Appearance: Alex Night has a light blue body with a build similar to the Mane 6. He also has Hazel eyes and are shaped similar to Rainbow Dash. His wings are also similar to Rainbow Dash. His mane and tail are brown and the mane has a small, but shaggy look. The tail is also medium long and shaggy as well. His ears is similar to Twilight Sparkle. His build is athletic for a young colt.

Cutie Mark: Alex Night's Cutie Mark is a shield. It is colored red with a golden outline and a white star in its center. It resembles what he is: a protector who would always stand up for his friends and other ponies in need.<br /><br />MLP: FiM - 7th Element of Harmony alternate details.<br /><br />In this story, Alex does have his Cutie Mark, but recent events in the RP's backstory have caused his Cutie Mark to fade slightly.

Personality: Alex Night is a colt who always seeks to be a great help to other ponies. He is an active pony and loves competition. (He might not like losing, but he always acts as a good sport) He is brave and willing to do anything he needs to, especially when it comes to dealing with bullies. Whatever the problem a pony has, he is more than willing to help make things easier.

Backstory: MLP: FiM - The 7th element of Harmony Backstory<br /><br />Alex Night didn't really have the best start at making friends. He grew up in an orphanage over in Phillydelphia, where the big colts always push around the little ponies who can't protect themselves, especially the ones with "Blank Flanks". He never was a fan of bullies, so he always finds himself at odds with the big colts. At one time, a young philly was being pushed around by three other earth ponies who were playing keep away with her locket. Having enough of the cruelty, Alex stepped in and flew across to grab the locket while it was in midair. The three Earth ponies didn't like what Alex did and told him to 'butt out of their business'. Alex landed between the young philly and the three Earth ponies and told them, "When you go around harassing other ponies, it becomes MY business." The Earth ponies had enough and charged straight for Alex, who had anticipated a move like this. He ducked under their pounces and dashed to the right before the ponies collided with each other. Taking this chance, Alex flew in circles with quickness, giving each pony a flurry of hits all over. After 5 seconds of hitting, the Earth ponies were left with dazed and confused in a cuddle puddle, unable to continue the brawl. Alex walked up to the young philly and gave back her locket. The philly was so grateful that she gave him a hug and said, "Thank you for coming to my rescue!" Alex returned with a simple reply, "It was nothing, really." The philly released him from her embrace and looked at him with shock. "Oh my gosh, look at your flank!" She exclaimed. A surprised Alex looked at his flank to find that a cutie mark in the shape of a red shield with a white star appeared. He couldn't believe it. He finally got his cutie mark because of what he did helping that young philly. At that moment, Alex knew that it was his purpose to defend the ponies who needed help from those who would push them around. Soon, Alex went around the orphanage helping the young ponies from dealing with bullies to consoling with them when they are sad.<br /><br />Eventually, he did befriend a young colt named Little Tom who was once getting pushed around by bullies for having a "Blank Flank" and for having glasses. Alex Night defended the poor colt and quickly became friends. They shared the interests and even though Alex was athletic, he could never beat Tom at strategy games like Chess and was eventually taught how to win at games like it.<br /><br />Everything was going fine as Alex Night was about to turn 18 years old in one week, which allow him to leave the custody of the orphanage, and Alex told Little Tom that he would come back on the same night to help him sneak out of the orphanage so that the two of them can go out having adventures just like 6 Legendary ponies from Ponyville. Everything was going great for Alex until one day, Alex received a note from a random Philly about Little Tom needing some help in the playground after dark. When Alex got there, Little Tom wasn't there; instead, he found himself surrounded by all of the big colts who bullied the other young ponies. Alex was surprised that he found Little Tom with them and wasn't acting scared or hurt. That's when it hit him: Tom lured him out here away from the eyes of the other ponies and the caretakers of the orphanage so that the bullies could take Alex down. <br /><br />Alex fought as hard as he could, but was eventually overpowered by their numbers and received a beating he would never forget. After it was over, Alex looked at Little Tom and Tom just turned and walked away with the bullies, leaving Alex with cuts and bruises out in the playground. After a while, Alex got on his hooves and grabbed a few essentials into his bag and left the orphanage before sunrise. One thought was going through his mind: "I will never place my faith in others again. Friendship is a lie."<br /><br />A decade has passed and Alex is 27 years old. Over the years, Alex has become faster, stronger, and a more successful flyer. Along the lone road he traveled, he helped other ponies with their problems. Some of them had wished to become his friend and asked to stay, but Alex declines everytime with a 'thank you' and moved on. At one point, he did stay to do some training in Karate, knowing the kind of dangers out in Equestria. Soon, his eyes were met on a small town that was overlooked by a large castle on a mountain. He looked to his right and saw a sign that said, "Welcome to Ponyville!" in bright colors. A further off to his right, he saw a great forest and decided to head through there. Little did he know, he was heading straight into the "Everfree Forest"!<br /><br />This is his story. A story of Alex Night and the adventure that would help him learn a few things about true friendship.<br /><br />Shifted: the Remake Backstory<br /><br />Sam Wingfield is a normal junior year student in high school settled in a small town called Flour City. He lives for himself since his parents were more fixated on their careers than on him. He was that boy that wasn't exactly a loser, but he had no real friends. He spent his time practicing soccer so he can join the varsity team. Unfortunately, the Varsity boys didn't want him on the team, but they couldn't turn people away from trying out. On the day of the tryouts, Sam was the last to try out. All he had to do was score 5 goals on a defender and the goalie before time runs out.<br /><br />Sam was moving with speed and agility reminiscent of Barry Deckem and already scored 4 goals with 1 minute left on the clock. Sam was about to seal the deal until he felt a sharp pain in his shin that caused him to trip and mess up the shot. He realized that the defender tripped him on purpose. 15 seconds were left on the clock and he had to act fast. Brushing himself, he regained possession of the ball. 10 seconds left; it was all or nothing. He moved with the ball on a bee line and saw the defender was looking for a second attempt at cheating and Sam was ready for it this time. He faked to the left and moved the ball to the right side causing the defender to miss the hit. 6 seconds left; Sam had an opening. Sweat was dripping from his face and with adrenaline pumping in his veins, he wound up for a hookshot, but something shined in his eyes off the distance, throwing his shot off and miss the goal. The buzzer rings and the score was 4 out of 5. Regaining his sight, he saw that one of the Varsity players held a mirror in his right hand. He couldn't believe what he found out: the Varsity players were cheating to make sure he wouldn't make the tryouts.<br /><br />Tryouts were over and it was already almost sundown. Sam was walking home along the river that runs along the street leading to the school. He experienced disappointment before, but this one hit home. Not only did he have no friends, his parents weren't ever there to help and worst of all, his dream to join the School's Varsity Soccer team was crushed by a group of bullies and cheaters. Sam stopped by the park next to the School district's Elementary School and looked over the playground.<br /><br />After what seemed like hours, he was about to turn and keep walking home until he saw a strange glow over by the swing set. With curiousity overtaking his conscience, he walked cautiously to the light source. At closer inspection, he saw that the light source was shaped like a crack and glowed a bright purple light. He felt a strange sensation from the pulsating light, getting stronger the closer he moved to the light. The energy he felt from the light was dark. It all felt so wrong, but he doesn't stop moving closer. Finally, he stops until he was two feet from the crack. Not knowing why, he reached out to the crack. As soon as he made contact, an invisible force grabbed his hand and pulled Sam into the crack.<br /><br />Sam tried to scream, but he couldn't make a sound while falling into the darkness not knowing where it would lead.<br /><br />To be Continued...<br /><br />Canterlot Mystery Theater Backstory:<br /><br />Alex Night lived his life as a member of the Pegasus Weather Patrol for over 5 years up in Cloudsdale. He loved doing the work because it allowed him to work with the one, the only, Rainbow Dash: The Best flyer all over Equestria. He had always strived to be like her in terms of speed and coolness. Alex never went out much except for Pinkie Pie's birthday parties. At some nights, Alex looks out from his window over at Canterlot hoping someday, he would be able to attend a party so great like the Grand Galloping Gala or just any great party over there. Unfortunately, he didn't have the great status like Rainbow Dash or the Wonderbolts to attend parties like those. Alex always wonders what it is like.<br /><br />One day, Alex just got done with thundercloud detail when a Pegasus mail carrier gave him a letter. When Alex opened the envelope, he looked inside and found an invitation to a party called the Applewood Magic Festival in Los Pegasus as well as a ticket for a ride on a luxurious train called Los Pegasus Express. Alex couldn't believe his eyes holding the invite. He just had to go to this party now!<br /><br />The Quest for the Forbidden Temple Backstory<br /><br />Alex Night had been working in the Ponyville Weather Patrol while living in his home at Cloudsdale. He was charged with helping Rainbow Dash perform thundercloud duty, mostly because he loves the challenge of handling thunderheads. One day, he was flying around during a break from his duties to do some aerial tricks. Strangely to Alex, he saw that there were some clouds that weren't supposed to be in Ponyville according to the forecast. He also noticed that there was no activity going on in the town; it was all quiet. "Hello? Anypony out there? Cloud Chaser!" Alex called out to receive no answer from no pony. Alex was starting to get a little worried. "What happened to everyone?..."
