  1. Fandoms never just die until the source of it is completely forgotten, and considering how far this community has spread it's roots, I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. Sure, they do lose relevance but I still enjoy watching old episodes of Batman TAS and Samurai Jack because they were good shows, and so is FiM. New fans will come and go, a few from its peak will stay forever, and as long as it''s not forgotten, it'll never die.
  2. Want something ironic, make the Rainbow Dash, Element of Loyalty, the daughter of Backstab, who got to wherever he is by undermining his piers.
  3. I'm a fan of jazz and chiptunes. Also I love the band Uh Huh Her. Besides that, I guess I'm into a little bit of everything as long as it's good.
  4. Mine would be myself holding a DVD with a condescending look on my face. I'd probably be standing on a pile of other movies that annoy me.
  5. I like Adventure Time and Regular Show, but seeing everyone jump on the abstract and weird bandwagon is starting to annoy me. I'd like to see all three of them make a comeback really.
  6. I occasionally wear a Derpy t-shirt in public. With an open aloha shirt over it and plaid pants. I'm a walking fashion disaster. I have nothing to hide. However I once closed a pony tab when someone was walking in and they thought I was a closet brony. While wearing that Derpy shirt...
  7. I would take over the world and issue one new law, Seinfeld cannot write anymore movies. Then I'd go home and complain about things online.
  8. Who says we're pissed? We're asked for an opinion and we gave it. All because we have negative opinions on something doesn't mean we get butt hurt over them. Personally I ignore them, but I still think it's kind of pathetic.
  9. I mean games made to be artsy, like Journey, Okami and Shadow of the Colossus. Some are pretty good, but many are just boring walks as the character constantly asks "Why?" about everything and kills themselves in an attempt to be deep and meaningful. Newgrounds' Art Games section is a good example of both.
  10. Any art game that doesn't end with jumping off a roof and has more to do than walking down one path brings tears of joy to my eyes.
  11. Immature people like to make immature comments. Insecure people like to make themselves sound tough and cynical. Add them together and you get the butt hurt hellspawn we call haters, or more sadly, the average internet troll.
  12. I think Studio Ghibli films are boring. Akira was also boring and the symbolism was weak. The 3rd Twilight movie was actually kind of passable. (for Nintendo fanboys) Playstation Allstars Battle Royale looks pretty good. (for Sony fanboys) but it still doesn't look as good as Smash Bros. Arieth from FF7 was a boring character anyways. Princess Molestia was never funny. I kind of liked the Mysterious Mare Do Well Anyone that seriously says Superman is overpowered have never read comics. I'm sick of how much DC tries to milk the Joker out when it comes to marketing. We all knew he'd been in MKvsDC, no need to throw a party over it. Batman Begins sucked. The other two were good, but the first one sucked. Didn't care for the original X-Box. Boondock Saints was not edgy or provocative, it was childish. I may be a high brow guy who enjoys the artisty garbage, but I also like Family Guy. X-Play was a mockery of critics everywhere. Too many fans have unrealistic expectations. Looks at the Resident Evil and Mass Effect fanbases. I never cared for Twilight's BBBFF song or Love is in the Bloom. Final Fantasy 2 Emperor was hands down the most badass villain the series spawned. Not 3 dimensional, just badass.
  13. Meh, it typical for something like that to happen. When you first got into it, it was new, it was exciting, but not it's losing it edge only because you are starting to get too familiar with it. It happens with everything. Like the posters before me said, when season 3 begins, new content will come. Whether or not it's enough for you is for you to decide.
  14. A friend of mine likes to make fun of me for being a brony, but I also make fun of him for his catgirl obsession, so it's a two way friendly battle of insults. I also occasionally call my brother a fag for watching FiM as a joke. Really, from my experience, 99% of mature people can care less, at worst giving a "that's kind of weird" line. By the way, inner critic speaking here but seriously using the word fag as an insult is nothing more than a sign of immaturity and possibly stupidity. I say stupidity only because that punk clearly couldn't come up with a better insult. Also to judge someone based on something as harmless as liking a weird show shows insecurity on the punk's side. Just ignore him, he'll either grow up or get his ass kicked someday.
  15. I'd have the powers cosmic them self. I would use them to rule over the land under my never ending reign of good times and sunshine.
  16. Though I love the character, she is kind of over rated, but here you go, this should explain most of her popularity. I guess moe characters don't work on me...
  17. I can care less about popularity polls. In my book, being popular does not equal quality. The Twilight book's are popular, and so was Avatar. Not to say popular things can't be good, that's hipster talk, I'm just saying I don't let popularity affect my opinion on something.
  18. They are justified in the sense that they need love to survive. Perhaps they could have found an alternative means of doing so, but it's their nature. Bears aren't evil because they eat innocent fish, are they? However, the ponies were also justified to kick them in the faces and giving them the boot from the kingdom.
  19. May I offer some criticism? 1. Try to darken the lines and either crop it to focus more on the characters or put more details into the background. 2. Also, unless you're going for a very specific style of shadow, the individual shades shouldn't have outlines. 3. Finally, never place the focus of the picture in the middle, most people find that boring.
  20. It's easy, first I get either Twilight Sparkle or Pinkie Pie to form an inter dimensional rift between Earth and Equestria, my side being somewhere well hidden. Then I start up a business blindfolding and taking people to wherever the portal is split profits 50/50. Flawless plan.
  21. Dude, let me tell you this, if you want to make an RPG Maker game with a battle system AND make it fun, you have a lot of work ahead of you. The default battle system is never fun, but with a good script writer, you can pull off something amazing. Take it from a guy in the RM community for years, it's not easy, and if you want to not get over shadowed by other Pony RPGs coming out, you'll have to make something notable. Take some risks and find your identity. The two titles you should look out for are Pony Chronicles, which is being built to be simple yet very enjoyable, and the Lost Kingdom, which is bulky and more complicated. First thing you want is a script writer, get something going that looks good and is fun to use. Use default graphics for it. After making your battle system, you'll be able to tell what sprites you'll need, and bring in the artists to make the sprites. Finally, release a gameplay video and try to get more support behind your project. Equestria Gaming is a good place to start. If you play your cards right, you'll make a great game. If not... well... horrible FiM RPG I don't want to advertise...
  22. I'm a hybrid of the artist and real life kinds. I'm working on a pony game, making art, but I'm more interested in my non-pony projects. I consider being a brony as part of my identity, but I only own a Derpy T-shirt and I don't force others to "convert", and I'm perfectly fine with that.
  23. As King of the Universe, there is only one outfit for me. Brown shoes, orange socks, tacky plaid slacks, elaborate aloha shirt over Derpy T-shirt, apron, red heart shaped sun glasses and a golden crown.
  24. Starting off, I watch 1-10 a day, but only because I just got into the series and there was a lot of material to catch up on. Now, I watch it whenever I feel like it. Nothing new.
  25. Ugh... the moments in Suited for Success where Rarity has her whole breakdown and says the line "I'm so pathetic"... That's me when I get a little depressed. It happens a lot...
