Appearance: A tall changeling of average muscular composure. Ao has eterochromia, which means his eyes are different color one is soft sea green and the other is honey brown. He has silver hair and a lighter green carapace.

Cutie Mark: Changelings have no cutie mark as of now.

Personality: Loyal to the Changeling Kingdom Ao will protect Queen Chrysalis at all costs. Her behavior towards her own subjects has inspired in him the respect she deserves. Ao is often serious but very crazy and fun once you manage to get past his inhibitions.<br /><br />He has a crush on Queen Chrysalis.<br /><br />As for the ponies? His behavior against them will depend according to the pony.

Backstory: As a kid Ao grew up replacing a stallion by the name Tidal Rider until he was ready to return to the Changeling Kingdom. Growing up he got to appreciate feeling like love, beauty and others by the perspective of a pony.<br /><br />Once he was called back to the Changeling Kingdom there was a 180 degree turn. Out in the harsh wasteland that is the Badlands the Changelings live in constant threat of their surroundings be it Chimeras, Dragons, or otherwise. To survive Ao hardened himself and became a warrior in the name of Queen Chrysalis.<br /><br />Though harsh to her enemies the Queen was not the same way to her own subjects. Witnessing a patriot in her Ao applied for the Royal Guard of the Changelings. Many battles would be fought, more often than not the Queen would join such battles thus earning the respect of Ao. Since then Ao has developed a crush for Queen Chrysalis.<br /><br />Now a Royal Guard Ao is ready to do anything for the Changeling Kingdom.
