  1. I'm also looking for chests. I'm on the quest where I need 15, but I've been on this quest for about a week and I've only gotten one. My GL name is mizzie1980. Thanks!
  2. It's not so much the actual cost. I'm already at the point where 1000 bits isn't really a big deal. It's more that they set it up to have something cost 10 times the amount for twice as much "product". I guess it just rubs me the wrong way.
  3. Do the little pony leveling games seem unreasonably exspensive to anyone else? Not the game itself, but the higher balls and apples. It doesn't make sense to pay 100 bits for a regular ball/apple, and 1000 bits for one that gives you twice as many points. From where I'm standing, 10 times more money for twice as much isn't a good deal!!! Why in Equestria would I pay for that! Would you pay $3.50 for a gallon of milk or $35.00 for 2 gallons? It should be a deal to buy the higher ones. Something like: 100 bits for regular, 400 bits for 5 times the points. You'd be getting 5 times the amount for only 4 times the money.
  4. Not only is the location different (a cutie mark would be on the upper thigh/hip on a human, a "tramp stamp" would be above the tail on the lower back of a pony), the intent is different, as is the application. A cutie mark happens, naturally, when a pony has found her special talent. It is also not only accepted, but expected, as something that just happens. It's more like puberty than a tattoo. A tattoo is something you pay to have put on you, that can, but not always, represent some aspect of who you are. It may or may not be publically accepted, depending. Personally, I've always hated the term "tramp stamp", because of the implication that any female with a lower back tattoo is a whore. I honestly think it's a lovely place to put a tattoo, but feel I can't get one there because of the public perception of it. I HIGHLY doubt that any little girl watching MLP is going to go "welp, better go get a low back tattoo and start being a slut." It's much more likely that they will see, and identify with, others struggling with wanting to grow up faster, which is a common feeling.
  5. Nope, I don't really like her either. She does have a few redeming qualities, but they are FAR too often overshadowed by worse ones. I know deep down her heart is good, but I've never liked people (or ponies) who hid their good side under a shell of arrogance. I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate her, but she's my least favorite of the mane 6.
  6. Eh, I just really didn't like this episode. I'm not a big RD fan as it is and the last episode was already RD heavy. Like someone else said, it's a "someone goes to camp" episode. Seems like every show has one, I'd like to see a little more originality. I do agree that some of Dash's better qualities came out, but in the past she's been just like Lighting Dust many times. I was ok with the way the Academy was set up though, but I don't think it's "one week at the Academy = instant Wonderbolt", I think it's really more like summer camp for ponies interested in being a Wonderbolt. It's a good way to see if you would stand a chance or not... and if you really want to.
  7. Finally got my Gameloft live set up, so feel free to friend me! My gameloft user name is mizzie1980. I need chests and hearts, will return the favor. Thanks!

    Um... hi?

Thanks for the welcomes! It kind of is frustrating to like something that is actually really popular, but just not with people I know, or people in this area. It's the same with my love for Jonathan Coulton (any JoCo fans here? hehe) and Harry Potter (Potter-heads, anyone?). Oh well, no matter. Hubby accepts me and all my weirdness. Most of my friends area great people and all, but think I'm a bit strange and sometimes childish in the things I like. I say, if an adult can't watch cartoons and play with legos when they want to, what's the point of being an adult?

    Um... hi?

My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Fluttershy How did you find MLP Forums?: Google search How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Honestly, I kept seeing memes about MLP and finally decided to see what all the fuss was about. So, imagine my surprise at being here. As stated above, I kept seeing memes about the show and hearing about "bronies", etc, and decided to see for myself what it is about. Watched the show, in secret, on Youtube and now I'm at the end of the second season. I haven't seen the first two of season 3 yet, that'll happen tomorrow. Anyway, I'm a 32 year old wife and mother. I work full time, am a Girl Scout leader and have way, way too many hobbies and demands on my time. Sadly, none of my friends are really into MLP. The one who might have been just hasn't really watched it and doesn't seem interested. My hubby, while great in most ways, wouldn't like it and (and this is the really sad part!) my 8 year old daughter is really kind of "meh" about the show. Which is really too bad, because that would be a great excuse to watch it on Saturday mornings! Oh well, as it is I'll just watch as I can online and talk to all you fine ponies here.
