    Loved this episode! +Excellent use of time travel. Completely paradox free. +The costume design was phenomenal. +The story was mature, even for this show +The "violence" was still silly, and didn't turn into a TK level, brutish, dick measuring contest. +The best villains are intelligent, not psychotic beyond reason. Starlight was shown the impact of her actions and like Moondancer, was capable of radically changing her ways. +I love exploring alternate dimensions. +Definitely not a TSPH. The whole episode was about how powerless Twilight was. Great episode. Best 2 parter since ACW, and this had to be the best season so far. I didn't think anything could top S4.

    Simply being someone who watches a cartoon for little girls, and not being a little girl yourself, makes you someone who doesn't feel obligated to adhere to societal norms. It broadens the spectrum of what you allow yourself to watch. I'd say this is a positive quality. I would like to add that it being a fan is easier if public perception of the show is strong, which it isn't. The best you can hope for is to be a good person in other aspects of your life, that way you'll always be judged for your character, before anything unusual about you, like the fact that you watch MLP. Other people will regard MLP fans more positively if the ones they know are good people.

    You preordered yours after I preordered mine, but you ordered 1, and I ordered RD, Flutters, Rarara, Princess Twi, and Dr. Whooves, so I'd guess they're filling orders based on shipment size.

    I would think so. We're heavily invested in several different ways with this iteration of MLP. I doubt a majority of the fans will carry over to the next, either from disinterest in the content, exhaustion, or finding something new and shiny to obsess over.

    This fits in perfectly with the postulation that S6 will be April-November 2016. The movie would come out a year later. Based on the fact that voice recording is long finished, and boarding is also basically done, except the finale, AND key layout has been in progress for some time now, the show is right on track for Spring.

    It hit me when I realized how coherent the writing was, and how goodhearted and endearing the characters were. It still surprises me to this day.

    I don't like this episode for a few reasons. Firstly, the things that Spike did to genuinely help Twilight, namely move the polo ponies, stop the trees from being cut down, and the water pipe from being sealed, we're all the things that ruined the hall in the end. This means even if Spike had never abused his assumed authority, everything still would have been ruined. Secondly, the way Cadence treated Spike in this episode, and the way she acted in Equestria Games, were two entirely separate attitudes. I would have appreciated consistency here. I can't ever say I hate an episode, but to me, this might be one of my most disliked episodes.

    The first game I ever watched was Super Bowl 28, when the Cowboys beat the Bills for a 2nd year in a row. So now naturally I'm trapped as a Cowboys fan, for better or for worse.

    I liked this episode a lot because of how positively Fluttershy was portrayed. She carried this one hard. I'm kinda torn about Twilight. On the one hand she's an absolutely terrible and incapable Princess of Friendship. Everytime she actually has to do her job, it's as if it always her first day on the job. Outside of knowing she was made Princess because they thought the show was ending after S3, it begins to beg the in universe question why in the hell she's a princess to begin with. On the other hand, if she was the perfect princess of friendship, the screams about her being a Mary Sue would be deafening. I guess I just want her to do her job well enough to not make me question what she's doing here. To Twilight:

    -They're done recording S5 -They're done boarding S5 -They're in Key Layout phase, which happens 5-6 months before the premiere airs -John mentioned receiving 2 scripts at the same time, which was relatively recently, which means it's a two parter, which means it's the finale. -Episodes air generally a year from their record date This is beyond any shadow of a doubt the finale. The premiere will without question be this Spring.

    The pilot, but I did watch the first few minutes of Ponies: The Anthology before that, so based on the opening, for a few minutes I thought there was 2 purple ones.
