Buttercream

Not much is known about the Princess's family background but she was born in Trottingham to a family of bakers. Despite her family's love for the craft and gaining her own cutie mark for creating a Buttercream cupcake, she wasn't fond of baking and preferred napping and using the remaining energy on creating her own dance routines for fun. After finishing school she was sent to Princess Celestia's school of magic by her parents who hoped she would learn to use her talents for the family craft, it was here that she began to learn to appreciate her talent. 

She spent some time in the Crystal Empire where she was taught to love her talent and the ponies she was baking for by Princess Cadance, it was here that everything changed. After hosting a bake-sale for a foal's hospital she was introduced to a young crystal filly who was dying of an incurable disease. Upon hearing how upset the foal was that she was unlikely to make it to her next birthday Buttercream was heartbroken and stayed up all night creating a magical party with all of the filly's favourite treats, which she awoke to with much delight. Having finally forgone her habit of sleeping too much for the sake of her talent and helping others she was granted her wings, becoming an alicorn and the Princess of Baking.

She currently travels Equestria, baking and dancing for everypony she meets. She met old school mates Battenberg, Birthday Wishes and Victoria Sponge while in Manehattan and learned lots of new baking and party crafting techniques from them, she considers them her friends.

She is quiet and kind and usually knows what is best for somepony, she loves to help everyone she can. However she can be a little scatterbrained and sleepy from time to time and overly focused at other times as she finds it hard to balance working on a task, sleeping and being sociable. 

Princess Buttercream is a small Alicorn mare with a cream coat and a white and caramel mane. She wears her hair in a large pony tail but it is still long enough to hang down to her knees, and her curls mimic swirling buttercream. Her tail is similar to her mane. She has dark brown eyes and usually appears a little sleepy. Her regalia is silver in colour and adorned with purple heart shaped gems.
