Personality: very intelligent and calm, often mocked for his "soft" approach to conquest. He actually cares about the drones under his command and refuses to throw their lives away needlessly but will not refuse to spend them should that be an option.

Backstory: At first glance, Alias stands out amongst the ranks of Chrysallis' changling army. The reason for this is simple, she is not his Queen.<br /><br />Alias is the leader of the "Marked Ones", the sole survivors of a much smaller hive that lay in the path between Chrysallis and Equestria. <br /><br />The Gray Hive had did not share the taste for love that Chrysallis craved, they savoured fear and fought to instil it in others though battle, usually in the form of small raids on the Griffon Kingdom.<br /><br />When the Grey Queen refused an alliance with Chrysallis, she did not respond well. A War between hives broke out underground, it barely leasted a week. The sheer size of Chrysallis' army over whelming the fewer but far stronger grays.<br /><br />The grey hive fell, but the losses had been greater than Chrysallis expected, in particular were Alias and his remaining brothers defending the body of their fallen queen to the death.<br /><br />It was here that Chrysallis intervened. Tempting as it was to just destroy the remaining grays, she had to respect there strength. There stubborn refusal to leave their queen was admirable if not foolish.<br /><br />She offered them the choice to serve her. If they accepted she would allow them to bury their former queen. Alias accepted. Fighting to the death would not protect his queen from being a prized trophy.<br /><br />They painted themselves with red stripes to mark of rememberance and came into Chysallis' service as shock-troops. to be called upon when her own weaklings couldn't get things done.<br /><br />They also had one other vow. They would one day avenge their fallen queen.
