  1. I was lucky and didn't have to work so I went shopping, but not anywhere near the crazy areas. Gamestop was pretty tame except a bunch of moms crowding the DS area. xD
  2. My thread about what I got at Gamestop is what I got on Black Friday thanks to a sale.
  3. That was number 5 if memory serves, LRP. No wait, that was number...3? He reappears in 5 though. I haven't seen these movies in so long, I really should find them and get them.
  4. I don't even have the game yet, Plasma. lol We won't be fighting for quite a while. I have to get the game, then I have to play it and learn who I'm good with and practice with them, THEN we can fight. Like hell I'm gonna play someone who's played the game for longer than I have when I've had no practice.
  5. Okay, I've played some Hunted: The Demon's Forge. It actually works pretty well (though I've never played Gears of War) and it makes me think of Gauntlet Legends rather than an RPG. It's a weird feeling playing this game. You play as two characters, a human man and an elf woman, each have two weapons: Melee and long range. You can switch between the two at Obelisks (not freely, unfortunately) and they each do some things differently. The elf, named E'lara, can light her arrows on fire from her bow and light torches and such while the man, Caddoc, has brute strength to move some pillars and blocks. You can only hold one of each kind of weapon (so far as I can tell) and when you find a weapon (or shield) on the ground you pick it up and it replaces what you have in hand. Right now I'm using an enchanted axe (that lost it's enchantment pretty quickly lol) Overall it's a fun game so far with great locales but I haven't really delved into it deeply yet.
  6. What I liked most about The Final Destination was the fact that the characters didn't just sit around hoping things would be better and waiting to die like the rest, they actually tried to fight to live.
  7. I still think it's absolutely useless to bother with price when you are talking about a game's length. A game could be two hours long and be the best 60 bucks you ever spent. Oh and as a Sonic fan who has really enjoyed even the "worst" Sonic games such as Sonic and the Black Knight and Sonic Chronicles I truly did love Unleashed and definitely liked the Werehog. I always thought the Werehog stages were actually better designed than the Day stages.
  8. I got in a bit of trouble for spending like $40 more than I originally intended because the money was supposed to be for bills so now I have to not buy anything until after Christmas. lol I really do need to work on my frugality, I suck at it big time.
  9. I went to Gamestop today to get Sonic Generations (my preorder) and a couple other things. I walked out having only spent $110 on the following: Sonic Generations (PS3) Shadow Hearts: Covenant (PS2) 3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3) The Darkness (PS3) Hunted: The Demon's Forge (PS3) $20 PSN Card Renewed Rewards Card Thank you, Buy 2 Get 1 Free sales.
  10. As much as I love Chemical Planet classic, I truly loved the Modern stage version of the song. That particular stage blew me away as my first true entrance into the world of 3D Sonic via old stages. (I had been playing Green Hill for three months prior due to the demo lol)
  11. I got the game tonight (with a few other purchases) and beat it. That was the best six hour fangasm I've ever had. ;-; Note: There are spoilers in this topic so be wary of what you read. I sat there and played that game from beginning to end, including the chaos emeralds and final boss, without stopping for anything. Let me say this: I was going in expecting remade stages, but what I wasn't expecting was the absolutely amazing creations I was given. Every stage was so...original. Despite the fact they were based on levels from previous games they all still felt like their own levels. They were brilliantly designed and the music for each stage was amazing too. Oh and don't get me started on boss fights, the first one was far more amazing than I expected it to be and was thoroughly epic, then Perfect Chaos came and though the fight did the same stupid crap that I hated about the original one where they went from the awesome theme song of the game to the not-so-great "final boss theme" everything else about the fight was amazing. Perfect Chaos looked way cooler and the level itself was so much better. I had so much fun running across the ruined buildings and through the water and seeing Perfect Chaos in the background while his water tendrils attacked me from afar. It was a really epic fight. The final boss itself...well the music wasn't so great but the fight itself was pretty interesting. Had a bit of trouble figuring out what to do (not unusual for me when it comes to Super Sonic final bosses lol) but in the end it turned out great. The friends constantly talking through the communicator was rather useless and annoying though. It wasn't even interesting dialog like in Sonic Adventure 2, it was just "DODGE THIS, SWITCH WITH TRIANGLE" over and over and over. -_- I've yet to do any of the challenges except for the "Friend Challenges" which I chose to do so I could get the boss keys but it definitely looks like a lot of fun to do them all. The rival fights were definitely great, especially the Shadow rival fight, that one was amazingly well done, especially with the music changing depending on who's in the lead. Now that was a truly epic fight. My one and only disappointment with the game was my one most anticipated stage: Crisis City. It was fun but it didn't feel like such a jump from the original like all the other stages. Speed Highway, Chemical Plant and City Escape were definitely my faves and I definitely favor the Modern Sonic stages. This game was absolutely amazing though, it was the best six hours ever. When I finished City Escape I was like "Now that is how you escape from the city!" cuz that level was just so damn fun. What got me most in a lot of places was the great use of the scenery to get through the levels. Sonic jumping off of street lamps, an Orca Whale bumping me so I flew farther, etc. This game made great use of the back and foreground. This is truly the best Sonic game and you'd be a fool to not recognize it's greatness. Oh and also, this game had the best world hub I've ever seen. It was amazing. 10/10, truly the best Sonic game to date.
  12. Dude, when you get the chance just listen to all the music they have. It's all so amazing.
  13. Just found another one called Black Blade.
  14. Those aren't even the best. There's one called Archangel that is so amazing I would love it to be my own personal theme song. lol
  15. I've been listening to their music quite a bit the last week. They have the most epic music I have ever heard in my entire life. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOmg-yeYZIY&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdT-ockmsgI&feature=related
  16. Awww, Zoop beat me to the Pre-Alpha. Oh well, it's definitely looking even better. We even got to see some Pinkie attacks and a Hyper Attack. <3 Loooove it.
  17. Because I got lucky the first couple times, it won't happen again. lol It's especially hard since I don't particularly know anyone. Last few times it was someone at school and someone I met at an event at my library. Now, I don't go anywhere except work. lol
  18. I never said she wasn't, just that from what I've seen she always seemed like the least mentioned as favorite pony.
  19. Not for a guy who's first two girlfriend's asked HIM out and his last girlfriend was online for a long time. I have literally no experience finding a girlfriend. They always landed in my lap.
  20. And go out and try to find a girlfriend the old fashioned way. I spend three hours doing eHarmony's quiz and going through their site and it turns out no matter what I do I can't contact a person without paying for the service. Dammit, looks like I can't go the easy way. LOL <.< Easier said than done though.
  21. Attempting to go the "easy way out" and using eHarmony to try to find a relationship, a good one. Mistake or not? We'll find out!

  22. No, it's still Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, it's just they are now adding a party mode totally unrelated to the sports (as far as I can tell) Fun fact that no one here except Captain Marvelous knows (And maybe a few possible others) : The world of Sonic is actually set in a post-apocalyptic world after (seemingly) a nuclear explosion of some sort that spliced the DNA of man with animal which is how the Mobians (Like Sonic, Tails and Amy and all the other creatures that walk and talk like humans) came to be. Though there are still some humans left in the world most of them have only four fingers (probably due to the splicing as well) while there's also another group of humans with five fingers because they were untainted by the "end of days" that started Mobius. You could say Mobius is practically the future of our planet Earth but most of the records of before that time are lost forever so no one really knows what Mobius was like before. Note: This only canonically applies to the Archie Comics so don't think too hard about it being canon in the games and other cartoons. I really wish they had made games based on the world of the comics.
  23. Don't get me wrong, Feld0, my post wasn't meant to be taken seriously. lol
