Rotten Apples

Rotting Apples grew up in a family who believed the truth only caused damage and that lying helps prevent this damage. When at school, she would lie frequently and would get into trouble by the teachers who could see when she lied. Her family didn't punish her, but instead was proud of her for lying. When she was 14, she started writing false newspapers. These false news affected some ponies who believed it was the truth and Rotting Apples benefited from this. One day, she wrote that the enemies of Equestria were good and that they serve as balance and that the Mane 6 were destroying this balance. The ponies who believed this caused a divide in the town between the believers and what they called non-believers. As tension grew in the small town, Rotting Apples got tons of bits from the ponies buying the false newspapers. One day, the tension finally exploded which caused a riot. When the riot was over, Rotting Apples was arrested for writing false stories. She was forced to stop and her newspapers destroyed. She was furious about this and swore revenge. One day, she got a letter telling her to travel to a park in a city at a specific time. Rotting Apples met five ponies and a bright blue pony explained that they were chosen to be the Elements of Chaos by some prophecy. Rotting Apples resembled the element of deception and now she blackmails ponies and write false stories to cause tension. 

Rotting Apples was confused at the start of her life because she didn't know if lying was bad or good. But when she first told her lie, and was praised by her family, she understood that lying was good. She would continue to lie and saw the truth as bad, she would get mad whenever some pony told her the truth was good. As she started to write the false newspapers and earn bits, she started to get greedy. She would write even more lies and was proud that of the believers, and when the riot happened, she was proud of herself. When she was arrested, Rotting Apples believes she didn't do anything wrong. So when she was unable to write more lies and her newspapers were destroyed, she was furious. This rage against the princesses built up and soon she would swore to bring down the princesses and the Mane 6. So when she told that she was the element of deception, she was proud and started to write false stories again. She also got into the habit of blackmailing and started to be sarcastic around her fellow ponies.
