I myself see house as a dictator who tries to follow the ways of the old world the same old world that ended the world the NCR also has an old world government but less so than house on any new Vegas character that I make I side with either the NCR or independent Vegas and on a side note in my opinion house is a corpse with barely any life left in him who has overstayed his welcome.

I could see that. House holds onto the glory of the Old World, aspiring to the ideals of his perfected past.  House is effectively a Renaissance view of Ancient Greece or the Roman Republic (or Roman Empire). House really tries to create his own world, a cold, effective, and fairly acceptable place to live, when all is said and done.  I do feel that House, perhaps with the side of the benevolent Courier, would be the best future for the world. House doesn't seem much corruptable; he's already got all he wants, and he really seems different than any of the moral factions or governments. Personally, I see House as not just the best alternative, but a fairly good alternative, and a good government at that. 

What I'm wondering is why Tirek didn't use Discord's magical abilities once he had claimed said power from him. (since you'd think that taking one's power would also transfer over the abilities) For instance, he took the magic that all 3 raced of ponies rely on as catalyst for their individual strengths- the magic pegasi rely on to boost their flying abilities, the magic earth ponies use to tend the earth, and the magic unicorns use to perform magic. But in taking Discord's power- seeing as how he is the god of chaos, would't it- given that the magic is chaotic in itself, which we've seen- transfer its abilities over to the next person that can utilize them? (unlike the pony's powers, which isn''t like Discord's magic)

 

And given that Discord has already shown to take away pony's wings, horns, ect, as well as manipulate time and space, then Tirek- with Discord's stolen powers- could've easily zapped the horn right off Twilight's head, hidden the Tree of Harmony's box, ext.

I think Tirek was outperformed by Princess Twilight.  Twilight had to ceade her power to Tirek in order for him to take her power; all of the Alicorn magic, plus her own Twilight magic and Twilighticiousness was more powerful than Tirek.  Apparently, all of the Alicorn magic in Equestria was more powerful than both Discord's, Tirek's, and all of the ponies's in Equestria's power.

I'd have to say Portal 2. No other game's ending particularly sticks out in my mind, but Portal 2 definitely does, it waves a flag aboard my mind and jots its course for a brilliant and amazing ending. I'm sure there are certainly more game endings that I would consider better, and given a little time, or a lot of time to play more games, I would update my best game ending response. Portal 2 has an incredibly good ending <3

Simple topic and I know this happens to other people. You think autistic people have this aura, magnetism and attraction that makes people point and laugh when nothing happened? I left the mall an hour ago and these little kids at yogibo were laughing at me. I can accept little kids fooling around. I have had school bus kids laugh at me and just jerks on the main road laugh at me. I shower, I dress in right and I take care of myself. Obviously something is going on here.

I'm sorry they're picking on you, darling. Sometimes, everypony can act mean, even evil, it's an unfortunate reality that will take a lot to end. Keep strong, darling, be proud of who you are, and don't take hede from other people being mean. They're just misguided, and don't know how much of a wonderful person you are <3

I know this will come off across as a melodramatic thread. But it needs to be addressed because tonight I think i have reached my breaking point on keeping ties with my middle school friends. Seems like life advice, but you all are welcome to talk about your experiences, so it's not just about me.

 

Tonight my "friend" was talking down to me. Like he has been doing for 5 years. I have been incredibly patient and supporting of these people. To make a long story short. I met them in 2006 and we became a group. Things were actually pretty cool when we were young teens. I had some strife between them. It seemed it was all about who could amass the most material goods. It is still like that with us today. There is always something to make fun of. It's not healthy making fun of, it's actually condescending and rude. They always talk about how I'm an idiot, how I cannot do anything right. It's always about my flaws and they never address what I have done good.

 

Last month, a friend called me stupid. He didn't say it with his mouth. I actually made him say it, without him talking. I dropped him off at his home. I said "Am I an idiot?" He paused for 2 seconds, that alone is a yes. He would have instantly said no, he would never have had to take a moment to think if he actually cared and knew about me.

 

He calls me an idiot in my own home. I always bought these people food, drove them without asking for gas money. I always supported them when they needed a guide to talk to. But it was never good enough. They always complain about what I worked for. They think my parents pamper me with everything.

 

So I can't continue anymore. I'm 21 and I think friendship cannot be done. It seems people just use others for temporary gain. I have done it myself. So this makes me question...Is love real? Is sacrifice real? Why do we value these merits, but never carry them out? It is really depressing.

I'm sorry they're not treating you as you deserve to be treated. Everypony deserves to be treated nicely, with friendship and kindness, and everypony deserves friends that care and love them for who they are. These people are not truly your friends, they're being mean and behaving like bad individuals. You need to break away from them; just stop communicating with them, at all. One way to get rid of bad things is to get away from them, and ignore them, so say far away from them. This is just the first step of the solution, and its a very , very important one. Just stay away, you'll feel better right away. I hope this helps, they'rs so much help that needs to be given <3

I wouldn't remove any emotions. All emotions serve their own purpose, to protect, to be free, to cherish, to express yourself, to feel the pain. All your life requires all of your emotions; it's never the emotions themselves that are bad. The things that you really want to remove aren't emotions, they're the bad sides of emotions. I would keep all emotions; without which, balance would be lost.

Say someone took away your Internet and TV and you couldn't access any of those things for the rest of your life.

How would you feel?

I could live without internet if otherponies weren't using the internet either. If this was 10 or 15 years ago, or even further (with relative technology, E.G. 90's, even 80's or 70's), I could definitely live without the internet. They'rs so much that can be done offline, in fact I do most things in my life offline. They'rs so much software, so many games I played on computers before the internet. The only real problem is going to pick them up, and that was fun back then! They'rs so many books I have yet to read, I'd be in so much fun reading <3

The main uses I have for the internet for ordering things (or just spending money), learning, enjoying time with friends across the internets, enjoying a little media here and there (some reddit, maybe a little something else sometimes), downloading games, and of course My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: internet, actually, most of that is downloading games and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Oh, and I've forgotten one little thing on that list. I suppose, that would be pretty rough, given that I wouldn't have My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Awww, this is so sweet and heartwarming <3 I'm really happy he's able to work through his friendship problems with the help of a cabbage.   Sometimes, the strangest things lead to the greatest possibilities, the world is truly a magical place. I'm happy for him

I was wondering, seeing as engineering works to make improvements towards a product for maximum convenience and price and such, is there a perfect design that just can't be improved anymore? Say an airplane that somehow has no drag, maximum fuel efficiency from is fuel, etc. what do you think?

One of the interesting things to learn is that imperfection is an inherent part of the design of this universe. Its not readily possible to ever be perfect, in fact, the most perfect designs anypony has ever built in the real world inherently account for the fact that they're wrong. It's not really possible to make anything perfect in application, or to be perfect, just as its impossible to truly know anything; even laws are sometimes overturned when new scientific evidence is put forward, just as Einstein era theories overturned Newton physics. Imperfection, not being perfect is the most perfect you can ever be.

Perfection's boring. Perfection is one of the worst things we can have.

I think so now. Discord spoke so heart-warmingly and sincerely, I think he's really and truly reformed now for good.

I loved this epiosde so much, and I loved Maud Pie   even more! Maud has no more dislikable traits than anypony else;   she's nice, has an intricate fabric of interests and personality, a healthy life, she treats everypony nicely and well, she loves Pinkie with all of her affections, and yet she contrasts so extremely from the Mane Six.   The Mane Six really do share expressing their feelings;   Pinkie, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, even Rainbow, and Twilight, express their emotions physically; everypony can see who they are on the outside.   Maud is so different from them; she's much different about change to her behavior based on the situation, she only shows her emotions when Pinkie almost gets herself killed.  I'm not sure when I started loving Maud, but somewhere in there I did <3

Maud is really like a rock; a really cool, and nice, and loveable. 

Maud just appeals to me so much, every action she takes during the course of the show makes me feel more and more attached to her like a sister. I'm not sure I can express just how much I've grown to love Maud Pie! 

 I see why Pinkie loves her amazing older sister so much!
