  1. My favorite anime was Attack On Titan but that has been ruined by season 3 and there's only one season left anyways. Lately I've lost nearly all passion for the genre in its entirety. I keep trying out new shows to see if any of them "click" like AoT used to but all I keep finding is typical cliche garbage. Been watching Stardust Crusaders and for a show that at times can be incredibly violent and is clearly very mature rated, it has some of the most inane and immature bullshit I've ever seen. Anime is something that almost never lands from my experience. There's always cliches everywhere, terrible character archetypes and drastic conflicts in tone at every turn.

Players are rich. Why should I feel sorry for them?

My thoughts exactly. I remember at times seeing fights break out between teams because of frustration or whatever. Why in the hell would any of them be frustrated to the point of a petty brawl? Regardless of the game's outcome, they still have more money than most of us could ever dream of. They will still be able to go out to a nice restaurant anytime they want, still have financial stability for the rest of their life and be able to retire at like age 33. I feel zero sympathy for these overpaid "sports stars". All they do is throw a ball around while commercials play every 2 minutes and that apparently is worthy of immense wealth and admiration. Nah, no thanks. I remember watching one of the recent Super Bowl's, I think it might have been 2018 and it was one of the most boring things I have ever watched. Both teams played horribly and my thought afterwards was "So I wasted 3 hours of my life watching two teams play like trash while they will still have their riches regardless of their performance. Yay for me." Not making the same mistake of watching the super bowl ever again.

  3. Why are we forced to live in a world we may have no place in? We are created without our consent, cared about for a specific amount of time and then expected to grease the cogwheels while suffering underneath. I didn't ask to be some useless mental-case of shit but here I am in a world that doesn't want or need me.

What exactly are the original core values of social justice?

The original idea is quite simple; Social justice is to fight against garbage like racism and homophobia, among other things. To fight for people's rights and to fight for their inclusion regardless of their race, sexual identity or gender identity. Not "forced inclusion" but fighting for them to be allowed to be included into something where they wouldn't be before. Look at something like the Civil Rights Movement or the gay rights movement or even Black Lives Matter now. That all is what social justice is supposed to be. Fighting for social progress and fighting against bigotry and social division. Obviously the message has gotten entirely muddled and confused with the small minority of people that want forced inclusion into everything, but the so called "anti-SJW's" that hate those people have already appointed themselves to even worse extremes. Now those people lose their mind if any inclusion happens. They immediately look for reasons to dismiss things like gay or trans rights or fighting against racism and they do so at every turn. It is such a shame that these are the people that ruin what social justice is supposed to mean. One might say it was the over-reacting people wanting hardcore forced inclusion, but they've always been a small amount of people relatively speaking. It was the hardcore "anti-SJW" movement that started to deem anything they didn't like as "Social Justice" and in the process they've destroyed what that phrase even means. They are the type of people that will look at something like what happened to George Floyd and try desperately to justify the fact that he was murdered. Fighting for people like Floyd is true social justice. Fighting for those discriminated against for being gay or trans is true social justice. Fighting for those discriminated against simply because of their race or skin color is true social justice. It isn't whatever those morons over at Reddit think it is.

  6. Another thing I cannot stand about US culture and this is an obvious one: The sheer inane levels of "nationalism" that is always in the air.

While I get the whole idea of wanting to have "pride" in where you live (I try to promote individual state pride over "murica" pride myself) but in the US it is all taken to such an extreme level it is basically self-parody at this point. Everywhere you go, you will see countless "murican" flags spammed across towns and cities. Some places it is almost like there's one on every friggin' street corner and street light. One town I went to had mini US flags surrounding an entire large bank AND one big flag on a pole. What does that accomplish exactly? That isn't "pride", it is egotistical total self-indulgence at that point. You also see this flag being milked to death in all sorts of marketing and anything US related. Anything that mentions "american made" or whatever else you will see the flag being used as a marketing tool, just to show everyone how "murican" they are. Absolutely no other country does this kind of crap from what I know or if any other does, it is nowhere even close to this comical level. It is to the point of being a total joke. This is on top of the arrogance many "americans" have, where they think they are superior to other people simply because of what plot of land they were born on. No surprise there when the national anthem says "land of the free, home of the brave", as if no other place has free or brave people. Local stations around where I live play the national anthem every morning (why?) and one around here even does a daily "pledge of allegiance" as led by a class of school kids. Again, why? The US fuels this air of elitism and that leads to a depressing amount of xenophobia. This is why I do not support this kind of "nationalism". Like I said, I am an advocate for individual state pride and if we want, that kind of nationalistic attitude can be used for that as well, as I personally have several states that I hate though that isn't because I think my state is "so much better". All of this stuff is why when any kind of media tries to make some kind of joke about the stereotypes of the US like "Har har the flag har har guns har har the military har har no affordable health care har har corruption and greed", it only pisses me off because it is no longer a joke, it is all the reality we now live in. That's why the humor of the Grand Theft Auto series for example is a total bust for me. All they deploy is the typical "lol murica lol" humor and it completely loses all impact when I am living that joke every day.

Nothing like a good rant in the morning. :P Honestly it does help the mood. Takes any pent up frustration and puts it into words, getting it out to somewhere else rather than in the mind. Though I am sure some people might see me saying all of this and instantly hate me or whatever, but it is what it is I guess. I heavily criticize the US because I wish things would improve but that's just not been happening at all..It really brings me down.

  7. For me this is going to be about the good ol USA. This might get dicey.

One of the things I hate most about "american" culture is the insane worship of the rich and famous. They are treated like gods while the rest of us are simply ants going about our day. The amount of TV shows that have been created over the years fully dedicated to worshipping celebrities is depressingly staggering. It isn't enough that they have a life of luxury that us commoners could only ever dream about hopelessly but in the US it is like the common person is meant to be a peasant worshipping the famous kings on their thrones of red carpet.

This one I know will piss off some people but I just have to say it; One can't mention "culture" and "USA" together without bringing up the culture around war and the army. This is one that people always have to walk around eggshells on with because not supporting the military 100% at all times is apparently a blasphemes act nearly worthy of death to many people. I have tons of problems with the military of the US and how it is portrayed. I am talking about the modern era military here. Commercials and other ads are pure propaganda, portraying any and all members of the army as unsung heroes bravely charging into a war that doesn't actually exist. Most of these ads use wording like "Join the team that truly makes a difference" or something similar which is hilarious. Yeah, not teams of doctors or engineers that keep things running or teams of scientists that work every day to cure disease and help daily life. Nooooo, its the people with highly powerful guns who fly 1,000+ miles away to a totally different country that are the ones making a difference and only them. We are also supposed to have the utmost respect for anyone that joins the military at all times, never questioning it, never thinking that maybe they are fighting for a wrong cause (like say the worldwide proxy wars that the US fuels) and if someone is walking around with their army uniform on for no reason, we are supposed to just bow to their presence and treat them like saviors of humanity. Countless other jobs are dangerous too and in my opinion a tad more worthwhile to people here at home and many of those jobs don't involve killing others and I don't see those people walking around with their uniforms awaiting constant praise. War is a horrible thing and it should never be glorified, but the US does that all the time and the fact that we fund the military far more than anything else shows that in full. Now of course I am not trying to disrespect any specific person that joins the army. If that's what you truly wanna do then whatever. You do you I guess, but I will never respect how the army is portrayed and how some people think the rest of us are never allowed to criticize it whatsoever. And before anyone says something like "They are fighting to protect your worthless ass." which is something I've actually been told in the past because of me voicing my criticism; Firstly they are not protecting me by being an entire ocean away (How is them being in a totally different country across an ocean going to fix any of the massive problems here exactly?) and secondly, even if for whatever reason I wanted to join the army, I literally cannot do that. I have a shunt (as well as numerous mental problems and nervous twitches) and that automatically makes me completely disqualified from any and all military service.

Damn that became a thing. I guess I've been meaning to rant about that one for a long time. There's other things I can bring up but that's enough for now. Take my words as what they are. Words. Words from someone who ultimately has no impact on anything whatsoever and cannot change anything at all. As this is not in the debate area I of course will not debate this at all.

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Hello counting pones, again. :P@Nsxile 🔥🐲 sorry for not responding before, I spaced out on that. I'll admit I haven't been so great the past few days. I've been having a rough time mentally. On a positive note the AC unit I got works like a dream and it feels so nice in my room. :) Just trying to focus on whatever positives I can.

I hope you've been well my dragon buddy. :3
