Tic Tac Toc

Toc Tic Tac have vague memories of being independent creatures many years ago, but they wonder if that was just a dream. Although definitely male, and having encountered female Chimera before, they have no memory of a Chimera mother, father, or any true siblings beyond each other. Like most Chimera, they refer to each other as ‘brothers’, despite technically inhabiting the same body.

The three have been steadily moving in a south-westerly direction after leaving the fire swamps, trying to keep out of sight of ponies or others. There were getting to be far too many ponies travelling through or living near the swamps for their comfort, and they fully realize that they are considered a monster and valid fodder for any hero-types that might wander through. They have not quite made up their minds, but they are aware of the uninhabited areas to the west beyond Los Pegasus, and to the south in the Badlands. While the Badlands are more likely to support them, they are concerned that area may be too hot for them. The unexplored West however may be just a rumour and may not actually exist. 

Being a creature made of three heads, each one is sufficiently different in personality to make the concept of them being one creature a bit difficult to absorb. This is a standard problem with multi-headed creatures, but Chimera take it to an extreme due to the radically different nature of the three-made-one.

Tac, as mentioned previously, is fastidious. He’s also rather nervous and a worrywart, likely to startle at anything unusual.

Toc is stubborn, and somewhat unthinkingly brave; more likely to drive forward and hope for the best.

Tic has a weird sense of humour and spends most of his time trying to play Tac and Toc off of each other just for the amusement value. Tic also has a tendency to sing, though not very well.

Together Tic Toc Tac, although technically part of a predatory species, is not very good at hunting; relying mainly on their omnivorous nature thanks to the fact Toc seems to have retained his ruminate digestion system.

It might also be noticed that Tac Tic Toc doesn’t always use the same order of names, as they don’t seem to notice or care which is ‘primary’ at any given time, nor do they often refer to their collective selves. They are supposedly all equal in their gestalt and think of themselves as individuals. 

One of the few male Chimera wandering Equestria, Tac Toc Tic has the foreparts of a spotted Lynx (Tac), the hindquarters of a brown Sheep (Toc), and the tail of a green grass snake (Tic). He is quite a bit smaller than a female Chimera; being shorter than the average pony although seeming a bit bulky for that height due to the wide body needed to accommodate the two heads at the front.

Tac has greenish-yellow eyes and what he believes is lovely shiny orange fur with black spots and white under his chin, belly and paws. While he has retractable claws, even when they are out they are hard to spot due to the length of the fur on his paws. He spends a great deal of time cleaning that coat.

Toc has brown eyes, rough dark horns that curl around his ears, a dark brown face, and a vaguely curly lighter brown fleece. Toc is not as fastidious as Tic, and his fleece tends to have bits of grass and seeds stuck in it.

Tic has green eyes with red speckles, and orange-brown stripes running down his otherwise green sides.
