    The only real similarity between her and Gilda though, is the way they treated every pony else. They had differing reasons for their actions - Gilda was a lot older, but had been so used to looking down on every pony all her life that her venom was through arrogance and vanity (a path that Rainbow Dash could have unluckily followed if she hadn't met her new friends), Babs Seed simply took sides. Worn out from the exhaustion of fending off bullies in her school, she saw the opportunity to avoid being a victim and took it.

    Through personal experience, bullying is a hard one to get out of. You are always told to tell a responsible adult, yet my parents simply said "Just ignore them" or "tell a teacher" (and the teachers usually just told the bullies to stop and leave it at that). But I digress, although the moral of her episode is arguably a bad one (yes, Babs is a girl ) this is more of an analysis of her character, whether she is valued by our fellow bronies or frowned upon for her mistakes.

    So, your opinion is: Despite Babs' multiple accounts of bullying, she can be excused because she is only a young filly, and every pony makes mistakes. (Forgive me if I am wrong) I share your opinion here. And thank you, I hope to get a lot of discussion on this thread. :3

    Hello everypony. It's been a while since I've been active on here but I have decided to create a video analysing Babs Seed as a character. I want to involve both positive and negative opinions, so any pony who so wishes can express themselves honestly (and critically) about how they feel about Apple Bloom's cousin. Any and all opinions welcome. (I'm not sure this is in the right thread. If it's not, I apologise).

    I love Trixy's design and her character, she wasn't all that likeable but her appearance in this season has made her more popular. The fact she made the effort to apologise rather than maintain her pride was evidence that she might be changing, but rather than leaving the past in the past she let it get to her and sought a way to humiliate Twilight. Revenge is NOT an answer. Even then, she did not solely punish twilight alone, but Snips, Snails and other ponies who were simply on the sidelines of the previous confrontation. Although it was brave of her to aid Twi and apologise to her face - it wouldn't be enough. Trixy abused other ponies with the powers she gained to abuse Twilight. She should be forgiven, but face the consequences of her actions behind bars first.

    I have Rainbow Dash tattooed on my hip, so I wouldn't be able to take ponies off my mind even if I wanted to. Around 75% of the time, my mind is on ponies, 20% its on my hobby and my college work and 5% is on Pokemon. That's just a brief round up of what goes on in my mind. Becoming a brony is the best thing that ever happened to me. Am I obsessed?

    I understand your point and agree with you to a degree. It is a sign of weakness to side with a bully. But you have to remember her age. She is just a filly, a young one without her blank flank. She's allowed to make mistakes like this at her age. And when you think about it, to a filly a position of power over another is way more appealing than being a victim. She had to make a snap decision - and unfortunately she took the wrong one. I didn't like her as a bully, I love Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle and felt so bad for them. To be honest, I wanted to see them get their own back on her. But it took courage to turn around and stand up to Diamond Tiara (Silver Spoon not so much, as she's a follower more than anything). And that was the pivot point for me. That's what made me like her. I also adored her accent. Her fur colour - not so much.

    Imagine it extending across the pony world. Blank flanks EVERYWHERE are a member of the secret society hidden underneath the movement of everyday life... I feel like I'm making them sound like the Illuminati...

    I do have a theory that the season in which the CMC get their cutie marks is evidence that the MLP:FiM generation is coming to a close. The makers could always be cruel and never let them find their cutie marks, but it'd leave all the fans disappointed.

    Animation Errors sometimes can't be helped. I heard that MLP is mostly animated on Flash... If this is true, then some of these errors are programme related. I doubt they'd make animation errors on purpose though. I didn't notice Scootaloo was wingless in this shot and it was probably the case for a lot of bronies - so it's only natural that something like this might fall through the cracks. However, they do normally have a good attention to detail, the animation in this is some of the best I've seen in years. So you have to give them some lee-way.

    That is true, but it also depends on the hype from the fans. I've noticed that if the fans desperately want to see a particular character again, they're more likely to make an appearance. Its how Derpy got her debut, and how Luna (and Trixie) were more developed as well. And on top of this, Pinkie Pie breaks the fourth wall and physics a lot more too. Not many people seemed wowed by Babs Seed so I'm not 100% sure she'll pop up any time soon.

    So a lot of Bronies think she is under developed. Do you think she'll come back, or is this the last we've seen of that 'Bad city attitude'?

    You see, that's exactly why I love her to bits. I got bullied myself, so I understand it can be a struggle. But her ability to stand up for herself and the CMC at the end just showed how much she'd matured from that experience. As I keep telling myself - "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". And Babs is a good example of this. My boyfriend, however, didn't think this excused her from her poor behaviour to begin with. >.>

    After watching the most recent episode, I found I loved the new filly to bits. I just loved how she gained her confidence at the end. But when I asked my boyfriend, he was really confused. He couldn't understand why I liked her. So I want to know your opinions. Is Babs really a Bad Seed? Or am I right to love her?

    I've had a couple of people suggest Jigglypuff as she's pink and likes singing - but I originally thought of Totodile because of Pinkie's Pet, Gummy. Jiggly puff seems more popular atm though.

    Oopsy! My bad. :S That must've happened when I changed the colour of the outline, it was originally too light. But when I changed it, it pixelated and I think the colour went pear-shaped when I tried to fix it. xD Thank you for noticing! Thank you! And yes, now that you mention it, it does look a tad small... But Ah well, next time I'll get it right hopefully. Next I'll be drawing AJ and Growlithe. :3

    I still need to work on my backgrounds, but here's the promised Rainbow Dash and Swellow picture. I'll probably be doing Apple Jack and Growlithe when I next have some spare time, then seeing as there's a tie between the rest, I'll hold another vote.     I really want to draw the Dashy one, but wanted to see what everyone else thought first. She seems to be a winner at the moment though, I've gotta practice drawing her mane though. >.< She's the one I struggle with most unfortunately, even if I do have a crush on her think she is the best pony. <3
