Appearance: He is your typical half eagle half pony combo, or hippogryphon. With a bald eagle like head, sporting a crest of pink, orange, green and purple highlighted feathers as well as reflecting those colors in his tail, he also sports a pony half that has the colors of a tiger. Truly an auspicious combination, that plays a vital role in his backstory.

Cutie Mark: None, though he wishes to prove he can earn one

Personality: Both loyal to his care taker Lightning Bliss and Nights Hoopla, Artemis is both loving of his surrogate parents, and strives to be the best he can be while living as part of his new pony/draconequus family. He looks up to Lightning Bliss as a mother though she insists he looks upon her as a mentor instead. He wishes to earn more of her affection by trying to prove he can be a pony like her, and tries to earn a cutie mark by doing tasks for her as much as possible to assist in her role as Princess. When she's not around to help him with such, he'll attempt to complete other tasks, like becoming a skilled flyer or runner. He's very shy out in the open around other ponies, but when Lightning Bliss or Nights Hoopla are around him, he's bold and confident, and not afraid to speak his mind.

Backstory: Almost 10months ago, up in the northern mountains, cold and alone…Artemis hatched, out of his egg up in the cold mountains, but his mother was no where to be found. When she did not show up, the young hippogryph ventured out of his home against his innocent better judgment to find his mother. It so happened that he stumbled upon an alicorn Princess, who happened to be, at the time, to be on a quest with another group of ponies, following the trek of the legendary Starswirl the Bearded. He mistook her for his mother due to her rainbow mane and tail similar to his own. Latching to the most recognizable aspect, he chose the alicorn as his guardian…imprinting her every move. Unaware that his true mother, had been maliciously murdered by male hippogryphs. The pony was known as Lightning Bliss, the Alicorn of Peace, whom took him in, especially after the fact when the young hatchling, earned his name as a bold protective hunter, who risked his young life to protect his new mother when she was mare napped by the same male gryphons who murdered his mother…Artemis, the rainbow hippogryph. <br /><br />As the months went by and little Artemis grew into a healthy hippogryph, he stride to find his place in a world of ponies, with his guardians Lightning Bliss, and his father like figure, Nights Hoopla at his side.<br />
