Personality: He's fun loving, but serious when the time calls. He believes that he is responsible for the safety of everypony around him.<br /> He hates pears... a lot.

Backstory: Alpha was a runt in school, until he learned his special talent by protecting a little filly from a group of bullies.<br /><br /> When he was 17 he lied about his age to join the Equestrian military. He then developed skills as a powerful battle mage. When he saw his field seargent die in battle he developed a form of split personality disorder. Both personalities act the same, and have the same names, but only one of them remembered seeing his seargent die. because of this, even his personality that doesn't remember feels a need to keep everypony safe. He sometimes blames himself when somepony gets hurt, even if he's not in any way responsible.<br /><br /> After his four year service, he took a job as town guard in Ponyville. He takes responsibility for all its citizens well being.
