Appearance: While she is, indeed, 12, she's still rather short, practically the size of a filly. She has a blood red coat, and a pale yellow mane, complemented with some orange on the tips. Her right eye is brown, while her left is blue.

Cutie Mark: Despite her name, she cannot sing as her parents hoped. Instead, her talent is solving puzzles, mental or physical. This results in her sporting a pale orange puzzle piece.

Personality: Aria is quite insecure, due to her terrible past. Once she releases her tight grip on her trust, most ponies become friends with her. She's very conscious, and tries everything in her ability to keep her friends. She's very modest.

Backstory: Aria was born to two rather abusive earth ponies. They forced their family gift of musical excellency upon her, and anything less than exceptional was punished. At the age of 10, she ran away from home. A certain gray pegasus took her in, both ponies accepting the other's eye problems. Her birth parents weren't the only source of her judgement, however. The other fillies at her school teased her so much she pleaded with Derpy to let her quit school. Her guardian disagreed, though, convincing her that someday she'll be accepted.
