@@Umbreon, @@Sylveon, Stella was somewhat confused by the pattern Seviper was going in. It would make the move a bit difficult to counter. However, she believed it was still possible to pull off. She put a hand out towards Muna, stopping him from moving forward at all. She looked rather confident all of the sudden. "I've got this." She said with a grin. "Alright. Helioptile, in front of Axew. Shield him from any possible attacks." Heloptile nodded, giving Stella a cautious glance. She obviously had no idea what her trainer was up to, but jumped in front of Axew nonetheless. As Seviper neared, Stella pulled out a pokeball. "Alrighty Axew! Return!" Axew gasped in surprise as it disappeared into a red light. Helioptile was equally confused, but kept her eyes on Seviper, who was almost upon her with it's tail. "Now, Parabolic Charge!" Helioptile released an arch of electric current. A move that would have hit Axew if it was still out. Parabolic Charge would do one of two things. The first was hit Seviper. This would slow down the poison type considerably. The second was that Seviper would leap into the air to dodge the attack. This would be the best outcome for what Stella had planned. "Now, Axew. Use Slash on the slit in Seviper's tail!" The fact Axew had been summoned instead of attacking normally allowed it to hit Seviper from above, giving it much more of a chance to hit where Stella had commanded it to, hopefully that would drive Seviper's tail into the ice.
  2. ((I am well aware. However, it's quite hard to move right after using an attack. So yea. Also, that's fine.)) Roxie sighed and covered her face. What was this trainer even doing? She had had her fill of waiting already regardless, so she would simply have to give Qwilfish it's next command. "Alright. Pin Missile!" Qwilfish fired the pin missiles at Croagunk once again. The woman shook her head and giggled at Tiana's actions. How naive she was. She clearly didn't know she was surrounded. Either that, or she was overly confident in her abilities. The woman then climbed up to the tallest part of the truck she had been standing on, and shut the cover over the trunk with one of her feet, hiding the equipment. "Alright! Listen up! I gotta check on Keldeo, so I'm going to leave. In the mean time..." The woman pointed at Tiana, Cilla, and Lurele, who were now all quite close to each other. "You can kill these ones I guess. They could be a liability, after all!" All of the other people around murmured something along the lines of "Yes, Pelonite.". Pelonite was most likely the woman's name. The woman then spoke out again, summoning another pokemon and returning Dragonair to it's own pokeball. "Alrighty Mandibuzz! Let's go!" She said, summoning the dark type, then jumping onto it's back. The Mandibuzz, surprisingly strong, began to fly at top speed in the direction Keldeo had gone. Before long, she was out of sight. The other trainers about all begun to surround the three girls. Some of them pulled out pokeballs, about to summon pokemon. Though there weren't enough of them to completely surround the three, so a route to the ruins was still open.
  3. Qwilfish was flung back by the Counter, which hit it with great precision. It took some time to re-adjust itself, but eventually managed to do so. "Huh. So that does double the damage, right? Alrighty! Wait until Croagunk makes a move then, Qwilfish?" Roxie said, and Qwilfish did absolutely nothing. She seemed perfectly content with dragging this battle out for as long as possible. Terrakion merely grunted at Lurele's words, as it used it's horn to block another move from Keldeo. At this point, Keldeo was simply enraged. It continued to throw attacks at Terrakion. Terrakion was starting to look rather tired as well. The woman didn't seem to notice the fact Tiana had been freed. The loud noises from the battle made it impossible to hear the grunt holding Tiana fall down. She did notice the pokeballs she had just acquired slowly slipped from her grasp. She reached out to grab them. "No! Come back!" She exclaimed, trying to grab them again. This action was interrupted by something getting caught in the corner of her eye. Lucario, to be specific. It was just about to attack her. She gasped loudly, and braced herself for the impact. However, the impact never happened. Keldeo had stepped in front of the woman and used Quick Guard to block Lucario's attack. The woman looked completely dazed. She had not been suspecting that, and neither did any of the grunts, who had been rushing forward to save her. Terrakion used this moment to flee, running rather quickly in the rough direction of the ruins. Keldeo made no attempts to follow, simply remaining in the spot it had used Quick Guard in. "Huh." The woman said in response to the actions of Keldeo. She didn't seem nearly as surprised as any of the other grunts. "Well that was a bit anti-climac-." She sounded like she was sulking, but her words were cut off by the screen she had been monitoring before suddenly flashing red and beeping loudly. She grit her teeth, and jumped onto the back of the truck it rested on. After a while of messing with it, the monitor suddenly shut off. "Jeez. Well wasn't that a big bust?" The woman thought aloud, bringing a hand to her head. Keldeo looked around with a confused expression, before bounding off in a random direction. Furfrou managed to bite down on Mara just before it was hit. Though the confusion managed to throw Furfrou back, causing it to pant loudly, it's Bite still hit. Hopefully that would tilt things in Furfrou's favor. The trainer was rather confused by Sable's expression, followed by her words, to the point where he said nothing at all as she left. When Umbreon said something, the trainer smiled at it. "Oh! No need to worry! He said in a rather chipper voice. "I'm used to it anyway." Once Umbreon had left, following Sable, the trainer brought his attention to the Rhyhorn. "Well. I suppose we should go back to your trainer..." When Sable arrived at the gym, someone was standing outside of it. They were wearing a completely black suit, with grey hair and eyes. He ran a hand through his hair when he noticed Sable. "You haven't seen a Rhyhorn about, have you?" He asked her.

@@Umbreon, @@Sylveon, Stella immediately returned Phanpy and Magikarp to their pokeballs once Audino had healed them, sighing and putting the pokeballs in her bag. She wouldn't have to worry about the health of those two. On normal terms, she would have rushed towards a pokecentre, but she obviously couldn't right now regardless if she knew the two were fine or not. Once she had finished nervously fiddling with the things in her bag, Stella followed Muna into the Den. When she had arrived, Dustox had already intercepted the Thunder. Kinda impressive, as much as she didn't want to admit to another trainer possibly being better than her. Stella was about to summon Axew to intercept whatever attack it was Emolga had planned, when something rushed passed her, knocking her into one of the walls of the entranceway. "Ow..." She muttered, squeezing Helioptile who had just fallen off her head. The girl then looked to see what the force was. "Clair. Of course. Though I suppose that means I'm not going to die here, I guess..." Stella didn't seem at all content about the fact Clair had arrived. She didn't want to have to say another word to the gym leader, as she had run away at the end of their battle. Oh well. At least Clair hadn't seem to noticed her yet. When Viro summoned her next pokemon, it was one Stella was very familiar. Seviper had been one of the first pokemon she had ever caught, back at her home in the Hoenn region, so she knew the most effective ways to battle with one. Thus, she knew the perfect way to counter one. Helioptile wouldn't be helping here. "Okay... Axew!" She said, summoning the only pokemon of hers who had no clue what was going on. Axew stood proudly for a second, then looked around with a confused expression. "Scary Face on Seviper!" Axew growled at Seviper, looking as intimidating as an adorable pokemon like Axew could.
  5. ((I feel like I should point out that Pin Missile is a physical move.)) Roxie was still having trouble keeping her composure, as Qwilfish easily moved out of the way of Croagunk. Just because the fish was smaller didn't mean it was slower, or weaker in any way. It was simply harder to hit. "Okay. You know what to do, Qwilfish!" Qwilfish began to fire yet more Pin Missiles at Croagunk, this time from it's side.
  6. ((This'll be my last post until later today. Cos easter and all.)) Qwilfish was brought further down by the mud on it to the point it was basically on the ground. Roxie scoffed somewhat, then begun to laugh. "Ah! You're so funny!" She said, trying to keep her composure (and failing). "You act like something like that will do you any good! Jeez. Qwilfish, use Minimize again, please!" Qwilfish grew tinier, causing majority of the mud on it to fall off, thus giving it more altitude. "Annnnnnnnnd Pin Missile!" Qwilfish began to fire yet another barrage of arrows at Croagunk. "Well, whatever. It doesn't really matter." The woman said, looking at the battle currently taking place. Her eyes then suddenly lit up, and she turned back to Tiana. "Oh yea! I forgot the formality!" The woman walked towards Tiana again, grinning at her cornily. She then grabbed Tiana's purse off of her, and searched through the contents inside, pulling out the two pokeballs containing both Purrl and Sasha. She then gave the purse back to Tiana. "Hopefully one of these are cool. I could use some new pokemon! But I guess I'll take them anyway." She then turned away from Tiana again, looking at what was happening with her Dragonair, and spinning one of Tiana's pokeballs on her index finger. Terrakion had been parrying Keldeo just long enough to note the fact Lurele had been captured by a Dragonair, presumably from one of the people who had suddenly appeared moments after Keldeo had. This was not concerning. The Dragonair most likely sought to remove her from the area of combat. So, Terrakion paid the events no heed. Then, suddenly, a Lucario appeared, most likely also owned by someone in grey. It then slashed at Dragonair, and from Terrakion's view, also the girl. Terrakion suddenly backed up, almost into Lurele and the two pokemon. Lucario had been successful in loosening the binds of Dragonair's coils, to the point where Dragonair had slithered off of Lurele, looking distastefully at Lucario. Then something hit Lucario. The back two hooves of Terrakion, to be specific. Terrakion had hit Lucario with a super-effective Double Kick, as to knock it away from Lurele, who the legendary thought was being hurt by Lucario. It then proceeded to block Keldeo's attempts at attacks, though those seemed a bit weaker and slow for some odd reason.
  7. Roxie stepped back a bit, as to dodge the mud that was flying up. She didn't normally mind getting dirty, but this was one of the last gym leader outfits she had that was still clean. As she did this, she noted a new challenger out of the corner of her eye, though she paid him no heed. Some of the mud hit Qwilfish's belly. It looked confused for a second, but then hovered down a bit, finding itself suddenly heavier. "Keep going with Pin Missile!" Roxxie commanded, and Qwilfish did exactly that. ((Oops. Accidently hit post. My bad.)) Pumpkaboo looked around confused. Why had Gastly left? She looked around nervously, before deciding to follow the trainer into the clearing. Both Throh and Sawk looked at Locke with the utmost confusion. Sawk shot Throh a questioning glance, to which Throh shrugged at. Throh then walked behind Locke, and tried to usher him into the clearing where quite a few grass types played, just like they had done to Sentret. Pumpkaboo arrived in the clearing only a few seconds after Throh began to push Locke away. It hovered right in front of Locke. "Boo." It said. "Zorua? What did I say?" A trainer said, who had suddenly appeared from behind a building. He had long, light green hair, and wore a black and white hat. Zorua whined at his words, but then jumped onto his shoulder and snuggled into his white shirt. The trainer then walked up to Rhyhorn, and reached down to pat it on the head. Rhyhorn violently shook his head towards the trainer, who immediately stopped patting the Rhyhorn and stammered back. He then looked away. "I see." He said, presumably talking to the Rhyhorn. "I must apologize for that then. Erm. Both of those, rather." Zorua scoffed when the trainer looked at it. It refused to admit to doing anything wrong. With the words of the trainer, Rhyhorn had settled down a bit, leaving only Sable to be attended to. The man looked at her. "Are you alright?" He asked her. Just before Tiana could successfully knock-out the woman, the woman suddenly spun around and grabbed Tiana's arm, twisting it backwards and unarming her. "There's a whole lot of you? Jeez." She said, then looked at Tiana with an odd look. She held that look until one of the other people there with much duller clothes had apprehended her. "Hey. Is it just me or have we met before? I feel like I've seen you somewhere." Dragonair was nearing closer and closer to Lurele. The dragon stayed low to the ground, as to avoid any possible hits by the two legendary pokemon. It then tried to use Wrap around Lurele.
  8. ((No, seeing as there clearly weren't any mentioned in the description of the area. That said, I have nothing to say to this post.)) Pumpkaboo began to make disjointed sounds again, this time looking like it was thinking aloud to itself. This time, the sounds roughly meant "Really? I'll just have to steal you away when that weird guy isn't looking then.". It then looked at Gastly again, and produced the odd sounds yet again. "Speaking of which, is it just me or does your trainer kinda look like a girl?" Sawk was quite prepared for the hit. Sentret had taken a long time to actually execute it, and it gave the fighting type plenty of time to use Counter, flinging Sentret off into a bush. Roxie looked confused for a moment. She couldn't read this trainer's tactics in the slightest, and he always seemed so confident about them too. Especially about the bad ones. Then, Roxie had an idea. She suddenly grinned. Qwilfish didn't need to be on the ground at all times. It could fill it's body up with air, and hover, as it had been doing for about the entire battle. Meaning the mud on the ground would mostly impact Croagunk. Meaning she could have fun with this. "Use Bubble at the ground, Qwilfish!" Qwilfish fired bubbles where the mud had landed, causing the arena to become rather slippery. The girl who had been monitoring the large equipment on the back of one of the trucks got up and whistled when Lurele had appeared. "Wow. Kurai really can't do his job, huh?" She exclaimed, loudly enough for Lurele to hear. "He had the one job of making sure no one came this way... Jeez." The woman talked in a somewhat bubbly tone, unfitting for what she had been saying. The other people around murmured to one another. Lurele had reached the two legendary pokemon by the time the woman had finished talking, though the two hadn't stopped fighting one another the entire time. Keldeo was still swinging it's horn at Terrakion, who was skillfully dodging every potential blow. Keldeo eventually gave up with the horn swinging. It backed up somewhat, and looked at the woman who had gotten up from the equipment. The water pokemon looked to have zoned out. Terrakion, on the other hand, noticed Lurele. Who was this girl? Why was she so close to the battle? Was she an idiot or something? When Keldeo finally gained control of it's senses again, it fired another Hydro Pump at Terrakion, as well as Lurele, who Terrakion was now standing very close to. Terrakion used Protect again, protecting both itself and Lurele. Another explosion sounded, and the ground rumbled again. The woman who had just been talking through her head back and began to scratch her hair, clearly frustrated. She looked to have bright blue eyes, and orange hair. She wore a similar outfit to that of the Kyurem follower Lurele had seen in Virbank, except the split cape he wore had been replaced with a completely light blue scarf. She suddenly spoke up again, after calming down a bit. "Whatever. We just won't let him waste in time in gross places like Virbank I guess. Now..." The woman pulled out a pokeball, and summoned a Dragonair from it. "Dragonair! Apprehend this crook!" Furfrou was looked around with a dazed expression when its fangs only bit down on air, then was hit by the Confusion again, this time being thrown a bit further. It got up, and glared at Mara. "Alright, no use sulking, Furfrou. use Bite." Furfrou charged towards Mara, this time making sure it didn't teleport.

@@Sylveon, Stella paused at the boy's offer. She spun around to face him, for the first time actually making direct eye contact with him. "You can if you want, I guess. Though they've both fainted." She said bluntly, summoning both Phanpy and Magikarp who had indeed fainted. When the trainer said his name, Stella was about to answer back, when she felt something land on her head. She then felt something moving on her head, and a soft sound being produced from said something. Helioptile also heard the sound. It climbed up onto Stella's head, and looked at Dustox with great distaste. She swiped at the bug type with her tail, letting it fall off of Stella's head for the girl to be able to catch it in her arms. Stella looked at it for a few seconds, before spinning around suddenly and exclaiming; "Oh! You're so cute!" She then began to hug Dustox, completely ignoring anything else going on.

@@Umbreon, @@Sylveon, Stella scratched her head. She was clearly frustrated. Not only had Boomburst just basically blown her ears out, but Mawile had been healed from Helioptile's Thunder Wave as well. Joy. Helioptile, seeing no other options, retreated onto Stella shoulder again. Phanpy had been taken by surprise by the loud noise of Boomburst, and didn't notice the Magikarp flying into him. The two slid across the ice in front of Stella, Phanpy having fainted. "Phanpy, return. Good job." The girl said, pulling out a pokeball to return Phanpy to. Magikarp looked to be completely fine, and flopped happily about. Then the energetic one pointed at both her and the boy that had randomly showed up. She commanded her Chatot to attack them, and Stella winced in preparation to be thrown back. However, instead of that, Magikarp had jumped in front of the bulk of the attack, absorbing most of the hit that was about to hit Stella ((Though not Muna)). The water type was flung back into her arms, and the girl skid back a few feet, though managed to remain on her feet. Magikarp had fainted, and Stella pulled out a pokeball to return it. "Your legacy will be remembered." She stated, returning Magikarp to it's pokeball. "Damn... I'm down to two pokemon. No way Axew can do anything against a fairy like Mawile, and Helioptile can't do much with Vileplume around..." Stella pet Helioptile lightly on the head, as to mean no hard feelings. She then began to walk towards the Dragon's Den, carefully making sure not to fall on the ice. She breathed slowly. "Can't give up yet... The poor dragon types might be hurt..."
  11. Mareep popped right back out of the ball, tilting it's head yet again. It looked to have no clue what was going on. It also looked to have had it's fill of Tempest, and turned it's back towards him, starting to graze. The Confusion easily hit Furfrou, sending it skidding back, though the pokemon remained on it's feet. "Let's see..." Cheren said, trying to think. He wasn't fond of Furfrou being hit by moves that didn't do physical damage, due to Furfrou's ability. "Alright. Use Work-up, then Bite again." Furfrou barked in confirmation of hearing the command, and started to look upset yet again, then bounded towards Mara. "Alright Qwilfish. Use Minimize again." Roxie said, flipping her hair slightly. She had no doubt she was going to lose this. Qwilfish grew small yet again, and avoided the Mud-slap. It then appeared on Croagunk's other side. "Pin Missile!" Qwilfish fired the same attack it did before at Croagunk, despite the fact it didn't work last time. When Lurele had gotten up, she could see a few completely black cars scattered about. Odd. Cars weren't exactly designed for driving in such sandy conditions. Most of the cars were big, and could hold quite a lot of things inside of them. One of said larger cars was already open. It looked to be monitoring something, and someone wearing a grey dress and bow was monitoring the data displayed on the screen. All of the vehicles were huddled around the source of the shaking ground. A large fight had occurred between two pokemon only Unova natives would know the names of. One was beige, with a furry light blue crest, blue hooves, an orange mane with three tufts of different colors sticking out from it, and a blue horn protruding from it's head. The other was much bulkier. It looked to have two brown horns that curved forward, and was mostly beige and grey. "Keld...!" The smaller one exclaimed, blasting a pump of water at the larger one, who protected itself from the blast. The collision of Protect and Hydro Pump caused a small explosion, causing the ground to shake again. The blue one's horn then began to glow, and it swung at the grey one with it. ((Keldeo is in resolute form, for the record.)) - Nacrene City - Nacrene City didn't have many things of note in it. The only things around were the usual amenities, a cafe, the museum which doubled as a gym, and the Seekers building. This one looked different from the one in Aspertia, as the embellishments on it were black instead of the white the Aspertia one had. No pokemon could be seen in the immediate area, except for a shaking tree. ------------ ((The following only refers to Vaporeon's character.)) As Sable stepped into the town, a loud noise could be heard. It sounded like something running, getting closer with every given second. Eventually, the ground began to rumble as the sound got closer, and closer, to the point where the source could be seen. A Rhyhorn was barreling right towards Sable, looking like it was running away from something. Said "something" was a Dragonite. It was chasing the Rhyhorn, looking to be quite enjoying itself while doing so. When it noticed Sable, it gasped in annoyance, then landed in between Rhyhorn and the girl. The impact of the two caused Rhyhorn to stop, but poor Dragonite was flung backwards, right into Sable's arms. This would normally be a problem for a girl the size of Sable, but the impact had caused Dragonite to shed it's disguise. In reality, it was a Zorua falling into her arms. ------------ Turtwig nervously looked at the pokeball, then back to Cillia. She seemed friendly enough, even if her cat-thing had hurt the grass type. It shook it's head and puffed up it's chest, then tapped the button the pokeball with it's head. The pokeball opened, absorbing Turtwig into it, then begun to shook. One... Two... Three. The pokeball stayed shut. Turtwig has been caught.

@@Sylveon, Stella was taken by surprise when one of the two trainers suddenly running up to her side to help with fighting the duo freezing the lake for whatever reason. He talked with a somewhat flirtatious voice, or at least that's what it sounded like. Stella was immediately repulsed by this. She couldn't stand it when people hit on her. Though she would have liked to say something along the lines of "I don't need help.", nothing could be farther from the truth. Then he insulted her plan of attack. Jeez. This guy wasn't exactly the brightest when it came to winning over a woman's heart, huh? Stella sighed, and covered the side of her face the boy was standing, trying to ignore him, and focus on the battle at hand. Then she noticed the two pokemon he had. Cascoon and Audino? I'm the dumb one for using unevolved pokemon? Jeez... She thought. Cascoon is even worse than Magikarp, and Audino doesn't evolve at all. This guy...
  13. Mareep tilted it's head. It looked at the pokeball with great confusion, clearly not knowing what it was. Since it didn't know what the device was, Mareep's first course of action was to chew on it, to no prevail. It looked back up at Tempest, remaining confused. "Qwilfish, minimize!" At Roxie's command, Qwilfish suddenly became tiny enough to avoid Croagunk's attack. Once it had reverted back to regular size, it was at Croagunk's side. Revenge was already in mid execution. "Now, Pin Missile!" Qwilfish begun to fire an array of spikes at Croagunk. ((Not sure if you guys are there yet, but I'll make the description for Route 4 now.)) - Route 4 - Route 4 was quite vacant when compared to the likes of Castelia city. The route was rather sandy. Though there was quite a few buildings on the route towards Castelia, construction was apparently halted when some form of ruins were discovered. Some buildings aren't even fully built in the more sandy areas. A cliff overlooked water, to which said water was accessible through stairs carved down the cliff. In the water swam Clamperl, and Finneon. Route 4's usual wildlife was easily found. A Minccino, Sandile, Darumaka, Trubbish, and Helioptile could all be found scattered around the route. An unknown entity hid in one of the half finished buildings. The route seemed to have suffered a major battle recently, though any major damage or evidence pointing to potential culprits looked to have been removed.
  14. "Baah!" Mareep cried loudly when Tempest approached. It seemed friendly enough. The wild pokemon in the pens were naturally friendly to people, as they saw them often. ((I had the idea to make it that adorable when you said you didn't want it. I'm spiteful like that.)) Once Pumpkaboo had stopped it's infatuated state, it looked Revvy right in the eye. It then began to spout sounds that could only be comprehended by other pokemon. The noises roughly translated too. "What's a fellow ghost type like you doing with a trainer like that? Especially one so cute! How about we run away together?" As Pumpkaboo said this, it made exaggerated expressions to convey urgency. When Sentret entered the arena, the two pokemon immediately stopped fighting. This pokemon clearly wasn't from the forest. Those guys would leave the two fighting types alone to do what the typing suggested. Throh sighed at the Sentret's request, while Sawk tried to usher it to a clearing where a bunch of grass types were playing together. Furfrou proudly puffed its chest out at Mienfoo's return. It would count this as a victory for now. The proudness of Furfrou led it to have no hope in dodging Disable, and Headbutt was made no longer usable. Cheren merely tilted his head, then put a hand to his chin. "This is a psychic type, no?" Cheren thought aloud. "I suppose I wouldn't use Headbutt in that case, anyway. Furfrou, use Bite." Furfrou began to run towards Mara, running in a slightly zigzagged pattern to avoid possible attacks, fangs aglow. The trainer on the bridge - clearly annoyed - got up from the beam he was leaning against and stood in front of her. He was about to usher her through the exit, but then noted that she had a pokemon out and about, obviously aggressive. Saying nothing, he pulls out a pokeball, and summons a pokemon. Glalie. The trainer then tried to usher Sable through the exit, while Glalie tried to usher Umbreon. Turtwig immediately stopped crying, and produced a happy sound, eating the Oran Berry from Cillia's hand. It stopped half way, noticing Espeon, and hid from the psychic type behind Cillia. Burgh looked a tad confused. A fire type move? After he had just told the trainer it'd fail? "Alright Vivillion. Use Powder!" Due to Powder's priority, Torchic was covered in the powder. The powder absorbed the Ember, causing all of the powder to explode. Though Vivillion was pushed back, Torchic took the bulk of the damage. "Now use Gust with gusto!" Vivillion began to flap it's wings at Torchic, creating a strong wind current. "Get out of there, Ariados! Use String Shot at the ceiling again!" Ariados was just about to do as Roxie had said, but suddenly felt a burning sensation. The fire had finally reached Ariados, causing the pokemon to cry out in pain. The fire cleared soon after, showing a fainted Ariados and a web free arena. "Good job. Ariados, return." Roxie said, looking somewhat modest for a second, then reverting her face back to a confident grin. "Now that I've seen all your pokemon, I know who to use. Qwilfish! Let's rock this!" She said, summoning a spiky fish. "Bubble!" Qwilfish fired an array of bubbles at Growlithe as soon as it had been released.

@@Umbreon, @@Vaporeon, @@Sylveon, Phanpy was easily caught by Mawile's mouth, and thrown back. It hit the back of the gym, producing a loud thud. Despite Phanpy's small size, it was strong enough to sound much bigger than it actually was. Stella gritted her teeth in frustration yet again. She could no longer see Phanpy, and he probably wasn't faring well on the ice. "Alright. Plan B. Helioptile, use Thunder Wave!" She commanded her electric type, who nodded, and bounded onto the ice. Helioptile slid about some, but managed to stay a good distance away from Mawile. It then used Thunder Wave, hoping to paralyze the Mawile. Phanpy breathed heavily. It had almost fainted just from that one blow. This was awful. These people were really bad, weren't they? Phanpy scrunched it's trunk in and looked to be holding back tears. The ground type then shook his head, and puffed his chest out. He wouldn't lose to these people. Phanpy began to run at Mawile with the utmost speed, glowing white. Phanpy was using Take-down, hoping to damage Mawile as much as possible. It cracked the ice slightly with every step, giving the small ground type some traction. Stella noted the fact there was a Vileplume also on the field, and it had left the two elders who guarded the Dragon's Den asleep. There looked to be two other trainers with them. How odd. "Alright... Magikarp, use Tackle!" Stella said, summoning her Magikarp to play decoy. The fish flopped along towards Mawile, trying to flop on top of it. The girl then saw Phanpy. "Huh? What move is that?"
  16. Both of the moves hit Dunsparce, and it started to breathe heavily. Noting that Tempest was not someone to be messed around with, it ran to another patch of grass to hide there, and scare the occasional trainer. "Ariados, left!" Roxie shouted. Not that Ariados needed her to shout that. It could feel the web burning away from its left under it's hooked claws on its feet. Turning that way, as Growlithe was almost right upon the bug type, Ariados knew exactly what move to use next. "I wanted to save this move for a bit later, but oh well. Ariados! Use Sucker Punch!" Roxie said with a grin. Due to how close Growlithe was, and Sucker Punch's priority, Ariados easily managed to hit Growlithe just under the muzzle with one of it's feet. ((If any of you have watched Clannad, this Pumpkaboo is basically Fuko, but with Ghost types instead of starfish.)) Pumpkaboo continued to play in the water until it noticed Revvy and Locke. When it did, it looked straight at Revvy. "Boo." It said, in a quiet voice, then suddenly hovered up to Gastly, and said it again, this time louder. "Boo." After a long pause of Pumpkaboo saying nothing and doing nothing, it suddenly tried to hug Gastly, despite the distinct lack of arms. Pumpkaboo looked completely infatuated by Revvy, and had almost completely zoned out. Sentret, on the other hand, came across a Sawk and Throh fighting each other. Neither noticed the small Sentret. "That is indeed interesting..." Burgh said. "Though, fire types usually don't last very long in battle. No matter. Vivillion, I'd like you to make the call here." Vivillion remained where it was, and waited for Torchic to get close. Once it had, Vivillion released a yellow powder. Stun Spore. That might just even the odds a bit.

@@Umbreon, Stella gritted her teeth as Axew ran head first into the Dragon Breath. Such an attack was super effective, and Axew had quite minimum special defense already. By the time it was possible to see Axew again, he was clearly unable to battle. "Axew, return." Stella said, returning Axew to it's pokeball. She then stiffened her back, and bowed slightly. "Thank you for the battle." With that, Stella left. She was clearly distraught. She might have won that if Magikarp hadn't been on her team... Oh, who was she kidding. She was awful at battling. The girl rushed towards the pokemon centre, not noticing any of the commotion happening around her. Once she had got there, she tried to remain as chipper as possible, and gave the nurse the pokeballs containing Magikarp and Axew. As she waited for the two to be healed, both Phanpy and Helioptile attempted to cheer her up. Not to much prevail, but the two must have certainly looked cute to onlookers. Once Stella had her pokemon back, she had planned to go to the next town. That had an ice gym, right? Phanpy could handle that, but she might need something else as well. Helioptile might work too, as water and ice types are fairly common. Stella had left both Phanpy and Helioptile out of their pokeballs. Helioptile perched upon her shoulder and Phanpy happily bounded around the path. However, Phanpy suddenly stopped as it passed the gym, and looked to the lake behind it. "Hmmm? Something wrong, Phanpy?" She asked the blue pokemon, running to catch up with it. Phanpy was looking at the lake, and what the Beartic was doing to it. Freezing it over? Why? As Stella caught up, she noticed it as well. "Huh...?" She questioned aloud. "What are they doing that for? That's probably bad... I should tell Clair..." Stella cut herself off at the last thought. "No... I can't face her again. Phanpy, you'll have to take this. Use Roll-out." Phanpy nodded, and curled into a ball. It began to spin, rolling over the ice, and gaining quite a bit of momentum. Whether that hit Beartic and did anything was another story, however.
  18. Nah. Sandslash is adorable, in my humble opinion. x3 I don't have one, so no.
  19. Yes. Except Scraggy. Scraggy can stay. Well, if all the pokemon you catch are cute, then cute pokemon tend to fit on your team. Despite the fact they tend not to work well together, they look cute. I don't see the loss here.
  20. You people and your teams focusing on something or another. I just catch cute things. Cos they're cute.

@@Umbreon, Magikarp was slammed against the wall, and took quite some time to recover. Though it could still probably fight, Stella was not one to enjoy pushing her pokemon to their utmost limits. "Magikarp, return!" She said, returning it to it's pokeball. "Magikarp is no longer able to battle... Axew!" Stella knew the referee wouldn't call Magikarp unable to battle, so she had done it for them. Next, she summoned Axew. "Axew, use Dual Chop!" Axew nodded, sensing the tension in Stella's voice. Now was the time for a tough pokemon like yours truly. Axew began to charge at Dratini, about to hit it with a gold glowing fist.
  22. Dunsparce barreled through the Psybeam, though didn't manage to hit Cynder, as the hearts collided with it, however, it slowed down, and eventually came to a stop. "Alright, Ariados..." Roxie began. "There's no way Mud-slap's gonna knock you out, so just stay put." Ariados nodded, and remained where it was, which was just about the centre of the field. It was almost completely blinded now. There was no way it could fight long range. Burgh shrugged. "I don't believe relying on your opponent's ignorance to win is a proper technique. He said. "As an aspiring gym leader, I'm sure you are aware of a leader's responsibility? It's to gauge an opponent's power, not simply win! Though I'm sure some leaders, like the one in Virbank, believe otherwise. Once Burgh had finished talking, Lurele commanded her Torchic to use Peck. He pointed towards Vivillion, about to issue a command."Psybeam!" Vivillion began to fire a beam of colours at Torchic as it charged towards the bug type. As Mienfoo attempted to get atop Furfrou's head, Furfrou was ready. Though Cheren had not commanded it to use such a move, it used Headbutt on Mienfoo, who made a direct collision with Furfrou's head. "...Excellent work, Furfrou." Cheren said, indifferently. He was confused by the oppositions actions. - Pinwheel Forest - Pinwheel forest was dimly lit. Many fallen tree branches were hard to see, and could be easily tripped over. That was only in the deeper part of the forest, however, as a clear path also lead through the forest. In said path, a Slakoth slept. In the deeper part of the forest, a flock of Pidove rested in the branches of a few trees. A Yanma buzzed about. A group of Cherubi, Oddish, Petilil, Cottonee, Seedot, and Shroomish played in a small clearing. Near a pond's edge, a large Pumpkaboo played. An unseen battle could be heard in the distance.

@@Umbreon, Stella scratched the back of her head awkwardly. "Yea... I'd have to agree." She said, laughing nervously. "Trust me when I say I had no intent on using a Magikarp of all things against the most powerful gym leader in the region." Stella didn't seem to be paying much attention to the battle. Magikarp was done, at this point. Unless it evolved or something mid-fight, she had to rely solely on Axew. Joy. Magikarp had been paralyzed on top of the burn, and was also now being constricted by Dratini. As adorable as Dratini was, it was also proving quite a challenge for the karp. Magikarp flailed about for a bit longer as Dratini started using Wrap, but soon stopped. Though Magikarp was slowed by paralysis, the Swift Swim ability made up for this somewhat. "Magikarp! Use Splash, I suppose..." Magikarp used it's tail to splash some of the scalding water at Dratini's face, hoping to loosen Dratini's grip. It then tried to flail about more.
  24. It's very good. ^^ The shading is very nice, but you might want to sharpen your outlines a bit. Maybe make them thinner and coloured too (I dunno though, I always draw lineless.).
  25. The hearts did nothing on Dunsparce. It continued to barrel around, moving far too fast for any Dig to hit it. It's next target was Cynder, and it began to race towards her at top speed. Turtwig was woken up by all the commotion, and drowsily got up to see not only a Dunsparce tormenting a trainer and his two pokemon, but a Swablu pecking at another one. The Swablu looked to be the trainer's pokemon too. Turtwig chuckled to itself. As it got up, it was met by a barrage of stars. Though Turtwig didn't seem to take much damage from them, it's eyes suddenly became huge. Turtwig looked like it was about to cry. Every Mud Slap Croagunk fired made Ariados significantly more blind. "Alright, Ariados... Just string shot and hang from the ceiling!" Roxie said, obviously getting frustrated. "Then string shot on the entire field!" Ariados pulled itself up to ceiling, and began to coat the area in web. The pokeball once again absorbed Glameow into it. One... Two... Three. The pokeball stayed shut. Glameow has been captured
