted by Psyclon Nine. Those 3 are ones for when I am feeling really down.

  11. I joined the forums back in September 2012, does that make me a forum vet? Well, regardless, I'm still here. To the dismay of many. Right? :P

This feeling of nostalgia when looking through old messages, that has happened to me a lot. Then again I am highly susceptible to nostalgia.

  12. Well. The muzzle cuts off the eyes in the wrong way in the profile picture.

Full body reference would work best for me, honestly.

Well. In that case. A full body reference would work best.

Even then. I don't know if I'd be able to add the Elder Scrolls bandana across his head.

In that case, this should work. I used Button Mash as the inspiration for Kyoshi's design. This is one of the vectors I did of Button Mash.

    post-8308-0-18372800-1427658212_thumb.png

Basically that but with Kyoshi's features. Would that work? Also, the headband could be for any game, or if you cannot do the head band, you can leave it out.

  13. Update! This time the focus is on avatars, I have realized that I need to add more of them. So for now I have added 6 new avatars.

    They are as follows:

    Twilight Sparkle (Version 2)

    Twilight Sparkle (Version 3)

    Twilight Sparkle (Version 4)

    Fluttershy (Version 3)

    Fluttershy (Version 4)

    Fluttershy (Version 5)

Hope you all like them. I am planning on doing additional avatars for the others in the mane 6 soon as well.

  14. @,

Do you have a reference pic for him?

Does he have a mare muzzle or a stallion muzzle?

Would my current avatar work as one?

With the base I used he would have a stallion or colt muzzle I suppose.

  15. Rule 63 mate. It affects everything.

Ah, that is the number. I was trying to remember, I was in the 40's or so. Waaaaaaaaaaay off. :P

Heck, if anypony wants to try that out too, feel free to. :D Don't think it would be dramatically different to be honest.  :derp:

  16. Can I draw you like one of my french girls?

Depends. Are they gaming french girls? :o That happen to have black and blue hair, a gaming headband, and is pretty cool? Hmm...

Wait, this sounds like an idea of making a female version of me. Huh...That could be something too. :P

  17. ooooo I wanna try : o

does it matter what's on the headband since I've seen different games on it at different times?

I don't mind what's on it at all. :) Actually, I think it would be awesome if different games are represented. That is a neat idea. ^_^
