This thought has just recently crossed my mind so i thought i would stick it up on here.

I was thinking about pony's and their family's and backgrounds, when i got to scootaloo i realized that as to my knowledge she has no known family (correct me if im mistaken) not only that but she is a Pegasus that is unable to fly and as said by lauren faust she will always be unable to fly. 

now i know things have been looking up for scoots since the sleepless in ponyville episode with her and Rainbow dash but i just feel bad for the little filly's story so far,  i feel she needs some sort of backstory filler and just some more stuff to go her way.

worst hater i have met is in irl at college, pretty much everyone i know knows im a brony unfortunately none of them are themselves but this hater is a dick in general so he shouts at me pony fucker and the usual stuff that anti-bronies say, usually i would let it go over my head and not take note of it, but this time i stood up for myself and got in his face about it and he backed down pretty quickly after i challenged him, a dick and spineless, that's haters for you.

so that's my little story about haters, they are idiots.

I really dont mind sharing anything but stuff such as phone, memory stick, or computer i do not let people touch mainly because i dont want them going through it, i haven't got anything bad on there its just personal stuff.

Ah i thread that may be able to help me, i am a fairly novice programmer i have a slight grasp of c++, a knowledge of java, and am learning python, and for web based stuff i have a decent understanding of HTML, css and i am learning javascript, XML, PHP and MySQL,  

i am trying to pace myself with all this stuff because if i lose focus on it, it will take a long time to get back into the groove of things also i have a lot of spare time but i am looking to focus down on one part.

i have UDK and Unity and panda3d(thanks Discordian it is really helping me expand on python) now the main reason i am tinkering with these engines and building stuff in them(well trying to) is to eventually build my own engine,

oh and i am also making little bits of games here and there when i find the knowledge how do the things

now with all that said i am looking to be pointed in the way of some good books or other places for this stuff i have some books already that i am reading and learning from but i was wondering if you have any in mind that would help me really expand my knowledge to eventually start making some games and maybe start up an small game business, but that's in the future so i don't have to worry about it now.

so whatever advice you could give would be greatly appreciated

well its my mums birthday on the 21st so if the world does end(of which it wont) i will spend time with her and family so it aint all bad.

Alas my hair and eyes are very boring just brown and brown, however under my hair in the fringe i have a spot of bright ginger, its quite  funny everywhere else on my head is brown but if i pull my hair over a bright ginger spot reveals itself.

hmm this is interesting, seeing as you are going for a dark theme will the fetus still develop although its vital survival im guessing organ im not to sure what a umbilical cord is classed as but the fetus may have to still gather food/nutrients i guess, also the umbilical cord could be used as a early weapon maybe, also what is the escape plan, out the mouth im guessing,

just had a thought the development of the fetus could be through killing enemies as you could absorb their powers and with boss fights you could get certain specialty powers 

also if you wanted to add something for the player to relate to the fetus i guess, what you could do is make it think about why this has happened with the abortion and that, i dont know, something like that to add a progressive story to the character 

just spitballing ideas none of much worth but take what you will

Sounds something like KOLM (a flash game about a robot who is has to put himself back together and feels the need to please "mother" but she disapproves of him the whole way)

How are you making this game? I, too, am a programmer (though a novice) and I've been interested in maybe some game design as a hobby. Only languages I know are Javascript, Python and HTML+CSS (and a tiny, itsy-bitsy bit of Java) and I've actually found an engine that can be used for Python and C++ for making games called Panda3D.

 

Maybe we can bounce ideas off of each other some time? I haven't gotten around to checking out Panda3D yet but I've already more or less kinda worked on concepts in my head of how to pull certain things off. My biggest hurdles will be music (which I couldn't make if I tried) and 3D Modeling since I have no idea how to do that or even what language to do that in.

may i just say thank you for telling him/us about the panda3d engine i am also a slightly novice programmer and was looking for a game engine that isn'tas computer intensive as udk and this looks promising 

XD I used to wear a hat 24/7, but then my friends started to complain because they liked messing with my hair.

Do you have an estimate to how many hats you own? Just thought I'd ask.

yeah my uncle who serves in the military gets me involved with training things such a the TA and he got me some dog tags, and for the binary i wanted to have MLP:FiM on them as the show and the fandom now means something to me so i just kinda wanted that on one and it also fit nicely which worked out good

it was quite funny today, the mailman came and rang the bell, i went downstairs in my rainbow dash t-shirt and when i opened the door and went to sign for the package he saw my t-shirt and said "oh rainbow dash, nice" we talked for a couple of minuets about the show, he is a really nice guy,  he had to go and deliver the rest of the mail, but yeah i think its cool that my postman is a brony

Regarding licensed game, I think that with the new iOS game Hasbro released, we may possibly see a MLP related game on the market soon, although I doubt it, for the reasons I said above.

hmm that would be good  , i may see if i can start planning one as i would like that and so far i have i have hardly contributed anything to the fandom and i know having it on xbox with licencing from hasbro is one hell of a long shot but if that doesn't work out i can always try to release it on pc plus it is good to have a goal.

Learn something like C#, that's what most indie games I know are coded in. If you did get their permission, it would be pretty cool to see a game on the Marketplace.

I am currently studying game programming so maybe i could start a mlp game  that will take a long time though and im not that good, but i think eventually we may have a professional one up which would be awesome.

ah, that is a good point, i never really realized that about only having released games for avatar items, maybe one day we will have some mlp stuff from microsoft.

I thought it would be good to have some mlp avatar clothing/items for xbox live, personally i would love a mlp t-shirt with the logo or some cutie marks.

i have had a look for some forums about this but haven't found any so if you have any ideas for avatar items or even better how to get Microsoft to make them that would be great. 

i can see no downside for microsoft or hasbro for this.

i got 68 wpm after a few tries however i can type faster if im typing from thought and not having to change my line of sight as i am not that great at typing without looking at the keyboard but when i do i am relatively fast.

My first name (jamie) is ok bit dull but i like it mainly because i have become accustomed to it so it feels natural, however it is a bit annoying having a last name that no one can pronounce as i have to spell it fully out for them on forms and on the phone it is also funny to hear people try to say it.

I prefer the British spelling of things as it is what i have grown up with, however it is slightly annoying how words such as colour are not recognized in html and many a time i have spent a long time going over errors to find i have just "misspelt" color from force of habit.

this may not count but the only time i have cried at something with true emotion since i was about 7 was when i read my little dashie it was inspired by my little pony so i think that may count but if you are asking about sitting watching a cartoon and crying then sorry no.

gotta say i have two, one would be a pair of dog tags on one i have some personal stuff but on one of them the other i have 01001101010011000101000000111010010001100110100101001101 which is binary for MLP:FiM, my other is my memory stick that i keep a lot of my projects on.

this sounds like a good idea, i have read the fanfic and i liked it, but im mainly leaving this comment if in future you need male voice actors i'd be happy to help.

That hat is brilliant, you have done a very good job and the only flaw that i can see is that her eye is slightly off center from her other eye, other than that an amazing drawing.

pinkie with that gun... i don't think that will end well, for the enemies. also fluttershy looks absolutely amazing. also i think rarity would be good with a sniper.

they are good pics il look forward to seeing the derpy sketches and im not too good at the body's i dont know what it is but they are always disproportionate.
