Appearance: A scarlet red earth pony with emerald green eyes and a blue mane and tail.<br />Can occasionally be found with a hat or tie

Cutie Mark: Night star surrounded by swirling blue and violet colors. The star represents his hunger for action and the blue and violet represent his cocky, but assuring personality.

Personality: Blast is a cocky, collective, and cunning earth pony who's always open for new adventures and opportunities. Blast tends to be a bit oblivious to how serious a situation is, usually going about it however he wants to. This usually leads to actions first and words later, and can sometimes result in making bad decisions.<br />Despite that, though, he's very laid back and cool with other ponies. When somepony is feeling down or hurt, he's always willing to sit down and comfort them in whatever way he can. He prefers to work by himself when given the choice, but if not, he's perfectly capable of working with a team.<br />Blast can have a bit of a short temper, though. He's very easy to peeve, and when he's mad, he's not shy about sharing what's on his mind.

Backstory: When Blast was a small foal, he was a loner. He didn't have many friends, and he didn't talk to anyone unless he was extremely close to them. It was all because he had little confidence in himself. He didn't join any extra activities in school or excel in anything he did. He usually did the bare minimum, as he thought there was no better that he could do.<br /><br />One day at his library, Blast saw that a new series of books had just been shipped, a series in which he simply referred to as "The Daring Do Saga." The books interested him, as he was a fan of adventure stories. Naturally, these books caught his eyes, and one day, he decided to take the first book in the series home with him.<br /><br />After reading the first book, he continued to read the whole series for days on end, sometimes blowing through two, three, or even four novels in a single night. Eventually, Blast looked up to the main character as a rolemodel; a risk-taking, courageous adventurer with the confidence to take on seemingly any task. From that point on, Blast would strive to become a brave and confident pony, just like his role model, Daring Do.<br /><br />Nowadays, he still strives to become that, but he's come quite far. He's gained enough confidence and courage to take on the typical troubles of his everyday life. He's grown a bit of a cocky and condescending side, but nonetheless, he feels better about himself than he did a few years back However, will he be able to muster up enough courage to prevail through the challenges and adventures yet to come?
