Evergreen

Evergreen was born in Ponyville and lived there for most of his life, he and his family were known around the town as incredibly skilled gardeners and often decorated the town with carefully constructed flower displays and topiaries. This was the life Evergreen lived until he met his girlfriend Heather. Talk about the town was that Princess Celestia was coming to visit her student Twilight Sparkle and all the ponies wanted everything to be perfect for her, Evergreen included. He spoke to Mayor Mare and convinced her to create the central flower display, a giant replica of the Princess's cutie mark that would be the first thing she saw upon arrival, this was done much to the chagrin of Daisy, Rose and Lily Valley. The specific type of tulip that Evergreen needed was only available in Manehattan so he had to order them in. A sweet mare named Heather delivered them to him personally since he was unable to do a pickup and she decided to stick around and watch his masterful work. While at first her constant questions and habit of getting in the way annoyed him he found a slight charm in her. Once the flower sun had been completed the klutzy mare got so excited that she tripped over her own mane and fell face first onto the display, flattening many of the flowers. While obviously Evergreen was upset at this he felt bad for the mare who burst into tears and was incredibly apologetic, he told her it was ok and that they could just replace the crushed tulips with some other flowers from Ponyville. The result was a flower sun with a strange shape in the middle but when the Princess arrived she loved it and happily chatted with both Evergreen and a starstruck Heather who seemed to have a bit of a crush on the princess. Knowing that Heather still felt bad Evergreen decided to pay her visits in Manehattan when he could, and numerous visits lead to the two becoming close with Evergreen finally moving in with Heather in Manehattan. The couple now work together with Evergreen growing plants for Heather to sell.

Evergreen is reserved and quite serious, he takes great pride in his work and doesn't talk much, especially while working. He has OCD and can get easily irritated and is overly cautious and protective of his work. Despite this he is also a very understanding and kind pony and doesn't usually take his anger out on ponies, even if they mess up his work.

Evergreen is a green stallion with dark green mane and tail, his hair is spiked and somewhat resembles conifer trees. He has brown eyes .

His cutiemark is a pine tree and represents his gardening ability.
