Cutie Mark: Blank sketch book with a pencil laying over top. It means she's especially good at art, but, due to the blank page, can also dabble with some proficiency in other trades, hence her name, Artisan.

Personality: Quirky. She's shy it some situations, and an absolute princess about the feelings of others. If she's having an off day, her mule temperament comes out to play.

Backstory: Artisan was born sixteen years before the downfall of Princess Luna. Her mother, ashamed to have birthed a mule as a child, dumped her at the nearest orphanage.<br /><br />Luna swept through the area when Artsy was thirteen, spiriting young street ponies and orphans away (yes, this is based on the upcoming animation, CotN)Artisan was taken by Luna one night, and, due to her birth quirk of a unicorn's horn, the two warmed up to one another.<br /><br />Artisan, along with dozens of other children, were turned into soldiers via magic on the night Luna let Nightmare Moon in. Celestia banished not only her sister, but also her small army of orphans, straight to the moon.<br /><br /><br />Artsy and the others were put into a sort of hibernation, somewhat like a cryosleep. After the thousand years were up, they remained on the moon for a year after Luna had left. A strange alignment in the stars caused them all to be launched from the moon, and back to Equestria, leaving dozens of confused, and scared children scattered across the globe.
