I'd say, repeatedly listening/watching Taryn Southern's music videos is a guilty pleasure. No one can sing about the things she sings about and still remain sexy the entire time. Another would be the obsessive amount of reading of MLP shipping fanfics, whether it's innocent or mature. To the point I ignore all the school work I SHOULD be doing instead. Along with the previous, would be my furry fandom, involving furry art, fics, shows/animes, and RP. And then there's the continuous hours I pour into not just minecraft itself, but minecraft videos on youtube such as the yogscast crew and friends.

I can't say I know anything about the genetics side of the debate, but by hormonal influences, I don't necessarily think it refers to being able to make someone that way. The person would definitely need prolongued exposure. For example, in a Human Sexuality class while I was at a different college, the instructor had used the example of a women's sport. His example was that there are a lot of females at that college who have a sports related scholarship for basketball. Due to the long hours of practice and games, as well as the exposure in the locker rooms, many of them have actually been in lesbian relationships. However, a good question to ask, is did that influence their sexuality? Or is it their sexuality that influenced them to be involved in such a sport where they would be in close proximity with other women? And if it is the 2nd question, then is it more genetics rather than hormones?

I'm Bisexual, and have been around a lot of friends and people that are of pretty much every orientation. Even when I actively played an online game, I recall meeting someone through voice chat that was born male, and you could hear the male voice, but believed that at heart, he was a she. Had a gender change to go with it. One of the nicest people I'd met, but sadly emotionally scarred due to society. I noticed the topic has brought up whether it's born or choice. I personally believed it was choice at first, but as time went on, people began saying it was scientifically proven that it is in fact, something you're born with through genetics. So one day, I started probing questions at my parents, if they'd ever been attracted to the opposite gender in any way throughout their lives. My mom, I was sure was straight, and her answers came off as just that. My dad however, had been in prison most of my life so I didn't grow up with him or have any kind of intuition on his orientation. So I probed questions at him, come to find out he's had a history with males and considers himself bi, but because of his upbringing and his strict parents, he wasn't one to talk about those things. He was adopted, so his parents were straight, strict, and conservative. Sure this isn't a full scientific explanation about whether it's a choice or if you're born with it, however, if in fact I was born with it, then I know I have a piece of the puzzle to support that thought.

lol that's the way to do it. u make ur own decisions and choose what u want and don't want in life. Don't care who tries to say otherwise. In my family, I'm the apple that fell far from the tree and I'd want it no other way XD

hmmm that's a tough one. Despite being interested in the same gender, there are those who are still christian and get accepted that way, though i'm sure it's tough. So maybe the pagan would be the worse one? i dunno lol. I'm personally not religious any but open to all beliefs that any of my friends and family have. I've had a few pagan friends and unless they said so, no one would have guessed they were. Just like any other normal person. But I dunno just how strict ur parents are either lol

lol well, my older sister is very christian, so I dunno if she even knows about me being bi or not. I never told her personally but I have a younger sis that likes to talk. When I told my mom, she questioned me a little but wasn't really surprised or anything, she's mostly calm about that stuff. But, within the next couple days she immediately tried setting me up with a girl she worked with XD Wasn't expecting that much lol.

Lol well, I heard things about Denver. Even years ago before I was born, my mom told me how Denver had gay bars and even parades. I'd have thought if they were that open back then, that they'd be leading the way as well. Who knows, maybe Denver is still in the top 5

@Sugarfree314 That's awesome, I didn't picture Ohio to be up in the #2. I have no idea where Kansas stands, but as it is now I don't think they allow marriages for it yet. Outside of the few bigger cities here, it's mostly old fashioned kind of people, and plenty of farmers/agricultural people. I'm bi myself but have yet to have a girlfriend around here. @LightRaider That looks cool o: Yea definitely haven't been in it. Our city built an "arena" in the past few years where all of our concerts and such happen now, right in the middle of downtown. Before we literally had to go to the edge of town or just outside of town for any concerts which was pretty inconvenient.

I don't know where it was exactly, this was years ago when I was in middle school so I pretty much got dragged where ever it was hoping the day would end soon XD My memory in general of the event is pretty faded out by now. But if the BOK center is where they do most concerts and it existed like, 10 years ago or so then probably was it -Edit- Oh gosh, lag caused the message to copy like, 2 more times. weird

Lol I've been to Tulsa once. I'm ashamed to say that the only reason I was ever there, was cause my older sis dragged me along to a Hanson concert x.x She bought tickets as a surprise even though I didn't like them so I couldn't say no D: Otherwise I didn't stay long enough to look around or do anything else x3

My older sis lives in Missouri, though I'm ashamed to say I don't even know where she lives exactly XD She's moved around a few times since moving to that state and I've yet to visit her at the new place. But in general she's stayed near the Kansas City and Independence areas.

Thanks for all the info guys. I feel blind that I didn't see the search function. I actually was looking around but I'm used to most forums having it like, right next to the make topic/reply topic and so on while there would be a main search bar for the rest of the site. But, I guess there isn't a rest of the site since it's all forums pretty much XD And yea although I was curious about finding others in Kansas in specific, I still like meeting people from other places and I figure there might be other members, probably newer, that haven't taken part in a discussion like this yet. I like meeting international people as well of course. Always make for some dynamic and interesting convos. And Jokuc thanks for the link, I'll be sure to check it out :3 -Edit- Well, even the map of bronies didn't have anyone in Kansas XD so that didn't help me find anyone. Though I found 2 by using the member search. Kansas is just so unpopular, that's why I hoped I could find a few x3

Sorry if a thread like this was made before. I couldn't find any search option so it was hard looking for any. Anyways, I'm more interested in those who live in the US. I live in the state of Kansas. I know, it's boring and flat and has nothing worth visiting for. hmm glad i read this while being so new. So far I've used tinypic for just a couple pic uploads on here but I do have a photobucket account that I can make a separate album for and then switch out my pic sources. I do recall just once when a tinypic of mine on a different forum randomly switched to something else so I know tinypic isn't immune to this issue.

Thanks a bunch :3 I am actually pretty excited. Mostly for the art part atm. I've been dying to get back into art and have actually been dying to do something colorful and nice using oil pastels. Sadly though, I can't find my pastels. I still have so much stuff packed away from coming back home from dorms. Also that's another reason I loved the name that got generated, I immediately saw blues and oranges in my head. Sure they can be seen as ugly since they're opposites but if used right, they compliment each other so well. Haha sorry I'm rambling a bit. I'm just stoke to get started on some art soon. Well, as soon as I can't up again in my studies x3

Pretty new to the forum so I dunno what's out there yet but this, is amazing. I will definitely be watching and waiting for a full version lol. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Fluttershy How did you find MLP Forums?: Well for a while now, I've been indulging in MLP fanfic and fanart but found I don't really have any friends that like MLP a lot and thought that I should find a community so I could find others with similar interests. So I googled and this one looked promising. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Well for a while I've just been so busy with school, I just hadn't had the time to get to know MLP: FIM. Though I do remember growing up with the older MLP shows. I already knew I enjoyed a lot of the fan music/mixes involving MLP, so one day I just decided to sit down and start watching MLP:FIM from the beginning like a marathon. Within a few days I had watched all of both seasons and found myself addicted to it. Like, I literally skipped a midterm just to stay at home and watch it lol. Along with that, I got into reading a lot of MLP fanfiction. I used to read a ton of fanfics for various things in the past but realized I hadn't read any for years. I've just been so busy with school that I forgot to just let myself indulge in such carefree things. I used to draw all the time and now I rarely do. So along with suddenly becoming a fan, I also decided I want to get into a community, get back into drawing, do some fanart, and indulge in fanfics. Well, a little about myself in reality, I'm 23, and a college student. I have recently gotten an associates degree in Visual Communications (graphic design) and working on a bachelor's for Project Management & Administration. But that's boring stuff. I have various interests ranging from graphics designing and hand drawn art, to reading, watching movies and shows that especially have fantasy or scifi in it. I love anime and various cartoons. I also enjoy roleplay, even furry roleplay which I often did through IMVU but have grown bored of it as of late since I just don't have the time for it with school happening. I recently made a rough idea of what my pony persona would be like. First off, I used a name generator and the name Autumn Sprinkles came up for my name. The reason I included this in my intro instead of a character introduction, is because I don't have it developed, I have no background story or personality created for her. So for now, her personality is just my personality. Eventually I want to do real work on her, create art of her, etc. Anyways I hope to make some new friends here :3
