Appearance: Pale yellow coat, with dark pink mane and tail. She usually has a single black highlight in her mane.

Cutie Mark: A spider and a snake. It symbolizes a connection with animals, though mostly ones widely seen as bad.

Personality: Belinda can come across as a jerk at times. She is fairly introverted and is often rude to ponies she doesn't know. <br /><br />She rarely has outbursts of any emotion, though anger is most common. However, it still takes a lot to push her into showing outward anger, but she can snap if her pet snake, is put in harms way.<br /><br />She has an affinity for animals, though she prefers "bad" animals, such as rats, snakes, spiders, etc. A lot of it is because she thinks they are just misunderstood, although she at least part of this preference is due to most ponies being scared of such animals (although she won't admit this). It should be noted that she still likes other, "nicer" animals, just not as much (thought she still prefers them to most ponies).<br /><br />She tries her utmost to seem like she just doesn't care what anypony else thinks of her. However, she can't stand the thought of anypony thinking that she is less intelligent than she thinks she is. She sees most ponies as being below her, but she doesn't act outwardly superior, and doesn't judge out loud (mostly because she doesn't want to start an argument and prolong a social interaction she didn't want in the first place). She hates being seen as part of any group or culture that she doesn't see herself a part of (which is pretty much anything). Above all, she only wants to be seen as the quiet, somewhat rude pony that should just be left alone most of the time.

Backstory: Belinda was born in Cloudsdale, though she moved to the surface early in life, as she disliked all the encouragement for young pegasi to be good fliers and race and whatnot. She grew with her Earth Pony Aunt and Uncle, and as such does not have a particularly good relationship with her immediate family.<br /><br />She had few real friends growing up, but loves her pet snake, Ophelia, very much.
