Appearance:

Aeolia is relatively tall and suspiciously slender. She has an unevenly spotted light grey coat and a darker mane with beige stripes. The only other colour she possesses is the purple of her eyes and cutie mark. She values looking nice, although her fear of mirrors makes it hard to concentrate on her appearance. Her approach to style is modest and practical, usually seen with her long mane in a loose braid, and a black vest for holding various objects while also covering her body.

(Okay, I used the Pony Creator. I could have drawn her, but I didn’t feel like it.)

Cutie Mark:

A polar rose defined by the equation r=sin(5θ/3), graphed on both the polar and cartesian planes. It combines her love for mathematics with the frequency intervals used in music, while also looking like a pretty flower, which has its own specific significance. The cartesian (wave) part continues down the side of her body for for a good fraction its length.

Personality:

Subdued and nervous, hiding in the background unless you force her out of it, hating to be seen or heard. Her voice is rather low for a mare, yet still delicate, and she never yells, instead opting for passive-aggressive jabs that occasionally get her in trouble. She prefers to be realistic, to the point that her negativity sometimes becomes a problem.

Backstory:

Unlike most ponies, her cutie mark didn’t appear all at once, but rather, the wave appeared a few years before the rose did. It turns out, she discovered the personal importance of music before she had the biggest realization of her life when she was a teenager. That, I prefer not to give away. Also, I’m lazy and haven’t actually finished the backstory yet.
