Personality: Ash is a fighter. "Nothin' better than a good fight," he'd say. But Ash isn't the typical asshole street fighter. Ash knows his strengths and weaknesses, his limits and advantages, making him the opposite of ballsy or cocky. Ash will also never fight without a good reason. <br />

Backstory: Born in the Everfree Forest without any knowledge of his parents, Ash had to fight and use his own instincts to survive another day. This made Ash a pretty rough stallion. Ash survived by applying learned experiences, gathering edible plants, and hunting. <br /><br />Ash was found when he was thirteen by Zecora. She saw him at night, rubbing ash from burnt wood into his mane to camouflage better. She named him Ash from that. Zecora took him to Canterlot, where Princess Celestia taught him how to speak and how society works.<br /><br />After helping Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres for a two years, had enough money for his own house in Ponyville. He still continued to work there.<br /><br />Three years past, Ash spoke fluently and fully understood how society works. He received a letter, an invitation to a ball and Canterlot. He decided to go.<br /><br />At the party, Ash stayed in the corner with the food until it was time for Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to give a celebration speech. At the end, pyrotechnics went off. One of the firework rockets had a miscalculated trajectory. It landed right at Princess Luna's hooves. <br /><br />Ash took off like a train. Charging with every muscle in his body, sprinting faster than any pegasus in the room could fly, he tackled Princess Luna to the floor, right before the firework went off with a green fiery explosion. A loud gasp came from the croud. After that, Ash rolled off Luna.<br /><br />Princess Luna stood up. The pain caused this all to be a blur to Ash.<br /><br />"This brave stallion did not hurt me, nor intend to," Princess Luna announces. "He saved me from severe burns, injury or even death. He is a hero."<br /><br />Ash felt weird on his flank before fainting from pain.<br /><br />Ash woke up in the hospital. Singed hair and burn injuries deform his back. He notices on his flank, there's a shield. A tower shield. The shield of ultimate tanking and defense. Ash leaves the hospital, regardless of the nurses telling him not to and lays down on his bed at his house. A smile of satisfaction forms on his face, because he knows he has a whole world of adventure in front of him...
