Appearance: Amber is a small, thin Pegasus and generally has an outwardly unremarkable appearance. A khaki brown coat and coal black hair, with a noticeably large fringe that often can obscure her vision slightly. Her deep blue eyes are surprisingly calm despite the role she and her family play in Equestria.<br /><br />She is often found to be wearing standard military grunt uniform: a simple, tight-fitting grey jumpsuit, with white and black accents. The Equestrian flag is clearly displayed in multiple locations on it.

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is that which shows one of Ares' (The Greek God Of War) birds known as the Ornithes Areioi. It helps to display her families deep roots in the Equestria military but also her eagerness to continue that heritage.

Personality: Amber is quite quirky and enthusiastic due to her young age and lack of experience in military service. However, being raised in a military family meant that she is very respective of authority so often is treated as the 'goodie two-shoes' of any group when a pony she believes to be above her is present.

Backstory: Born into the Hearthstone family meant that Amber carried a large weight on her shoulders from an early age. The family had a long line of service in Equestria and Amber was expected to follow suit. The strict family life coupled with her determination to follow in her father's footsteps to become an officer of Celestia's personal guard, meant Amber omitted herself from others; she made very few friends throughout her childhood and early adult life.<br /><br />As soon as she was old enough she applied to join Corbulo Academy, a small military academy where she excelled in both combat and non-combat exercises rising to the top of the academy for her consistently high scores.<br /><br />Despite being offered a variety of high-ranking roles, Amber took a more humble route than was expected of her after graduating, opting for a small role in the Equestria Gate Complex, fascinated by the Stargate and it's power.<br /><br />As expected of any soldier, she carries with her a sidearm; but one crafted by hoof with silver pieces and a mahogany wood mouthpiece. The sidearm is a key item in displaying her rich heritage.
