Backstory: Born in Phillydelphia, he got his cutie mark after finishing some math homework that involved writing a relatively simple geometry proof. He went out of his way to make the proof needlessly complex just because he found it amusing. He eventually began solving different proofs just for the fun of it. Now, he works as a programmer for a computer software company.
