Backstory: A long since living guardian of the skies and protector of the balance between the spiritual and physical planes of existence. His size and imposing looks are to fend off aggressive approaches. But he is far from a aggressive or greedy dragon. He his actually quite pure of heart and is willing to help those who seek his guidance. He watches and protects all life of Equestria, but none more than his own kin. Though in his recent years his power has waned some, but he is not to be underestimated. Though even he isn't without weakness however. There have been rare occasions of him nearly falling to those wield Dark Magic with such a malice towards all life. He sees those near death experiences as lessons to learn by, and seek to make sure such dark magic power never has a chance to cause chaos in the world. With the Elements of Harmony dealing with various dark forces in the recent years, he watches as it unfolds. Though he wonders of he day when even the elements or the magical hearts of ponies will not be enough. He hopes that a day like that never comes. He may one day die on his own knowing that world is safe. He make very rare visits to homes of ponies, the fact that his is a dragon being why. Many ponies fear his kind and even him with his imposing looks. He cannot answer for the crimes of his kin but he can only hope to gain the trust of those that share his air.
