Once, and this is really quite recently. After watching SNL long into the night, I wake up at about 5:00 in the morning, went into the kitchen, and... saw a ladder leaning against my balcony, leading upstairs, where my parents sleep. I go into their rooms, wake them up, and tell them about it, honestly hoping that they'd put it there or something. However, the whole situation got a lot more sketchy when my mother later recalled a loud *BANG* yesterday night, as if something heavy had smashed into something metal (as it turns out, our gutters). So no, they don't know why it's there, so they bring it inside (a bad idea, in hindsight – what if it was recent and the criminal was hiding outside, armed?) and call the police. In the meantime, my mother thinks of all kinds of innocent reasons why it'd be there, because I've since learned she's terrified of being robbed. At first, we think nothing is stolen, but then we realize that one of the screens on the windows was on the balcony, torn open, and the thief dropped a box and some jewellery during his escape. So yes, we were robbed. Sigh. The rest of that day is dedicated to investigations and all that, but aside from some small evidence, no fingerprints or anything are found.
However, luckily, the crook was caught two weeks ago. Yay!

Yes, but that's an electric hopper, which are crazy expensive. It just comes with an average gravity hopper, which just let the balls fall into your gun as opposed to sucking them in.Wow, that's like $250 cheaper than my airsoft gun alone! I've heard Co2 is pretty good, and I'll be asking my friends were they play paintball.
A hopper, by that do you mean this?
-
Oops, sorry, the Cronus is only $80. My bad.
Unfortunately, I am not Floridian and can not tell you anything about it. Sorry.
EDIT: And for $109, you can get everything you need - a mask, a Co2 tank, and a hopper - with a Cronus.

Uhh.... They said something about a "park" in South Florida. I don't think they will care about the color of my gun, no offense, an I've seen other paintballers with purple guns in a forest. And it's just like a "get together" thing. By park I think my friends mean forest/hill enviorment. But I don't know :okiedokielokie:
Okay. I mean, the colours are fine and it doesn't matter much, but if your friends are playing on the "speedball" fields, with all the inflatables, a semi-auto gun shaped like a rifle isn't gonna cut it. Anyway, a couple of starter guns I'd definitely recommend are the BT Omega ($125 is an okay deal - mine was free), the Tippmann 98 Custom ($120, I think) (looks a little dorky, but it's an absolute workhorse), the Tippmann Cronus ($100 for a barebones), or the Tippmann A5, if you're willing to pay a little more. However, if you want to go all out, get a BT Delta. Those things are beasts.

As a frequent paintball player, I have to ask you a few questions. If you have the wrong kind of gun for the situation just because it's blue, you'll just look silly.
When you went with your friends, were you playing in a more "urban" environment, a forest/hill, or on a completely artificial field with inflatable bits?
What is your price range?
How much customisation do you want?
Et cetera...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWKYpy__lfA . It's just so strange hearing this adorable little girl voice singing about really obscene things.

Applejack, by attempting to deceive Pinkie into thinking there is zero bickering within her perfectly functional family, yet again proves she is much more Loyal to her family than she is Honest to others. I know there's nothing we can do about it now, seeing that the Elements are kaput, but it still bugs me kinda.

My first words upon hearing the news would be one of two things:
"DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING?"
Or
"TO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARMS!"
Again, it's somewhat difficult for me, someone born and raised in the First World, to imagine such a violation of rights, and over a cartoon show no less. But, for the sake of the argument, if expressing fanship over My Little Pony if you're not a 6-year-old girl was illegal and had no maximum sentence, I'd probably just stop and wait it out. Besides, the law didn't say anything about "non-bronies" protesting the act...

I'm sorry, but I think you did something wrong when uploading the pic as it is not showing up on my screen
Fine, just use the link. I edited it into the old post.

Well, you may want to add Hebrew - quite a few Israelis on the forums.
Anyway, First language: English (completely fluent, duh)
Second Language: Hebrew (Mostly fluent, but just lack general knowledge on some words)
Third Language: French (There's a lot I don't know, but I can read and understand it for the most part, and my accent is pretty much spot-on)
Fourth Language: Yiddish (only understanding and reading - I'm going to forget it all next year)
Desired languages, in general order: Chinese (no specifics yet), Swedish, Russian, German, Latin, Japanese, Greek, etc.

I'd totally recommend kits's work on FimFiction, but unfortunately all of her stories are homosexual. But, you hardly notice. Most of her stories about Pinkie are really sweet, cute, and funny.

The same reason programmes like Dr Who are most popular in England. t's mainly because the show is made and aired with new episodes in America, so it reaches more American bronies than those of other nationalities.
Probably because it's a show made in America... It's more accessible there and people in other countries may not know about it as much as they do... I only know of it because of my friends in America... I wouldn't have started watching the show had I not been told to... I would have also seen pony merchandise and passed it off as kids stung without giving it a second glance...
MLP originated in the US and is in English which while it is a commonly spoken language is not spoken by everyone. There are some foreign language versions but as many as you would think. It only recently came to Japan when a show like this seems almost tailor made for that country.
I think it's because the show was made in the US and, the fanbase started to migrate to Canada after the show's popularity started to show when it first aired.
The show being made here is a reason why it's so popular here. Also, its original dub is in English, so it doesn't surprise me that Canada, England, and other English speaking countries have a lot of bronies. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of non-English speaking countries that still air MLP dubbed to their language. I'm actually surprised by how many languages the show has been dubbed into.
Also, the show's somewhat based off of America. I mean, most of the city names are puns of US cities. (Baltimare, Las Pegasus, and Manehatten) Also, Applejack's southern accent is a southern American accent. In other dubs, she can still come off as a farmer girl, but she'll never quite be the same.
All the answers given here are all very much true. And a large part is that the show is made in America.
But think of this.
How many foreign (Countries other than America) channels do you see in the American tv guide? This is true for most other tv providers in the various countries. You don't see many foriegn tv stations in your country.
Then how many channels in America air MLP? The only one I know of is The Hub. That is only 1 station out of the hundreds of channels that are available. So what is the probability that The Hub or the rights to air the show are given to other Non-American shows.
So basically, another reason for the majority of the viewers being American is the chances of the show being aired in other counties.
Liars, liars, the lot of you! My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic is entirely a Canadian production! The only American in the whole production line is Hasbro. Everyone else - From Lauren Faust to the voice actresses/actors to the animators - is Canadian, or lives in Canada! Of course, this doesn't effect the question at all, so I'll move on to the question itself.
There are more American bronies because the U.S. is the (no offence to anyone, especially England) political English-speaking capital of the world. There is a much larger population of fairly wealthy (wealthy enough to have access to cable and the Internet) people in the U.S. than in other regions, and the show is primarily distributed in the U.S. In Canada, we're 2 seasons behind! So, since there is simply a wider relevant audience, and because many of the largest websites are American-oriented, the show spreads around a lot quicker.

I'll be the element of hydrogen! It's the most light, versatile and abundant element in the periodic table. Can't go wrong with that!
Meh, I'd rather be carbon. And not because of all of that "building blocks of life" crap. Just because carbon bonds with basically everything, and isn't hydrogen.

Morager's Gypsy Pinkie Tambourine. Other than some Steam Sale stuff that I got myself (and was mostly condoned because of good grades rather than Christmas) for about $30 altogether, that's it. However, I'm hoping to get myself some tech during Boxing Week.
Oh, and don't feel bad for me.
Hanukkkah was a month ago.

Dude I spelled it that way because mlpwiki spells it that way. Deal with it.
EXCUSE ME!? Now, if you'll be so kind as to excuse me, I have some servers to shut down...

Ugh.... Can you please change the way "Fleur de Lis" is spelled?

Awww, yeah. I've got myself a Max Keyboard Nighthawk X8, with Blue LED's and Brown switches. I love it so much. I also have an MX Black keyboard, which I generally use for travel because it's not as loud. I want to get an ErgoDox, but they're so expensive.

Well, if I were to lock myself in my room, I couldn't probably survive without speaking for long. Why? Because I talk to myself CONSTANTLY. And LOUDLY. But, if I were somehow to keep myself from starting to narrate myself playing video games or reading something aloud, I could probably go for a week or two without talking. I've absolutely no issue with silence, considering my brother was a selective mute for majority of my life, and I'm a pretty introverted person. As a toddler, I've been told I could keep myself entertained in a room with no stimuli and no supervision for hours. Maybe I learned to talk to myself because I used to have tinnitus a lot..? Anyway, this is a forum post, not a therapy chair.
TL;DR: A pretty goddamn long time, if I duct-taped my mouth.
EDIT: Ooops. This is all how long I COULD go on. However, excluding sleeping, I'm pretty sure my record is two and half days. After a very active party on a Frida, I was so socially drained I couldn't talk to anyone, not even my parents, for the entire weekend.

As always, I'm faithfully in on this!

I'll volunteer as a judge. I have tons of experience as a proofreader, editor, writer, and, of course, judge, in the community. I'm not snobbish, but I do have a good footing on what's up.
P.S. @OP - what does your sig say in Hebrew? Acoustic cloud - Hosea?

Obviously, this show is a cartoon and no amount of g's or earth science will help you, but here's something I want to bring to the table.
Sonic Rainbooms are, in total theory and in perfect conditions, completely possible on our Planet Earth. Or my, because I'm a solipsist.
Take the mantis shrimp. Its claws can punch prey so hard the water around them supercavitates, meaning it boils instantly and causes a temporary vacuum and subsequent pressure explosion that creates a shimmering ring of rainbowy light. Now, considering how when RD was first trying the Rainboom, the first part of her trick was to circle clouds several times. Assuming that this was to lightly and evenly coat RD in water, the resistance of low-pressure, high-moisture, high-altitude air, such as that at which she was flying could actually cause the water to supercavitate, and trigger a chain reaction in the surrounding air with the vacuum. Such would create a massive, expanding halo of rainbow - a sonic rainboom!
I'd love to work with someone on the calculations, but unfortunately I can't physics because no university.

First, look under the covers to make sure that I have all my limbs. Then, once I find that my legs have NOT been chopped off by this crazy sumbitch, I kick the crap out of him until he gets outta my bed.

@Shoboni, @Frith is Magik, @ElectronDaydream
Hmm...Metis, Blackfoot, and Newfie. I've never heard of those--what are they?
I'm also seeing a lot of Italians, Scotts, and Norwegians! Go Scotts-Scandinavians! Also, Romance languages are just cool, so...molto benne, ragazze e ragazzi.
And descendants of Daniel Boone, Jean-Olivier Chénier, and some World War vets! Neat!
Viking, eh? That's an cool way to denominate oneself.
Here, I can answer that question for you. Métis, or old French for "Mixed", are second-generation-and-up people who are half French, half First Nations (Aboriginals/"Indians"). This comes from the original settlements in North America in 1608, when French fur traders who moved inland actually escaped their business and started a life with the First Nations. They have an interesting skin tone and appearance, taking the robust figure of Aboriginals, but the smooth white skin of a Frenchman. Blackfoot is a very large First Nations tribe in the Canada area. Finally, Newfie are just people from Newfoundland, a maritime province of Canada with a very interesting and separate culture, mainly based on Irish and Scottish culture instead of French and British. Very funny (comedy-wise) people, and excellent curlers XD

KSP-Creations
in Non-Pony Art & Creations
KSP actually got me into the brony fandom, and thank heavens for that! I've been playing since 0.8.5 or so. Can't wait for 0.24!
