Appearance: (Look above. I'll probably describe her properly later, but since she has a proper picture, I can't be bothered to at the moment xD)

Cutie Mark: A blue flower, the same color as the lighter streak in her hair. It represents how close she is to nature, and her talent for growing healthy, happy plants, especially flowers.

Personality: Azure is very down to earth, and close to nature. She's very passive, but not quite shy. However, she doesn't know how to say no to requests , so she usually comes across as a doormat. She's very sweet and kind, and tries to see the best in everypony, until they push her too far. She has a fairly optimistic outlook on life. <br />She loves flowers and plants and nature in general, and hates when anyone disrespects nature.<br />She's an introvert, so she's more likely to stay at home in her garden rather than go out into town, but that doesn't mean she dislikes socializing. She's sometimes a little uncomfortable when meeting new ponies, and may take a bit of time to open up, but she's generally friendly and talkative to begin with, mores when she's fully comfortable with who she's talking to. She's very independent, and usually won't ask for help unless she's desperate, and will often refuse help. <br />She prefers to stay on the ground but isn't against flying, she just doesn't particularly care for it. She could've been born an Earth Pony and been perfectly fine with it. <br />She's somewhat prone to short bouts of depression, but it doesn't happen very often.

Backstory: Azure was born in Cloudsdale and raised as an only child. It was just her and her mother living in a tiny house. Her father had died just before her birth.<br />When she was young, too young to fly, her mother took her down to Ponyville. She saw al the vibrant flowers and plants around the town and became obsessed with it, even at such a young age. As soon as she was strong enough a flier to fly down to the ground below and back up to Cloudsdale, she started flying down into a meadow just outside of Ponyville every day. She would just study the flowers and explore. A few times she took friends down to see the meadow, but they didm't seem to find it quite as interesting as she did, which was odd, to her. <br />All through early school years, she was considered a doormat and a bit of an outcast, so she had several bullies. The bullying got worse when they were all getting into their early teens and she still didn't have her cutie mark. She tried her best to ignore them, but after some time, they wore her down. She started falling into depression. She never fell as far as self-harm or thoughts of suicide, but her self-worth and self-esteem were at an all-time low. She became somewhat of a shut-in, and she was rarely her usual positive self anymore. Her mother noticed this, and thinking upon her love of nature, bought some seeds and a planter for the windows of her house, and tasked her daughter with caring for them. It was therapeutical for Azure, and soon she returned to her cheerful self. The plants benefitted as well. Under her care, the flowers grew to be healthy and beautiful, earning her her cutie mark.<br />Of cpurse, she still continued to have small bouts of depression, but they never lasted too long.<br />She moved out of Cloudsdale the first chance she got. Not out of dislike or particular desire to leave her family, but because she knew she belonged on the ground. After saving up enough bits, she purchased a plot with a small cottage in the countryside out near Ponyville, and started growing flowers. Eventually, she began a flower stand in the market in town.
