    BeatrixBow

    • Age: 18

      Gender: Female

      Species: Unicorn

Appearance: Her coat is a light lavender, just like her aunt Lucy. Her hair is a nice blue-ish indigo, and is well maintained. She always wears her signature red bow, and she only takes it off when she feels she needs to. Otherwise, NEVER. It's the only thing that reminds her of her dad.

Cutie Mark: A purple bedazzled microphone. Here's her cutie mark story: It was talent show night. From the crowd, the stage was decorated and the stage lights were lit. The show was about to begin. Parents and relatives had their video cameras raised high, waiting for the show to start, so they could get their growing fillies and colts on tape, performing. But from behind the scenes? Everything was a total mess! Half the acts weren't even there, and the half that was there was scared out of their minds. Charlotte Meadows had a bad case of stage fright, and was curled up in a corner whispering to herself. Pepper Flash was trying to make a rabbit come out of his hat, but all the rabbit wanted to do was chew on his cape. The teacher, Mr. Silvermist, kept screaming, "Why did I think this would be a good idea? Why? WHY?! We should just cancel the whole thing. Yeah." He was clutching his head trying to think. There was one filly. She was just the light manager, but she had courage. The courage to make this show a success. She would do it for the school. For her parents. For the love of Celestia, why not?"Pete, you stay here and watch the lights. I got work to do." She made her way across the stage, and talked to Mr. Silvermist. "Fine by me. Knock 'em dead Beatrix!" Mr. Silvermist smiled and waved Beatrix to the back room to get dressed and made up. "Alright ponies! We got a show to put on!" Mr. Silvermist gathered all the fillies and colts and gave them a pep-talk. "The show must go on!" As soon as Beatrix entered the back room, the makeup ponies swarmed over her, making her look as grown up as her older sister. She looked fabulous! She grabbed the dress that was supposed to be for Charlotte, and put it on. After having her hair curled, Mr. Silvermist made an announcement. "Ok, everypony! Listen up! Thank you all for coming. I'm afraid we're going to have less acts than expected." He paused as the crowd groaned."But don't you fret. We will be having a very special performance!" The audience cheered and Mr. S backed away from the stage. "Good luck, young filly!" he gave Beatrix a hoof up and handed her the microphone. She paused to think. Should I do this? Will it be worth it? What if nobody likes it? I have no choice!" She took a deep breath and strutted onto the stage. "Hey, everypony!" She waved to her parents in the back row, who looked very surprised and were screaming with delight. "Go Beatrix!" She smiled and spoke into the microphone."This is an original song I wrote just for you! Here we go!" And with that she performed her song. The crowd went wild. They threw flowers, and cards. Someone even threw a gumdrop! She rushed over to her parents and they embraced. "Oh, honey, we are so proud of you!" Her mom said. "Great job Beatrix! Wait-look at your flank!" Her dad said in delight. Her heart beat fast as she looked at her flank. Beatrix Camilla Bow had a cutie mark! It was beautiful! It was a purple bedazzled microphone! "My special talent is singing!" She jumped for joy and went to go meet her classmates.

Personality: Beatrix is a kind, friendly mare. She is rarely mad, but when she is watch out! She's had some bad experiences, and remembers them all too well. She is a wee shy, but will be very silly around good friends. She loves meeting new ponies, and hopes someday she will find her special somepony.

Backstory: All through Beatrix's life, she was kind and friendly to everyone. So it shocked her when her mother and father began to yell at each other and say mean things. This was NOT how she was raised at all! One day, her mother and father had been yelling at each other for no apparent reason. They were yelling and fighting like there was no tomorrow. Bu the worst was her dad. He threatened to leave the house if her had to live with mom. He claimed it was either her or him that left. He made things worse by making it up to Beatrix who would stay. Of course, Beatrix chose her mom because she loved her. She also loved her dad, and was about to claim that no one should leave, but it was too late. He packed his bags and left for Ponyville. He left the next day. Beatrix's mom, Sunshine Bow, was heartbroken. She vowed never to love again. And it stayed that way. When Beatrix woke up that morning, she found a red bow on her dresser. There was also a note. "Beatrix, I will love you and your sister no matter what. Don't you ever forget that. Love, Dad." He never came back. He would write letters sometimes, but would never visit. One day she told her mom, "This is all my fault. If I had just chosen to speak before choosing, Dad would still be here." Her mom shook her head and sighed. "No, Beatrix. If it's any pony's fault, it's mine. You should never blame yourself for my mistakes." Beatrix had no idea what to say, so she simply said, “I miss daddy." Her mom began to cry and replied, "Me too."
